Ordered a wool rug a little over a week ago and has gone from the $399.00 to $349.00 to $319 today. All in one week. We made a call to the company and all they could say was we do not price match. My husband just opened a business account as was going to order his office furniture from Wayfair. I just told him I would divorce him if he buys anything from them. Have been a long time prime member of Amazon and they have always made any mistakes or loses right. BEWARE of Wayfair!
I am not happy with business prices. Its worst price if you planning to do business with them. Some time its same price for regular customers and sometime 10- 50 $ discount only..
I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because Wayfair themselves have fulfilled the package properly. Unfortunately, they've made the mistake of doing business with Purolator and forced that carrier upon us for our order. This is a message to Wayfair management. If you're serious about e-commerce and customer experience, do not ever use Purolator. They do not understand B2C and are 20 years behind in residential shipping practices. I advise anyone to steer clear of Wayfair.ca as long as they are forcing Purolator on their customers. Otherwise, I'm sure they're great.
I love Wayfair, what I buy is exactly what the site shows, no differentiating from photos.
I want to buy a power lift chair for my mom and all of a sudden recliners are not shipped to Canada off the Canadian site.

Terrible…. I just received an hour ago a damaged safe in 2 places, I paid Wayfair $100 for it, and when I called to tell them of the issue and figure out a return/refund the lady rudely told me my account has been closed and I am stuck with the damaged item. I just spent $3500 at Wayfair for my office furniture without returning it and spent $2500 buying a bed and dresser from them, without returning it. The girl acted as if I was committing fraud for not wanting a damaged safe for $100 and told me I should buy locally from now on and simply said my account is closed and Wayfair no longer wants my business. Wow!
They will no give you the current sale price on an item you ordered and has yet to be delivered. Absolute robbery!
I'm disabled and paid extra for wayfair to have my sofa bed delivered to my apartment unfortunately it didn't fit at the door so it was returned. I found another sofa bed at Wayfair website which will fit perfectly this time and offered to pay extra to have the bed delivered to my apartment however, when l called customer service, l was told l have to cancel the sofa bed l have chosen so that the sales department can look for another bed for me which will meet their delivery requirements. Why can't l choose what l want since I'm paying- it's not free! The excuse is that UPS will not deliver to my apartment door and only freight delivery ( which I'm not eligible for due to the size of my sofa bed) can bring my sofa bed to my door. Both the customer service rep and her supervisor kept repeating the above policy over and over again without offering any concrete solution. The supervisor was unprofessional and rude. I'm not sure an abled person can carry a sofa bed up an elevator by themselves let alone a disabled person like myself. I was really disappointed that no provision whatsoever can be made even when l was ready to pay extra to have the sofa bed delivered to my apartment.
I am really disappointed that a big company like wayfair that advertises free delivery have nothing to offer customers and disabled people for that matter! My advise is not to bother buying from wayfair due to their poor customer service, delivery and unfriendly policies.
C'est très dispendieux pour un délais de livraison médiocre. Pour le prix qu'on paye, on s'imagine que c'est en express. Gosse déception. I ordered a patio set (two chairs, a table) that had removable and washable cushion covers and the cushions could be secured to the chairs. Received cushions that had no removable covers and they could not be secured. Outdoor furniture with no removable covers (white!) and non-secured cushions? Repeated emails went unanswered. In addition, their communications on the delivery were misleading, wrong and infrequent. NEVER AGAIN!
If you compare US pricing to the same product in Canadian pricing the price doubles, triples, quadruples… the exchange rate is currently 0.79, how these prices are established makes no since.
I would recommend searching for the same product as I have found it for much less at Canadian tire
They put inaccurate delivery dates on the website to pull you in, the offer no assistance nor any discounts when it is their fault. A good business practice is to know to keep and satisfy your customer at all cost so they will give you a good review and return. I wont be doing either
The site said my items would come by July 16 but after the confirmation email came, it said the items would arrive July 20 (after I was to go away). I cancelled the order immediately but the next day, they said they couldn't do so because the items were preparing to ship (that is WAY too fast). No cancellation, so I have to risk the items arriving when I'm on vacation when no one can pick them up.
Also, they only use couriers and not the postal service (the only service acceptable to me).
I think this company's whole business model is to attract consumers with their low prices and other promotional offers (with me it was a promotional cash back through my Amex card) and then sell them low-quality crap (pictures on website deceive and make things look less cheap) or furniture with missing parts.
My big beef is a book shelf I ordered through them. When I received it, the box was ripped open and a piece was missing. I assembled it sans the missing piece and requested replacement part from them. I was very clear what piece was missing and obviously they knew what model bookshelf I ordered (the replacement part request was connected to the initial order; their online system is actually top notch). It was annoying to have to wait a few extra weeks till I have a functioning bookshelf but oh well.
Finally get the piece and unpackage it and what do I find? Completely the wrong piece (looks like it was for a smaller model bookshelf) and in white. If a customer has a problem, some mistake was made or whatever, you'd think they'd take more care and ensure the problem gets fixed right. Now, instead, I'm here writing this review.
I seriously seriously think that repeat business isn't in this company's business plan. They have good online marketing and a slick order system and probably are profitable enough just in suckering first-time purchasers into buying from them. I've otherwise only heard bad things from other people about Wayfair.
The prices are too good to be true. Don't bother.
N item I have ordered for the price of $83 have not received yet then it is discounted on your website for $65 so called to get price adjustment only to be told that the company does not have a policy for price guarantee! On the american website it mentioned price guarantee within 7 days of ordering ( I was 6 days post ordering). So I am completely dissatisfied and will never deal with Wayfair Canada anymore and will write the truth about what happened with me on all social media websites so people are aware of this deceptive tactics. The first item I ordered was received so badly damaged Wayfair told me to just throw it away. They could not replace the item as it was now out of stock. The second item I ordered was suppose to be INSTOCK. However, after ordering I received a NEW delivery date that was 2 and 1/2 months away. Worst company I have ever dealt with. I will be blocking all emails from them.
Nice products... pleasant customer service... easy online purchasing... issue is that you have to pay the shipping charge PLUS an addition shipping fee WTF!
First time buyer so I purchased a small item to see how things would go... spent $50.00 didn't like it so I returned it and was giving a refund for $36.00... never will I purchase from Wayfair again

We thought we would have a metal roof ten by ten gazebo but after repeated calls we would get the 1700 hundred total dollar ca unit with crew we hire as seniors to install get message sorry units cancelled now stuck with no roof that they did not supply that was paid for in full out of blue sorry cancelled we still owe the installers over 600 hundred and have no roof but now low and behold that exact same unit is being sold for 2200 hundred what a terrible thing they did to customers never again should people trust these folks no shame could not wait from Friday until Sunday to have the offer for the exact unit they cancelled on us
I use to love wayfair and had purchased a few things from them! Over the years ive noticed 3 things:
1- when you write a product revièw if its really bad it doesnt get posted.
2- they truelý are over priced! I dare you to find something on way fair and google that exact product 95 percent of the time you can find it cheaper else where
3- they falsely advertise. Type in google
What your looking for and they will claim everytime its on sale
For these reasons im no longer a fan of shopping there
Ordered a bean bag chair and Fedex and wayfair kept telling me 2 different things about the shipping problems cuz wayfair put the wrong address in even tho i had it right in their website. Even Fedex told me that they have 5 more shipment from wayfair they're having trouble with. I got really sick of waiting so i asked for a refund and wayfair customer service told me i have to pay extra to send it back so i got even more pissed and had to get aggressive and that is only when they took me seriously and said they won't charge me for the first time... YOU HAVE TO GET AGGRESSIVE FOR THEM TO TAKE YOU SERIOUSLY. Said they can only refund me when they get the bean bag back which i guess i dont mind waiting for. Few weeks after i asked for a refund, fedex kept calling me saying that the shipper wayfair demands it to be sent to the buyer, me... In conclusion Wayfair won't take you seriously. So i suggest looking for anything you want somewhere else. TRUST.
Very sad when you place a 700.00 order get conformation it's been sent, dosent arrive. Even while tracking. Call the phone number and the gal says ohhh so sorry I refund you your money. Boom done. Not satisfied at all, why didn't my order come? Who knows and obviously who cares. Just like all the big store companies I'm just another victim
