Better than dropshipping
April 19, 2025

Customer with Why Unified from the dropshipping days. I must say, if you have not tried them in a few years, now is the time. DO NOT do dropshipping anywhere else. It is not worth it. I sold airpods years ago, spent money on ads just to sell them, now i just list brands on amazon like downy wipes and make money.

Rating: 1 Star I paid $13,000 to WhyUnified on November 7,2023 for their Amazon Prime Sales Channel program, which came with a money-back guarantee. I also sent an additional $5,000 for inventory, totaling $18,000 invested in their service. I was told that my store would generate $2,000–$3,000 in sales between months 6–8. After a full 12 months, my total sales were only $1,842—barely a fraction of what was promised. Their "automated system" was nothing more than empty hype. Their marketing was slick, but their execution was severely lacking. The contract officially ended on November 7,2024, and I have been requesting a refund ever since—it is now April 2025, and I have been ignored for 5 months. Not only have I not received the promised refund, but they have also failed to return the unused portion of the $5,000 inventory money. What's worse: CEO Robert Nikic and the WhyUnified team refuse to respond to multiple emails or take any responsibility. The guarantees they use to lure small business owners like myself into this program are completely dishonest and manipulative. WhyUnified may look professional on the surface, but once you're in, they under-deliver, stop responding, and keep your money. I will be filing official complaints with: FTC BBB Arizona State Attorney General Amazon, Walmart, eBay As well as sending letters to major media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, NYT, USA Today, LA Times, Entrepreneur, and The Washington Post WhyUnified is not a business partner. It's a calculated trap.
Avoid them at all costs.

Maybe this helps someone
April 18, 2025

Alright so i wasn't even planning to post anything about this but figured maybe it'd help someone who's in the same boat i was in. I've tried 4 different ecommerce platforms over the last couple years. All of them pretty much led to me wasting time, money, and a ridiculous amount of energy. So when i came across this one (why unified), i kinda laughed it off at first. Figured it was just another slick sales page and a bunch of fluff. But ngl, the convo i had with the rep was actually pretty chill. Like... for once it didn't feel like someone reading a script. They weren't throwing numbers in my face or telling me i'd be rich in 30 days. They just asked about my background and gave it to me straight. I chose amazon to start because i had a bit of experience there—not a pro or anything, but i at least knew the basics. First month went surprisingly well, like ~$4k in sales, which is wild considering how burnt out i was. Next couple months started doubling up slowly. It's not perfect, and i'm not gonna act like it's magic. But compared to the BS i dealt with before, this feels... real? Like there's actually something solid behind it.

When I first signed up, I honestly thought things would move a little faster. Maybe I just had unrealistic expectations, but looking back now, I wish someone had told me how much my existing Amazon account history would affect the process. My account had some small dings from years back, nothing major, just a couple late shipments and one flagged listing, but apparently, that still counts. And it slowed everything down. I thought I could just plug in, get things running, and start seeing consistent orders. That definitely wasn't the case. For the first month or so, I felt like I was just... waiting. Watching. Hoping the system would kick in. There were a couple small orders here and there, but nothing regular. I actually reached out to ask if this was normal, and they explained that accounts with flags or issues take longer to "warm up" and get consistent sales flowing. Makes sense now, but I really wish I had known up front. If I'd been told, I probably would have just opened a new seller account and saved myself the delay. That being said, I'm now about three months in, and I'm finally seeing daily sales. Nothing mind-blowing yet, but I've gone from seeing a random order every few days to now having steady flow. That small change — like, waking up and seeing 3-4 sales consistently, makes a huge mental difference. It finally feels like things are working. One thing I'll give credit for: the products being listed on my store are actually things people buy. I've sold through other methods before, mostly dropshipping, and it was always this cycle of pushing random gadgets or trending junk that no one really needed. This time, the stuff is recognizable. It's stuff you'd find in someone's kitchen or bathroom or pantry. I think that's made a big difference with reviews and refunds too. So far I've only had two refund requests in three months, which is way lower than what I was used to before. Shipping has been solid too, which I honestly wasn't expecting. Fulfillment was one of my big concerns early on because I didn't want to deal with anything manually. But every order has shipped out without me needing to touch anything. That's a massive relief. It really is hands-off in that sense, which was what I was hoping for when I signed up. Still, I do wish I had more visibility into how things are being packed or how the customer receives their order. That kind of info would be helpful in the long run, especially if I want to grow this into a bigger brand. The other part I've noticed is that support is responsive, but not always immediate. I've had a couple cases where I asked something and it took 2-3 days to get an answer. Not a huge deal, but if you're someone who wants same-day help or you're used to having someone jump on the phone, it might be a bit frustrating. I did learn to just keep my questions straightforward and avoid long emails, and that's helped get quicker replies. There's also this weird middle ground where you know there's a strategy behind everything, but not all of it is explained in detail. I'm someone who likes to understand the "why" behind things — like why certain products are chosen or why prices are adjusted a certain way. Some of that info just isn't shared openly. I get that not everyone wants to be involved in those decisions, but I personally would like a little more transparency. At the same time, I can't really argue with the fact that things are working now. I'm seeing progress. Sales are picking up. And I haven't had to touch inventory, deal with returns, or worry about suppliers ghosting me like in the past. That part alone is worth a lot to me. The platform isn't perfect, and I definitely hit some snags early on. But once the ball gets rolling, it does what it says, it brings in orders, and it takes care of the backend stuff without you having to babysit it. If you're someone coming in with a clean seller account and decent patience, I think the experience would probably be a lot smoother than mine. I had to learn that the hard way. So, overall? I'm cautiously optimistic. It took longer than I expected, and I probably could've avoided that if I'd known more upfront. But I'm not chasing trends anymore. I'm not spending nights trying to write product descriptions or testing ad campaigns that flop. I'm just letting the system do its thing, and slowly but surely, it's starting to pay off. If you're on the fence and your account's in good standing, I'd say it's worth a shot. Just know it's not a magic switch. Give it time, expect a ramp-up, and be ready for a bit of silence at first. That was the toughest part for me, the waiting. But now that I'm past that phase, I'm actually excited to see where this can go over the next few months.

Better now than before for sure
April 17, 2025

When I first started, I really didn't know what to expect and honestly, I was skeptical. I've seen a lot of overpromised stuff online. But after sticking with it for a few months, I started to realize that most of the learning curve wasn't on their end, it was on mine. My account was brand new, and I didn't know the ins and outs of how things work on Amazon or Walmart. I had to put in time, stack up inventory, and actually understand the space.

First month in, and I made $4,432 in sales. I couldn't believe it. That was already half of what I invested in the plan, so I felt like, okay, maybe this is actually going somewhere. I didn't even have my own product listings at first I was just sharing them with other sellers, which I didn't expect to work at all, but I still got sales. Only thing was, it kinda hit a ceiling. It felt like there was a cap on how much I could make while sharing listings with others.

So, I upgraded and added the Buy Box so I could have my own dedicated product listings. That was another big step because now I actually control the pricing and don't have to fight with other sellers. I'm really looking forward to seeing how that plays out, and then, eventually, I want to try Amazon Prime. I see other sellers doing Prime and making way more, so that's my next goal.

One thing I will say is the support has been really solid. It doesn't feel like some generic customer service where they just copy-paste answers. They actually help you based on your store and where you're at. I had a ton of questions in the beginning, and they walked me through everything without making me feel dumb for not knowing how Amazon works.

I won't pretend it's been all smooth sailing. It's still a learning curve, and there were moments when I was frustrated, especially with things like waiting for approvals or figuring out which upgrades were worth it. But at the end of the day, making $4,432 in my first month on Amazon—when I had zero experience before tells me I made the right choice.

Now, it's just about scaling and seeing where it can go. If you're on the fence like I was, I'd say give it a shot, but don't expect magic overnight. Just follow the process, ask questions, and keep reinvesting. That's what I'm doing, and so far, it's working out.

Yes, I can recommend Why Unified. I started this online business with my wife and it has been how the sales man described it. I am unclear sometimes about what support is trying to say and I do not know if it is because I am a newbie or because it is a language barrier. My online account shows me everything and they do it all for me. 5 stars for Why Unified. Thank you Kevin for helping us get started with our business.

Crediting Why Unified for my store's success. It's more than a store, it's a business. It works, it really does. They do hype it up, and I feel like it hurts them more than it helps. But I paid $14k for the store plan and made $29k to this day. Got the review request and wanted to give credit where it is deserved. Kevin was my sales rep, fast talking guy but cool guy that pulled though on what he said.

I would recommend
February 28, 2025

Started a store for my son as a graduation gift. But yeah, not gonna act like it was perfect. There were headaches. Sometimes it felt like things moved slow, customer support took a while to get back, and it wasn't as "hands off" as I originally thought. You still gotta check in, make sure stuff is running smooth, ask questions when needed. If you go in thinking you just pay and never have to lift a finger, you'll prob be disappointed.

Would I do it again? Yeah, prob. Watching my son go from struggling to actually making money was worth it. But if I could do it over, I'd go in with more patience and lower expectations that everything would be instant. It worked out, but there were def moments where I was pulling my hair out.

I hit a huge roadblock. I wanted to use my own Walmart seller account, but they told me I couldn't. They made it sound like it wasn't a big deal, but it was frustrating because I had already set up everything in my name. Instead, I had to use my husband's Walmart account, which made everything take longer since we had to update all the info. That part definitely annoyed me, but I figured I'd roll with it since I had already committed.

The first month was slow. I won't lie—I was getting really nervous. Sales were trickling in, but nowhere near what I expected. I kept emailing support, and they reassured me that it takes time, but it felt like they were just telling me what I wanted to hear. Around the end of the first month, things started picking up, and by month two, I actually saw real profits coming in. By month three, I was making enough to see why people were saying it was worth it. It was definitely a process, but in hindsight, it wasn't that different from when I first started my own stores in the past—it just took time for the system to work.

Decided to go all in on Amazon last year and, man, it was rough. My store was up for five months, barely making any sales. It was frustrating as hell because I kept hearing about people making crazy money with FBA, but for me, it just wasn't working.

I was already using Why Unified at this point, and to be honest, I was pretty skeptical. They made it sound like you'd be rolling in cash fast, but after a few months, I wasn't seeing much. Complained a bunch, sent emails, even left some bad reviews online (lol). Eventually, someone from management reached out and said they'd help me out. They gave me the Buy Box for free and threw in Amazon Ads at no cost. I had no idea what the Buy Box really was at the time, but once I got it, sales finally started happening. I wasn't making thousands overnight, but it was the first time I saw real, steady movement.

Things kept improving, and they even extended my subscription for free, which honestly made me feel better about sticking with them. Over time, I learned that this stuff takes longer than they say. The whole "profitable in X months" thing is kinda misleading because Amazon doesn't just throw you on the front page. It's more like a slow build-up, and I wish they were clearer about that. But once I got past that mindset and just let it run, it actually started working.

After Amazon got stable, I added Walmart as another channel. Took another minute to see traction, but eventually, it helped balance things out. I'm not quitting my job anytime soon, but for once, I actually have an eCommerce business that isn't just a money pit. There's still some stuff I don't love—support is slow at times, and I hate how they auto-renew without much warning. But overall, it worked for me. Just don't expect overnight success, and you'll probably be alright.

Me and my business partner tried selling on Walmart before but we always got denied with the products that we wanted to sell or we would start selling and then they would get taken down. The biggesst asset Why Unified has is the approval to sell the products in the first place. This is where we are getting value for our money.

No results with amazon
February 28, 2025

I did not see any results with Amazon in my first month but credit to Why Unified, after I added Prime and Buy Box, it got much better. Advice for everyone is to add Amazon + Buy Box. It gives you your own listings for all products they assign to you. They offer it at the start but I thought it was a up-sell.

Just added buy box to my plan
February 27, 2025

I am not sure if this review request is for the entire service or just buy box that i recently purchased. But I have zero input to share about buy box because I just went ahead and added it to the plan last night. The reason I am adding it is because after 3 months my sales slowed down in the last two weeks and it was suggested to me. As a whole, Why Unified is doing great but I am a bit concerned about the slow down and I hope that the buy box feature helps like they say it will.

Second store
February 27, 2025

Took some time to learn about starting a store and spoke with the sales team. Jose is awesome and layed everything down for me. I'm thinking about opening up a pet store on amazon and walmart next week. Just wanted to give application for Jose for spending two hours with me and explaining in great detail how it would work if i opened a second store. I already have one which has been doing good.
