Everything is "IMPENDING DOOM" on its main page, or about how 500 people were killed in some sort of flood that happened in Indonesia. I understand if 500 people died, thats tragic, but everything is so sensationalist it becomes a click bait website trying to get people to click on every article about death and destruction. I can tolerate it, but what I cannot stand is how SLOW and mismanaged this site is, hard to use, terrible UI and overall cluttered mess. How does the domain weather.com have such a bad upkeep?
They did something to their website. It use to be my "go to" but now moves so slow - takes forever to load the page. Forget about trying to load the radar.
Please fix it www.weather.com. I use to LOVE your page - now it is not useful at all.
Weather.com has gone to the dumps and no longer is useful. Site is poorly managed and completely dysfunctional. Time to say good by and make a change
It is just the worst website in the world, and imagine, it is owned & powered by IBM. No wonder they continue to lose revenue every quarter, and have for years. YEARS! Because of this nonsense. Turn in the website domain name to someone who cares. Google? Interested? Maybe Amazon? At least their servers work. I have never seen anything like this - ever!
This has to be the slowest website ever made. It's horrible. The radar part isn't worth clicking on because it will never load.
Since they changed their layout slow loading, takes forever and they should have followed the saying "if it isn't broken, don't fix it"... bye-bye weather.com. Changing to a better weather avenue.
Takes forever to load in google, and longer with firefox.
Switched to AccuWeather. Not as complete but at least I can get what I want when

It used to be great to get on the weather.com website and get quick and current weather. I even used to enjoy the photo essays. But about a couple of months ago, things went bad, just like everyone else reports, it slowed to being pretty useless. It even locks up my computer occasionally and I have a fiber connection and run Win10, so not my hardware or connection. Time for a reset.
I love how basic functionality takes 20 seconds to actually work. The page will "load" and you can see the weather, but try to click on a specific day for more details won't do anything until whatever background loaded stuff completes loading. This site used to be great, but now it's making checking the weather a time consuming ordeal. They need to go back to what they used to do best: show the weather, not push stupid puff piece videos in your face at every turn.
Worse weather site, either on computer or mobile, when it comes to speed. I liked Weather.com for it's relative accuracy, but I don't have time to sit and wait, and constantly get redirected. Very disappointed.
I have used this site from time to time and it is by far the slowest site that I browse. I typically wait for the site to load, and by that time I already have picked up my phone on my desk and got the latest weather map.
Didn't think it could get worse. I was wrong. Takes forever to load the info you want, but those ads load in an instant. Seriously stay away, don't even waste your time.

And to be clear - It's not the ads that are ruining the site. It's the developer! There's ways to have advertising and moving parts to your website without it being a sloth. You'd thing that they could afford a more functional site.
The maps don't load, ads are out of control, site throwing certificate errors! Get rid of so many dang ads and maybe your page will load. Totally useless site!
If you like to be driven absolutely nuts, by all means go to the video section and watch the same GD commercial for every video you view!

With the "new" weather in motion map, this site is now useless. Between the ads, the videos that the websites forces you to look at and now the crappy map, I can no longer use this site for real-time weather information. Even with a fast PC and the best internet connection, it takes upwards of a minute to get the page to load completely. Even then, I still need to wait while the weather data is updated. I've tried this on several different browsers: Firefox, IE, Chrome and all have the same result.

Come on! I wait for it to load on the main page then when I click on 10 day forecast i'd jump over to another page while it spins spins spins. Stupid page,,, they force you to sit there and watch it load or it won't! Any recommendations for another site other then national weather service ( I don't like their site)
This site frequently won't even load up at all! And when it does, it often won't open the item that I click on, such as "hourly". I do love the video clips, but I liked it better when they showed strips of them on the front page, with category headers. Now I have to hunt for them, and after watching one, I have to go refresh the browser and search for the next one anew. I would love their photo contests, but they compress them so much that it's actually painful to look at the lo-res photos. I like that they give the dew point though. This has the potential to be the best weather site on the internet; I don't know why they can't find a website builder that can fix these problems once and for all, and create a website that is easy to navigate and does everything it's supposed to do. These problems have been ongoing for YEARS!
Slow buggy crap. I used to rely on weather.com not any morel its slow buggy and full of garbage. It stalls constantly.
It's a terrible time wasting website. Used to be so informative, now it's just annoying.
The weather app is not much better.
