Quick parts id--had reservations about ordering an aftermarket part---CDI regulator vs Mercury OEM but $100 savings persuaded me. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I wrote the above when placing the order. Crossed fingers was not enough...the CDI regulator was delivered with instructions NOT to use with AGM or maintenance free batteries...Not a good policy for this century.
Tech support line and customer service line were both helpful, supportive and efficient. I ordered an OEM regulator with a factory superceded part number. More expensive but should do the job.
Did not have a Mercury oil I use and a 3M cleaning product I wanted to use.
Beat Amazon on Price and Shipping. Heck ya!
