Purchased bathroom mirror from Wayfair, I LOVE them --they sent HANDY.COM to my home to hang the mirrors. Handy did a botch job and I had to spend $930 to correct their botched job. After trying to reach out to Handy to no avail, the Executive Offices at Wayfair got involved and stayed with me all the way to the end --5.75 months later I was reimbursed. Andy in the executive offices is a saint! I cannot say enough wonderful things about him and the way Wayfair stands by what they offer/sell/provide. Love WAYFAIR hate Handy.com never use HANDY.COM!
Wayfair may ship for free, but are they getting kickbacks on the RIP OFF return rates? $130 to return $40 item?
Do yourself a favour and just go directly to the actual product suppliers website. Cut out Wayfair as the middleman. Save some $ and annoyance by avoiding them.
No good. Don't trust them. I should have read the reviews first. I have been lied to by three different people in this process which has the delivery extended out well over a 2 month. Now they will not cancel & refund. I have to go through my credit card even though I was warned by wayfair if I contest the charge they will drag their feet on the refund & I will have to wait 90 days.
I would buy just about everything here and there's times I would have to return things especially when you buy a lot of stuff. The customer service is no longer good it used to be the best now if you try and return something they tell you that they're gonna put you into a return resolution team and they will get back to you within 5 days so so far it's been around 20 days so they don't want to take back what I want to return. I shopped here because I loved the customer service and the ability to return what I'm not satisfied with. Which isn't much. So BEWARE!
Bought platform bed with 2 draws in November. Slats so thin and cheap including "feet" that sit on floor. My daughter was sound asleep and the whole bed collapsed in trapping her head between the collapsed mattress and the headboard. Upon review the slats broke. The pegs that sit on the floor all cracked and broke. We weigh no more than 150 lbs. This is full size platform ADULT bed with 2 end draws cost 450.00. Wayfair will not do return so bed lasted approx. 30 days and I'm out 450.00. They should not be selling such poor quality that can cause injury. I will pursue this with my State Attorney General.
I ordered a sectional sofa from Wayfair. They were completely deceptive in their description and photos. They totally left out the part that the seating measurements were taken from the BACK of the cushion as opposed to the the front. I am a small framed person and I can not lay on my back on the seating area without my body hanging 2/3 the way off. Also there is NO CUSHION on he seat so it is completely uncomfortable. They say they have "just what you need" In my opinion they have just what you need if you need to waste money on phoney furniture. I ordered an item that I had a safety concern about and they could have cared less. For me to return, they were deducting 1/3 of the cost for shipping! And good luck getting through to a live person to talk to reason with. Terrible customer service unless you are buying something!
Items come broken or they'll send wrong color or wrong item and then they charge you shipping to return the damaged or incorrect item that they sent. Customer service offers zero solutions. Horrible, horrible, horrible!
I'm just discovering why Amazon is so much more popular to order from than Wayfair. Never had to try to cancel an order from Wayfair before, but now that I have it's a nightmare. They originally stated the furniture I ordered would be delivered within 3 days and the expert assembler would be here the 4th day. Then I got notice the item wouldn't arrive until the 4th day and the assembly wouldn't happen for almost another week. I had to look around again for something that would come and be together sooner, in the original timeframe. Once I found it, I checked the order on Wayfair to be sure it hadn't ship yet. Since it hadn't I put in to cancel the order. Now I get notice they won't cancel the order and it will be up to me to take this heavy furniture to FedEx for the return and I'll be charged almost $80 for it. If they don't come around and take this back or stop the shipment without the hassle and charge to us, I will no longer even consider ordering from Wayfair. It's not our fault They changed the dates on us.
This companies customer service is in the Philippines. This should have alerted me. No wonder they advertise much. They don't deserve the one star I gave them They don't live up to anything they promise and I wouldn't treat a pet snake way I was treated. Should be called Waysmear. Actually they are really bad. Being worse than Walmart is the pits! And I haven't not will I ever set foot in Walmart again. Don't waste your time!
Wayfair (and it's 3rd party delivery service Updike) will not bring your delivery inside or even TO THE FRONT DOOR (item was bought by dad who selected outside door drop off- however the item was dropped off in our driveway, blocking our vehicle, and NOT brought to the door at all), and will not come help you if you call, but WILL process a return and take the item back- EVEN IF you explain that you're 38 weeks pregnant
Wayfair is frustratingly terrible.
Ordered a cabinet and was promptly sent the item in the wrong color. Called up Wayfair to return/replace it and they said "no problem, just upload pics and we'll get it taken care of right away." I uploaded the requested pics and thought to myself how easy and quick this mistake was going to be fixed.
NOPE. The resolution center never replied to my email so, I called them and they apologized and said they were sending me a replacement immediately - they even gave a delivery date. Did I get it replaced?
NOPE. Delivery date came and went with no replacement. However, I *did* get an email offering me 20% off if I kept the wrong item they sent. I call Wayfair up to see why I got this email and not the replacement.
They tell me that this is in the hands of the resolution center and they can't help. I ask to speak to someone at the resolution center and am told that the resolution center doesn't take calls and only communicates via email. Note that the last time I emailed them (with the pics) I got NO response.
So, here I am nearly 3 weeks after receiving the wrong item and Wayfair has constantly lied about the status of my issue, or at the very least done everything they can to delay or otherwise prevent this from being resolved.
Bottom line, Wayfair is not to be trusted.
They might get you the right item but, if they don't prepare for a frustrating, time-consuming, Kafka-esque experience which may never resolve.
Worse customer service ever, they are selling damaged and defective item
Try to steal your money giving you a hard time for refund your money back.

I bought a $250 Christmas decoration. The original and two replacements were received in damaged condition. See three pics. In each case, I gave them immediate feedback and sought resolution. After the third unit was received broken, they informed me my resolution window had closed and that I should deal with the manufacturer. I have no way to reach the manufacturer. Plus, it was not a warranty issue. They kept my money and told me "too bad". This is shameful. You should not do business with this company.
I ordered a washer and dryer for $838 as it was advertised online they only tried to deliver the dryer alone! I refused and they charged me 200! I have the pics to show where it states they are shipping 2 items!
I was redoing my bathroom. Ordered a vanity from WF. They sent one that was too big, not size ordered. Called, they said it would be picked up. 1 year later I donated it. Lost $1300.00. Wayfair sucks!
I order 3 folding tables from Wayfair, they all arrived damaged. The told me to dispose of them and sent me 3 new tables, the next 3 tables arrived also damaged. Broken beyond use, as they are plastic with sharp broken edges. They sent me a third set of 3 tables, and gave me a 10% credit, and assured me that the new shipment would be packaged with extra packing materials, it was not, all 3 tables arrived damaged. Now they are refusing to refund me until they get approval from the third party vendor they used. They have put in 2 tickets with no response from the other company, so they ate just holding my funds at this point. These tables are 75 pounds each, I am 60 with a bad back, and they somehow expect me to rebox them and have Fedex pick them back up. Fedex does not do the boxing. I am beyond disgusted with this company, they took my money not the third party vendor, they are legally obligated to refund me for defective merchandise. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, this company needs to be shut down, they are just peddling cheap $#*! Chinese $#*!.
I had few items in my cart not to buy just looking and thinking about these items. Not ready to purchase after few days I decided to purchase one of the items on my cart so I clicked on that one item. But Wayfair charge me for all. When I realized what happened right away I cancelled. Now it's pending and I have to wait for it to arrive and then return them one by one. I don't know what kind of business they're doing. But it's really confusing and waist of time.I would not shop from Wayfair again. No wonder they have 1.6 rating. Please do your research before you buy anything from Wayfair.
Beware, Wayfair charges for shipping when you return a product. The fridge we bought was too high and would not fit. The dimensions they showed online were wrong. Yet they are charging us $80 to return it! Asked them to waive the fee as it is THEIR mistake. Waiting since yesterday for a supervisor to call us back. THIS IS NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
