This is a SCAM WEBSITE! I ordered about 400 bucks worth of merchandise and they promised to ship it out within 2 days! Mr oder was placed at the beginning of feb and now its already in the middle of march and still no sign of my order or even a tracking number! LIARS! LIARS! LIARS!

Every time I tried to use their online support chat to ask for a refund or for proof of shipment, they would give me silly excuses like 'oh its the holidays here my dear' or 'we will ship tomorrow my dear' or 'we are custom making your order my dear'!

TERRIBLE COMPANY! DO NOT USE!

Yes their clothes are cheap and I wasn't expecting anything amazing but that does not mean they should sell clothes that are not even fit for wearing.

I bought some items from www.wholesale-dress.net about three weeks ago now. I spent a good $118 with them. The clothes in the pictures looked great and some of the items I bought weren't even that cheap. So I selected and I paid only to find out that about 60% of my items were not in stock. I had to literally bend over backwards and dispute with PayPal to get a refund for the items which they didn't have in stock. Instead they wanted me to select alternatives. I was well within my right to receive my money back for items that did not exist in the first place.

Thats not the end of it. The items which were in stock came in the post a week or so later. All except one item (which I didn't even order) were faulty. Ripping on one dress (looked as if it had already been used), stitchings coming undone (as if they were made by child labour), a belt that was falling to pieces and looked used as well as missing buttons and button holes which were too small to even fit buttons in.

These clothes were not only faulty but they were not as pictured in the images on the website. I now understand that these images were taken from Korean and Japanese websites. False advertising is wrong. Selling damaged and used goods unless stated is wrong.

I have disputed and they refuse to answer me correctly. They offered me a refund but didn't give it to me. Then I received an email stating that the refund they offered was a mistake and that I was not entitled to my money back. Not entitled to my rights as an online consumer for a refund? I own an online shop, I have to follow regulations, I know the law.

After opening a PayPal dispute they said that if I closed the dispute I would get my money back. Lies... They decided to change their minds.

I tried to get names out of these people but all refused to give me real names.

I am constantly ignored on their 'chat'.

These guys are scammers so watch out. They will send you faulty/damaged goods, they will send you items that you didn't even ask for, they will ignore you.

BE CAREFUL! Go to legitimate Korean and Japanese websites such as GMarket in Korea. The clothes are also still cheap but far better quality and are not fake copies of what they advertise.

I am still battling with these people for my money back for damaged goods. I am yet to hear back from someone with a real name who actually makes sense.

I learnt my lesson. I hope you never have to go through this ordeal too! Please I advise everyone to go to GMarket instead.

This website is fine (at least for lingere/costumes) as long as you know what you're getting into:
-They sell cheap Chinese knock-offs. Materials aren't always exact.
-You get what you pay for, both in terms of quality and service.
-Not everything you get will be good.
-The quality of goods is what you'd find in a nightmarket or chinatown. They won't last that long.
-Clothing is in Asian sizes: smaller then you're used to and inconsistent both between identical items and across different items.
-They don't really communicate. Items not in stock will be removed from your order, and you'll be awarded a site-credit (which can be refunded if you can explain it to them, apparently).
-"Free size" is not one size fits all. It's XS-S in western terms.
-Buying from this website is gambling. They aggregate clothes from other companies and do no QC themselves.
-I think the negative reviews are from people with overly high expectations. If it's too good to be true, it's not.
-Shipping prices are high. They sell you the expensive express shipping (they claim without markup)... but it is quite express. If you're not happy with shipping charges from Asia, shop on dealextreme.com where they bake it into the price.

So... with that in mind, why would *anyone* shop there? Because they have a crazy selection and are very cheap at the end of the day.

I was happy with 80% of my items, and would gamble again.

Here's my experience:

I discovered this site after using a www.tineye.com image search on some eBay items, eventually finding the matching item for a lot less money.

I was absolutely blown away by the sheer volume of lingerie and costumes on this site, and eventually settled on 120$ of merchandise.

That's when I ran into the piles of negative reviews, and unsatisfied customers. I learned that wholesale-dress.net makes cheap Chinese sweat-shop labor knock-offs of nice looking stock photos from Japan/Korea. On the other hand was a wordpress blog, http://roilas.wordpress.com/, which is clear astroturfing - fake consumer review / advertising.

So I was worried, and tried to find my items on different sites. I couldn't - they either wouldn't ship to USA, had minimum quantity requirements, or lacked my items of interest. Reviews on other asian wholesalers are similarly dismal. I finally decided to gamble, threw in my order, and hoped for the best.

My parcel surprised me at my door within a week of entering my order. I had no idea it had shipped. The shipping was very high, but since it was express UPS didn't charge brokerage fees for clearing customs - usually 20$ according to the deliveryman.

My order was short two items, and I had been site-credited full price and a reasonable amount of shipping - I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that. I was mostly quite happy with my items.

Out of 16 items, I had 3 items that were either significantly not as described or had noticeable production issues/poor workmanship. I'm not sure if it's worth trying to get a refund or credit on 20$ of items. It may not be worth the effort; Chinese stores generally don't accept returns for any reason. Unlike in the West prices of goods are not inflated to cover the cost of returns, so you're dealing with a fundamentally different cultural mentality when you start such discussions.

Overall, I'm very happy with what I got.

Stones on the top turned out to be yellow and red. The cutting of the whole dress is different. The top layer of dress is white, created 2 different tones on the dress. They delayed this order for more than 3 weeks because they are out of stock but NEVER informed me. No one knows what was going on with the order. Very disorganized and unprofessional!

Moreover, they shipped a wrong item to me so I requested a replacement free of charge. They requested me to order MORE and pay for the shipping, they will only include the item in my new order. Unbelievable. The only other option was $4 USD discount for future order. $4USD discount on a over $250 USD order is ridiculous!

Besides, they don't allow you to leave negetive reviews on the site. NEVER able to get through! WHAT A SCAMMER!

THIS SITE IS HORRIBLE. The pictures on the site is totally deceiving and they are so shady its unbelievable. I always review their products after i receive them because i know it would be helpful the the people that are interested in that particular item. The first time i ordered from them i left both negative and positive comments depending on the item i received and they deleted ALL of the negative comments. And responded to the positive ones... the second time i ordered from them they did the same exact thing (surprise, surprise) I just thought that was unbelievably shady and disrespectful to the consumer... like seriously shouldn't the consumer have to right to know what they are getting?
I like that they have a large selection of clothes and that the styles are up-to-date at (seemingly) extremely low prices... On the downside, the charge up the you know what for shipping which averages out your total to be much higher. To make it even worse they b. S all the weight for the clothes so you get charged even more for shipping.
Yes, I have to admit i have been pretty satisfied with certain items i got from them; but i've noticed that every time i order at least 50% of the items just has horrible quality, ill fitting or just completely different from the item pictured.
Bottom line, ordering from wholesale dress is a gamble. You may be lucky and find yourself a few good wardrobe pieces or just hitting yourself in the face because you just ordered a whole bunch of rags that you will never wear. Oh yeah, and don't even plan on sharing your opinions because quite frankly they just don't care what you have to say; unless its a compliment of course..

The only thing that I like about this site was the selection of clothing and the prices I didn't even mind the really expansive shipping. The thing that you have to be worried about would be if you need any support there is none and if you don't get something in your order they don't care and there support won't help you so whatever you paid for the product you won't get back or refunded. Also they like to have things go "out of stock" in your order which has happened to me more than once and they only give you a credit for the item and a minimal of what you paid for the shipping back not even the full amount. Just be leery about that if you don't mind losing money than you should be okay with ordering with them.

First, I'm very interested with massive options in this website. When I search the website, they are not updated the product info, they still put a lot of out of stock items in their list. The service is quite well though, they're answering quickly and explaining briefly. I finally decide to bought 7 items, but it needs a longgggg day to prepare, 10 days after, they finished preparing then shipped my order with a wrong shipping method. I ask for FedEx but they shipped with EMS Express, which cost more expensive (do EMS Express more expensive than FedEx?)
They said, they did it purposefully, because they're afraid that the custom will tax the item if it was shipped by FedEx (which unbelievable excuse because the total weight is only 1.5kg), but they didn't ask me before they changed the shipping method (and cost me for more 6 USD).
Then they said one of the item is out of stock, after the shipping. Why don't they told me before 10 days, such wasting time, I can easily change with another item and shipped it right away.
Anyway this EMS Express needs 6-10 days to arrive to my country with 6 USD higher cost, but my choice: FedEx needs only 3-5 days to arrive (half time needed, but cheaper). My buyer is asking for their order that I order from this website.
It made a bad reputation for my business.
And the last thing that make me upset is they change the payment date detail in my account in their website. I made the payment at Oct 3,2010, they change it and become Oct 13,2010. So it seems that it's took a long time to deliver because I made a late payment too. Well, I hope the clothes are in good shape, I can just wait and see.
I certainly will not buy items from this website anymore.

After reading above most negative reviews about this website, I really very much surprised, cos my experience is a little bit different, you know, shopping on wholesale-dress was my first online shopping experience, I originally had no confidience about online store, that time i was so attracted by the incredible low price and amazing massive styles of clothing which made me wanna get them all at once, I contact their online customer service, they patiently answer all my qustions, feel very grateful and my dealing was very quick and fluent. Finally i paid $45.68 to buy nearly 20 item, so easy! I chosen ups and waited for almost 9 days to get my parcle, though it's worth it. So excited to open my parcle, to my surprise, the quality is not that bad, even better than i thought cos i always believe you get what you pay for. But this time, I was satisfied, the design, quality, price, service.
I know their stock status is changing frequently, so it is normal if several items out of stock, it is understable and acceptable. Acutally, there was stain in one of my white dress, i washed it and the stain gone. The most important is the clothing, i love them. Maybe i will buy from there again. Anyway, my experience on this website is full of joy, Different people ask for different quality and service standard. For me, i like wholesale-dress.net.

This site is the worst out of all online businesses I have been dealing with.
I always had faulty items with them, but my last purchase was the worst ever.
Out of 24 items I have purchased 4 have been faulty and 2 have been missing.
I have send 14 emails requesting their address so I could return the faulty items to them for a refund, with no success. They do not provide they address. Instead they talk me into placing a new order with them in which they have promised to put the 2 missing dresses. I have place a new order with them as I had $40 credit in my account which they do not return back to you.
But... they forgot to put these 2 missing dresses in my new parcel, and now I have got $50 credit in my account as some of the items I have ordered are out of stock at the moment.
And they are trying to talk me into ordering a new parcel.
This time I said: enough is enough and I am determened to get my $50 back, as it is my money.
Please be worned not to do business with this company, as you will never get your money back, and you will never be able to return the faulty items.
I understand that they are wholesale business and I do not expect 100%good quality, but good items out of 26 - it is very poor, and the service is even worse.

There are some very good businesses that I have been dealing with: causewaymall, asia-dress-wholesale, that I will continue to do business with.

Agree. Don't Buy from Wholesale-Dress.Net. OMG I wished that I read the reviews before I bought any items from W-D. *Experiences are not Free*

I have ordered 15 items from W-D (17.09.2010). Paid (17.09.2010)- Prepared - Shipped out (20.09.2010). I was shocked because 2 of my orders were OOS and they didn't inform me before they shipped it out.

When I received it, more shocked (>.<) I ordered 5 pcs of dress, same model and colour. Horrendous knitting quality. Even signs of food stains, Chocolate Cake. Not only that, my other orders, 3 pcs of dress, same style and colours, faced the same thing. Horrendous knitting quality. And many more, same problem with my others orders.

After that, I gave them my reviews to all of my order item. You know what, just now I have checked it and they have deleted it. O no. Hopefully that other buyers did not fell into their trap. (>.<)

The shipping cost is worse. They charged me for 6kg, when I received it from UPS, it's only 2.1kg. Arghhh. (T. T)

I don't know why everyone is so upset about the site... ive ordered like 20 pieces of clothing for myself and for my brother and they turned out just fine. Took long to prepare, but i think its understandable considering their massive stock? The quality is soso, but really? What are u guys complaining about? It cost like 5$ a piece! Ive worn several of my dresses and get lots of compliments on them.
I was so excited when i found the site, b/c i had been buying some of stuff on ebay for double the price (and even then i thought it was a bargain).
But yeah, i won't disagree on the overcharge on the shipping... its not a surprise tho, seeing how dirt cheap their clothes is.

They always keep saying still in process. In preparing. After 2 weeks juz tell me some of my order are out of stock and asking me for replacement soon, and i reply it by the day. Then tommorow i am asking again when my order can send out, they also still say its preparing for your replacement... so it will take time to prepare for the replacement... what a $#*!. The answer almost the same. Its make me CRAZY. All my customer are asking about their stuff. They already think i am fake reseller... O MY GOD... why i order with this STUPID MESSY DUMP $#*! WEBSITE...

I like to give the benefit of the doubt to people/businesses, so i have tried to work with them more than just the once. The clothing is horrible and not at all like the picture. The aftersales team will send you a million different responses asking you to take pictures, asking you to take a small % credit, asking you to forgive them and never EVER offering a fair solution. Your order WILL have problems, the clothing will be torn, damaged, and hideous and the shipping cost will make your jaw drop. They stopped replying to me after i was extremely diligent trying to solve the many problems with my order. They also delete bad reviews on their site when you try to warn customers that the clothing is not at all like the pictures. I can't wait for them to get removed from the web.
