Weather.com has become oh so slow, And I mean slow, even on my super fast internet
Click on it then go do something else while it loads. Wonder how much they had to pay the web designer to screw it up this bad.
Should be ashamed of their product. It's entirely not useful.
In this day and age it's totally fixable and avoidable. Grade school children could develop a better site. So frustrating.
This used to be a great website but now I can't manage my locations, I can't change the city from where I used to live to where I now live. It's a shame that such a useful website is so lousy. Jobs should be lost for the terrible work that is being done.
Horribly slow. Feels like 1990's dialup. Unusable and a shame. Other sites run scripts and ads, must be some old crap they are running. Best option is local news.
The website continually crashes due to long running scripts. Too many ads...
The website continually crashes due to long running scripts and then it defaults to someplace I've never searched (Washington DC). I'm not sure that its not trying to hack into computers while its crashed.
Checked their website yesterday for the weather in Ohio this week... Not a drop of rain in the forecast. Yet, it's been raining for 12 hours non-stop! Get your act together or you will lose your few remaining fans. It used to be a reliable source for the weather report, but I can't rely on it anymore.
This used to be my go to website for weather information. Now it is slow, quirky, full of ads and who knows what else. Would never recommend this site to anyone.
This was "The Site" I would swear by, if others said they referenced other weather apps, I said nothing beats weather.com. Now, every app beats weather.com.
It's completely unusable on Edge and IE11. I got it to quite spinning and show me some weather in 5-10 minutes on Firefox.
I check in to weather.com a couple times a month, thinking that the online store-front of a great organization like the Weather Channel has GOT to get better... but, not so far. Sooooooooooooo Slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.Back to weatherbug!
A large ad now covers 1/4 of the page. Very slow loading. Takes for ever to load if you change zip to see weather in another area. Website is no longer worth the trouble.
I want the weather, not the worlds best irrelevant everything. Too many ads and way to slow to even wait any longer. As shame, as IBM is simply tarnishing its reputation as a source of intelligent information.
This site has become AWFUL and unusable. It is nothing, but ads, extremely slow and the hourly doesn't seem to work anymore.
This site used to be my go to. Not anymore.
This site used to be great. I would think updates would make a website better. Their updates have done just the opposite. It's terrible! The ads popping up are absolutely ridiculous! Navigation is nearly impossible. It's a headache to stick with it so I'm no longer going to even try this website. I'm looking for a better alternative right now.
Weather channel use to be my "go to" but I've finally given up today! There were so many ads that for over 5 minutes I could not even get to the ACTUAL WEATHER. ADS KEPT POPPING UP! I do not go to weather channel for news! Frustrated, disgusted with wasting my time and from now on will go to local news website.
Totally aggravating. Just look at the negative reviews, can't find anything positive. Worst website I have ever seen!
Slow... very slow... very aggravating just trying to find city. Slow... very slow... very aggravating just trying to find city. Slow... very slow... very aggravating just trying to find city.
It doesn't switch between Today-5 days-10 days. It's slow and non reactive to the user's input, probably because loading ton of ads on background
"Weather Channel not responding due to slow running Script"!? As of about a month ago I get this ALL the time when I try to Refresh the page to update it. I have Windows 7 with IE11 as my browser and I typically have as many as 6 browser windows open at any given time and The Weather Channel site is the Only one that gives me FITS to the point that I have to at time close it and reopen it. What ever is running in the background on The Weather Channel site also seems to interfere with the other open browsers as well to the point that at times I have close it and restart it. The problem is getting Worse Not better! I have to run an Add blocker Just to get it to load in a reasonable amount of time which means that as of about 9 months ago I can No Longer watch any of the videos on the site unless I turn it off and even then it's an Absolute Nightmare just to get through two or three videos as they take FOREVER to load and move from one to the next! SLOW, SLOW, SLOW! To ALL of YOU at The Weather Channel in control of programing and the functional workings of this site I say 'Get Your Heads Out Of You Proverbial's' and fix it before you self destruct! You Are No Fun Anymore! I AM looking for other options.
Answer: Won't get any better. They now force you to turn off your ad blocker or you can't use the site. Move on!
Answer: That's not a question.
