This company took my money I have paperwork saying that the transaction was declined by them. They have lied about paying it back within a certain time frame and extended that time frame to Christmas Day. It's the worst case scenario. I told them I am literally freezing and was up till midnight watching the clock and checking the account for my money to be credited like they said it would,, so I could go buy fuel for my heater. When it never posted they said they noted the account and I should hear something in two or more business days. The decision to give me my money back was made several days ago but they can't get it together to send my little $37.62 knowing I am without heat until they give me the last money from my checking account. I strongly advise you put your money elsewhere because when you need it the absolute most, they will not even do as they say even if it means adhering to there own time limits.

I requested a new card as mine was close to expiring on 11.13.23 and have not received my replacement card as of 12.16.23 and no one can. Tell me why. I'm reporting them to the BBB & going to get a attorney. I want my money that's on my card.

Mobile Banking Feature

I've been a card holder for some years now with direct deposits totaling over six thousand monthly but today when I checked in around the mobile banking feature I had not known about. The response was "we're sorry, but your account does not show sufficient history for us to process your deposit. Please continue to use you account and try again in 30 days." Now I been with Walmart money card for over two-years with regular direct deposits and they do not consider that as history. In freaking credible! I've had it with Walmart Money Card! They know God dammed well I have sufficient history with them. Their aim is to deliver piss poor service. Why they let you languish on customer service lines for hours on end. $#*! you Walmart Money Card.

Beware of this card

I had a debit card voided transaction, I called both places,my Walmart card said it would be back on my card by the 22 and nothing. I called back only to be transferred to another department asking for all this personal information, please go with a local bank seeing all these call centers are not in the United States, Walmart should be ashamed of themselves

I had a issue with my card and i called and got hung up on 4 times on purpose, i will no longer use they services. I had them for years and it gets worse and worse. No one speaks good English and they nver even try to help me i have to figure it out. I would not recommend theses services to anyone

Been using walmart cards for over 10 years since they have moved there service overseas I have had money missing and charges on my card from Asia India etc put money in there savings volt and they took $360.00 then blocked the account where my direct deposit is being returned never use there cards

Worst bank ever!

Well it's the worst bank ever like the title says because I opened an account with and not even a full month after there was a charge on my account for 500 bucks that I didn't make. So they closed my account after I told them not to because I had something that had to be paid or would get repossessed. Needless to say my house got repossessed because they wouldn't give me the money out of my account so I could pay my Bill's or even eat. They said the only way was for them to write a check for my 4000 dollars and send it possibly taking 3 weeks to get it. So hopefully everyone reads this and no one else signs up for walmart moneycard and everyone that has one should drop them because if you're there long enough they will screw you out of money too

Slowly, money has been drained from my account. Small amounts of money here and there. I've been keeping track of it as well as taking photos.
Walmart has charged me multiple times for trying to get my money back. And it was there fault my money is coming up missing off of my account. This last time, $29.48 came up missing off of my account. They apologize, and they took notice that money was slowly disappearing. And they said that they were going to do something about it. This has been going on for the last month. So far, they have found almost 60 dollars, disappeared off of my account and went absolutely nowhere. Do not use the Walmart money card. Whoever is in control of this is slowly taking small amounts of money from people like us who get our paychecks deposited here and we don't notice it. I promise somebody's getting very rich scamming from so many people. There's going to be a class action lawsuit. And I promise I will get in on this.

Supposed to get a new card in the mail. That was 15 days ago, meanwhile they're saying it should be there. What mail you know takes 15 days? Call and call and call and get put on hold, transfered or just hung up on. Zero stars. Should be out of business

I had a deposit of 723 dollars I went to check my balance and I only had 227 dollars I tried to check my account and it was blocked I probably called a dozen times being hung up on or just plain discontented they about the 7 time calling my card was deactivated so now I don't know were my money went or what happened.if you call again they just hang up. DON'T GET THIS CARD THERE CORKED

I have over $10,500 on this card and can't access it or get it refunded to me. I have been a victim of identity theft! I have called and called and all I get is put on hold for hours. They closed my account, but are still taking out the monthly fee. Very unethical! I can't get any help, and don't know what else to do. I need my money back! Does anyone know how to handle this problem? They make you rate this company, but it should be minus star rating!

They lie about early direct deposit, and state you will receive your funds two days early. This is a falsehood. They need to be dued for false advertising.

Big Mistake

I should have NEVER gotten a Walmart Debit Card. I loaded some money onto it and later that day I wanted to purchase some water filters. The transaction was declined. I called, got transferred, disconnected after being on hold 12 minutes. Called back, same thing happened. Called back, it happened again! The 4th time I called back, had to explain the problem for the 4th time. I was put on hold, complete silence, no music. Fourteen minutes later the Rep tells me she has to escalate this to another team for approval and for me to try the transaction again in an hour! How in the world do they think they can just keep my money hostage? I'm going to get every penny off of that card and cut it into little pieces!

I ordered my card on August 12th because i was being charged for stuff while i was at work. That night when i got home i called and reported it which was only around 20dollars. Well they said they sent a card out i waited 10days called back, then i was told they was sorry system was down they was sending one expedited give it 3 to 5 days. Called back every 3 to 5 days since. Its now Saturday September 23rd they have 1700 dollars of mine and I still dont have my card or any access to my money. They are rude when i call,tell me to be patient,there is nothing they can do. They are not helpful at all. Im still waiting on my card. No 1 will help me. Bills are due. I have the money to pay them but green dot bank will not give me my money or send my card.

Scam

Had a monrycard for a few years. Recently discovered that a few online order transactions that were cancelled disappeared from my app and the money that was placed on hold pending transaction was never put back into my available balance. I've discovered this has happened at least 3 times in the past few months. Spoke with customer service several times and was told once that it was being processed (7 days later) and again told by a different customer service representative 'sorry, we are working on a glitch in the system and it should be available later today'. Ultimately, I never got my money back from and the transaction evidence conveniently disappeared from transaction history. SCAM
