Black men only make 1.5% of the population yet they feature in more than half of the man menu navigation images! What about Asian men? Or even black women? I will try to buy elsewhere unless you work on diversity as far as the representation of 'ethnic' population goes.
Ordered 2 items at a higher price than elsewhere due to them being advertised as "in stock" with Wiggle, and I needed them quickly.
After I ordered, it turned out that one of the items wasn't in stock which caused a delay to me receiving the item. Obviously this took away my original reason to chose Wiggle (and therefore pay more) in the first place.
Contacted customer services, which is absolutely terrible. Honestly it's really really bad! No phone number, just a contact form which led to an email which didn't acknowledge or resolve any of my issues. 3 emails later, and all I've gotten is ‘standard/template' responses that don't help at all.
Now they're being funny about refunding me too. Avoid avoid avoid!
Do not order through cycle to work scheme! I ordered a bike 8 months ago with Wiggle. I ordered a lovely bike in small and some accessories. The bike arrived and it was a large, I could not even get on the seat! It also had scuffs and scratches. I returned the bike but not the accessories as we had used them. I thought it would be as simple as them sending me the correct size I had originally ordered. This was not the case. Still 8 months on and I still do not have a bike. I was told I had to pay them the £300 worth of accessories to get my full voucher back or order another bike from them. The bike I wanted is now not on their website and there are no other ones I like. I am not in the position to pay £300 outright, this is why I used the scheme in the first place. They don't contact you for days and have no phone number to call. This is the most unhelpful company I have ever had to deal with. I can either order a bike I don't want, try to find £300 from somewhere or just let them keep the money I have nearly paid off. Absolutely diabolical customer service! I am now in a really tough situation down to no fault of my own.
Wow! What a terrible transaction with Wiggle! So I made an order, updated my address details and made payment with my current address, so I gets the confirmation email and sure enough the order is shipping to my old address. For some reason my old address remained as the shipping address (kind of easy oversight when ordering on phone right?) No fewer than 05 minutes after the email landed I mailed Wiggle to let them know that the address is wrong. Their response. We cannot change it once the order has been placed, we cannot refund, if the person at your old address takes in the parcel you need to go there and get it! In a global pandemic where we are staying home to save lives IM ABSOLUTLEY DISGUSTED sooooo bad!
The campanile is totaly rubbish, no customer service, unfortunately have to give one star because its impossible to give 0. No more shopping with this idiots.
They give false promises on delivery dates and don't care if they deliver on time. No customer service at all.
Long story short.
I placed an order for a 650 inner tube, after about 5 hours I found a new one in my shed. Quickly I've wrote to wiggle asking them to cancel the order. The reply was stunning: "To ensure we get you your order in the quickest possible time, there is only a very small window to cancel or amend. This is due to the majority of our orders being processed and dispatched within hours of being placed. With this being said, unfortunately we are unable to amend your order because it has already been processed in our warehouse system."
I replied saying that in UK is a 14 days cancellation policy if you purchase anything online or over the phone.
No reply from them.
I did received the item, but I don't need it anymore.
Up to you, but I'll take my business elsewhere.
Wiggle are great, I rarely look elsewhere when buying bike/triathlon gear.
Free delivery to Switzerland also a great plus.
Highly recommended
Wiggle shoppers beware. I recently received a 2019 DeRosa SK frameset from Wiggle when I actually ordered (according to their site and my invoice) a 2020. There are several differences between the framesets. My order states 2020 but the frame is clearly an earlier model. I brought this to their attention but they claim there is no inconsistency. The site continues to show 2020 models in the photos with the exception of the color I received but did not order (black - old style logos) which were added AFTER I informed them of the mistake. Now they show 4 2020 colors/frames (3 views of each) and 1 2019 color (the one I ordered) in the listing for the framesets. Also, expect to pay VAT ($187 USD for frames shipped to the USA). I had inquired about the possibility of VAT or other additional expenses but was not given answers from Wiggle, just a bill for VAT from the carrier they used. I have ordered from Wiggle previously and have been pleased enough but this experience has changed my opinion completely. It is especially frustrating that the site is still portraying incorrect information for the frameset even though they deny that is the case. Apparently they feel you should expect a 2019 even though you have ordered a 2020(?).
Placed an order in may 2020, and never been delivered.
Wiggle says the package has been shipped and delivered. Paypal refused to refund due to proof of delivery ( are you serious?) No communication at all with customer services.
Order ref: *******422
This website is a scam
They have terrible shipping prices which turn out to be quite expensive, and in my case, I didn't even accept the shoes because of the added costs of paying import fees. I requested to have them sent back for a refund but lost around $40 from shipping fees. Customer support takes far too long to reply and it's only be email.
Bought a food product that arrived rancid - customer support is non responsive. I have sent multiple emails and have tried to contact them on their Facebook page but I can't get any helpful reply.
I ordered a new Felt FR4 from Wiggle in April. It arrived in the middle of May and I had six weeks light riding on it until, in late June, the freewheel bearing started to jam. "OK" I thought "need to submit a warranty claim to Wiggle and should be quickly back on the road.". NO, HOW WRONG COULD I BE! Wiggle's Customer Service department does not even understand the concept of Customer and Service. Two weeks on, I have received precisely one email from them, and that was to ask for frame number etc, which I sent back within the hour. Chasing emails go unanswered and probably unread while my new bike gathers dust. As the overall rating says "Doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!"
I have come to believe that the customer service department doesn't exist at these clowns. Several messages and not once, (apart from automated mail of no use), have they ever responded. Live chat is another bad joke, it's always busy. I am stuck with a £1,000 bike. There system when I try to return it says speak to customer service, unbelievable. How are they allowed to treat customers like this. I am so annoyed and wished I had never dealt with them. Do so at your peril!
There is nothing good to say here. After the bike developed a problem I started the long never ending email msg, s which get know where fast. I asked for a bike box from day one and never got one. That waisted 31 days of my life. I had to find my own box from a local bike shop. Arranged parcel Force to collect the bike which has to go to NI. I'm sure that's just CRC. I'm now 61 days without a bike or my cash. I hope to never be involved with the wiggle web again. I have now asked my credit card to step as wiggle customer service is diabolical. Avoid like the plague.
I ordered a few tubes of rehydration tablets on the 28th May. I still haven't received them on the 15th June. They haven't replied to my email, except for a computer generated response. I've had to ask PayPal to retrieve my money. This company used to be the best until it merged with Chainreaction Cycles. Won't bother with them anymore as I've had this bad service a few times now. Absolute rubbish. Don't waste your time or risk loosing your money.
Due to to the lack of information on the website I had an additional charge of NZD 408,76 on my purchase. I live in New Zealand and I did not know that the product would come from United Kingdon. And even though I had this information, once I found it on Google New Zealand and bought it from Wiggle New Zealand website, I would not imagine that I could be charged with import tax.
The information provided on the website, on the main page of the product give detail information about delivery and returns, but does not provide anything about additional taxes. Just later I realized there was the information in another link entitled "Terms & Conditions". Why not provide this information on the main page of the product, together with other information related to Delivery and Returns?
Considering I had the information that Wiggle would answer my question in 4 days, and DHL gave me 3 days to pay the taxes to New Zealand Custom, and I had no information what would happen If I did not pay the taxes in the 3 days, I have decided to pay the imported duties.
I am happy with the product, but not happy with the Wiggle Website information and neither happy with the company.
I do not agree that I had to pay for the taxes, considering I have bought it from a New Zealand website and also the absence of information about it on the main page of the product on Wiggle Website or even some kind of alert about it before the purchase.
I purchased a set of Park Tool side cutters and received a chain and a chain locator! A small issue in the grand scheme of things... However customer service is non existent and trying to get a response is impossible as no phone number, online chat not working and email responder says 4-6 days and if not then email again!
My advice would be to not purchase from this company as they do not appear capable of dealing with the small issues...
I've been rather loyal to wiggle over the past 5 plus years, truly never had a problem with them. Fast shipping to Canada, great selection of items, and even when I had to contact them the would rectify the matter fast and efficient. BUT... I've recently ordered a few items over the last 4ish months, and things have gone absolutely awry. Most notable was when I bought a pair of fizik shoes and the packaging was terrible and the shoes arrived heavily damaged. Wiggles response: "we will inform our shipping department", along with a $5.00 credit. I told them they can keep the $5.00 bucks, all I want in return was for wiggle to maintain the care attention to shipping items that I had been use to over the past many years. So with that, I let the matter go and gave them another try with an order of bike chains - simple order- how can that be screwed up, right? Items arrived in a box that a five year old could have crafted with copious amounts of tape and scrap pieces of cardboard... but again the tiny plastic packages the chains came in were damaged and upon opening the package the chains were fine (how can you really damage chains tho?)..., but there was also a lonely tiny bag of heavily bruised and battered candy included in the box. Perhaps a nice gesture on wiggles part... but is that even safe to consume? And is that even appropriate? Bottom line - another heavily damaged item due to poor packaging. So. I tossed the bag of candy in the garbage... along with my loyalty to wiggle.
My order has been lost. Despite contacting Wiggle I have had one computer generated response saying there are delays. However the courier shows my parcel out for delivery 3 weeks ago. There is a complete lack of customer service from Wiggle.
