I am sharing my recent experience with Walmart because I believe other customers should be aware of what happened and take extra care when receiving their orders. Within a very short period of time, I experienced multiple order issues involving both delivery and warehouse fulfillment. While Walmart ultimately provided refunds in some cases, my primary concern is not the refund itself but the apparent lack of investigation into the root causes of these problems. One issue involved a package that was marked as delivered by the carrier, yet no package was received. The shipment required signature confirmation, but no signature or delivery evidence was ever provided to me. Initially, I was told that delivery had been confirmed. However, when I requested documentation or proof supporting that conclusion, none was provided. The matter was eventually resolved with a refund, but I was left wondering what investigation had actually taken place before the original conclusion was reached. More concerning were several warehouse fulfillment errors that occurred shortly afterward. In multiple orders, the items received did not match what was ordered. I carefully documented the issues with photographs, videos, shipping labels, and box measurements. For example, one order was supposed to contain two large gaming laptops. The package I received was physically too small to contain two laptops of the dimensions listed on the product specifications. Another order involved a laptop that could not have fit inside the box dimensions shown on the package received. These were not minor discrepancies but situations where the measurements themselves raised serious questions about the fulfillment process. I repeatedly provided this evidence to customer service and asked that it be reviewed as part of a meaningful investigation. Unfortunately, I often felt that the information was not carefully reviewed. In several responses, it appeared that evidence from different orders may have been mixed together or misunderstood. I was also repeatedly encouraged to dispute the charges with my bank, which I did not believe was an appropriate solution when the issues appeared to originate from Walmart's fulfillment or delivery process. As a customer, my expectation is simple: either deliver the correct item and quantity ordered or issue a refund when that does not happen. Walmart did eventually resolve some of the financial losses, but refunds alone do not address the underlying causes of repeated fulfillment and delivery problems. What concerns me most is the pattern. Mistakes can happen in any business. However, when multiple fulfillment and delivery issues occur within a short timeframe, customers deserve confidence that the company is thoroughly reviewing what went wrong and taking steps to prevent similar incidents from happening again. I am posting this review not because of a single mistake, but because of the overall experience. I encourage customers to keep detailed records, photograph packages upon arrival, save shipping labels, and document any discrepancies immediately. Those records were essential in demonstrating the issues I encountered. I hope Walmart will continue improving its fulfillment processes and customer service investigations so that future customers do not have to spend significant time and effort proving what should have been obvious from the evidence provided.

Consideration For Allergies Needed Walmart needs to tell their delivery drivers not to use Febreeze, air freshener, essential oils, perfumes or fragrances in the delivery vehicles. 15 to 20% of the population is allergic to those. Website Issues I made a large order on their website but did not complete it. I thought it would be there later. About a month later, it wasn't there. They just wiped it out instead of saving it for you like most companies would. They should leave uncompleted orders for 5 years. After that, if it's gone, you can't blame them. Walmart has a lot of unusual sign in problems and problems putting through orders that other companies don't have. If you want to clear your cart, they don't have a way to do that for most customers. I'm not sure they want negative reviews of items. I'm not sure that those appear as often as they should. I remember struggling to get that through and then just deciding that it wasn't worth it and I might be drawing negative attention in some way. I was somehow unable to really access their customer service chat a number of times. The process started talking to a bot but then it would say that they couldn't help me and I had to call the phone number. Customer service chat should have been open at that time. Are humans no longer available by chat? If so, tell us. Shady Third Party Sellers The third parties that they sell things from are not all legitimate. I only want to know what's in stock at my local Walmart. If I try selecting that option it keeps slipping back to including items that are not in stock in the local Walmart. Counterfeit and Defective Items It looks like Walmart is knowingly selling counterfeit brand name items. There are also a lot of defective items. Their store brands are often chintzy or defective and are blocking brand name items that could be in the store. Some of the brand name items they're supposed to carry are always out of stock forcing, you to buy a defective Walmart brand item or go without. Bags Too Small The teeny paper sacks annoying everybody.

I advise everybody against purchasing online from WALMART. It is a very disappointing experience if anything goes wrong, which was our case. The very expensive Christmas tree that we ordered was nothing like shown on the website. It was under a 30 days free return policy. It arrived 4 days later than it should have, and as soon as we opened it, we found the color to be completely off and ugly and also apparently shorter. Walmart put us in contact with the seller, when the description of the item stated that Walmart ITSELF handles the returns. We had to order another Christmas Tree (from Amazon) and both the seller and Walmart refuse to honor the 30 days return policy. I REQUEST a full refund immediately. WALMART: I do not have to deal with your sellers, your are not eBAY, I shop from you because of guarantees. This seller has nearly 50% dissatisfaction rates depending on the website, and you chose to lose your customers, rather than kick off the seller or force them to honor the return policy that YOU offer on your website? I will never shop with you again, 20 years after I AM DONE.

Come to Walmart where you don't get a credit card for a refund unless you ask for it! In the Kahlui-Kona Walmart, I returned items and expected a receipt. I was wrong. The agent gave me a Walmart credit card for the items that I had used the card. However, she did not give me the credit card receipt which showed the amount of the refund to my card. When I asked for a receipt, she spoke to another agent. After I received the receipt, I asked her why I had to ask for the receipt. She told me that THAT'S HOW THE SYSTEM DOES IT. So beware the Walmart in Kahlui-Kona. If you don't ask for your credit card receipt, you'll never get it. If you don't get the receipt, how will you reconcile your monthly statement? Only 30% of Americans reconcile their monthly statement. I find overcharge errors at least three times a year!

Order at your own risk, knowing that if anything goes wrong, Walmart will put the onus on YOU to fix their mistake. Defective photo album, with pages being cut beyond the expected margins on almost every page? Expect to call Walmart, be told to return to the store, call Walmart busy customer service line again from the store so they can speak from YOUR phone call to their store rep, and only after the store rep confirms the item is actually defective, will Walmart accept to reprint the order. And you better believe they will REFUSE to have the new order mailed to your house (which is the bare minimum at this point to avoid inconveniencing the paying customer after they printed a DEFECTIVE product to). No... Walmart will say there's nothing they can do, the apologetic customer service rep will say they know it's not enough, they will say they can't do better, and they will say you need to go back to the store a third time to pick up what you can only hope will be a better print. MEDIOCRE PRODUCT AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. You're better off going to a competitor! I know I will!

In early December, I ordered a gift card online for my grandfather. Although I wasn't given a tracking number, Wal-Mart estimated that my grandfather should receive the gift card between the 16th and the 21st. The 21st came and went - no gift card.

I held out for another couple days and called on the 23rd. First, the customer service phone number is somewhat difficult to find on the Wal-Mart website. I should be able to click on one link from the main page and find it. Second, once you actually call the line, there's always a recording warning of high call volumes. The menu options go on and on before you're even given the opportunity to talk to a real person.

All right, so, customer service told me that, even though the card hadn't arrived, I should expect delays and call back on the 24th if the card still hasn't arrived. I called back on the 24th and the customer service agent told me that he couldn't help me with an exchange or a cancellation because the gift card had shipped. After prodding, he gave me the billing department phone number. Closed for the holidays, of course. So, I emailed. Still waiting on that one.

After the holidays, I called again. Finally got into contact with someone who seemed a little more sympathetic and she said that she'd send my problem to billing. Billing would re-issue the gift card and I would get an email within three business days letting me know the outcome of the inquiry. Still waiting on that email, too.

I called today and, after waiting a very long time while the customer service agent spoke to billing herself, was informed that someone stole the card and has spent it already, so Wal-Mart would not be able to issue me a refund. But, hey, I can contest the charges with my bank and Wal-Mart would probably approve it.

I'm not mad that Wal-Mart didn't send the gift card with a tracking number, even though they should have. I'm not mad that Wal-Mart's policy with a stolen gift card forces the customer to do all the leg work. I'm mad that nobody before today bothered to check with billing to even see if the gift card had been used. I'm mad that everyone gave me the run around, asking me to call back another day or talk to someone else. They all passed the buck and only TODAY, over 30 days after I ordered the card, did one of the agents actually investigate the issue, only for me to be told that there wasn't much that they could do for me. I received no apologies, no concessions - nothing. No one cared. No one even contacted me when they should have.

Never again, Wal-Mart.

Ordered two pedimeters
November 20, 2010

Ordered two pedimeters. Could not have it delivered to my home. They were sent instead to a nearby Walmart. Purchase information indicated it would take up to a week for delivery. In fact they were delivered the next day. Did not receive a call from Walmart. Called Walmart and was informed the order had not arrived. Later I learned they had been returned because they were not picked up. I checked and a refund was issued to my credit card. I saved myself further headache by purchasing the same items from Amazon.com with free shipping. Walmart needs to work harder at being customer friendly.

If you take advantage of the site-to-store shipping option, sometimes you can get things even cheaper than you'd find them in your local Wal-Mart.

They refused to me post it, I tried accumalative 17 times in 6 months.

I always get bad service at their stores but I do love their prices. I figured I'd try the website instead. Their customer service was poor here too. I guess you get what you pay for!

This is a pretty good site
February 25, 2010

This is a pretty good site. I've ordered things before and there were never any delivery problems or problems with my items. Everything ran smoothly and arrived on time.

A small annoyance though. If you're Googling items and you find it on some price comparison, best deal type 3rd party sites, you might find they've listed a sale price for the item with a link to Walmart and the price may have changed. Walmart does not have to honor 3rd party site price quotes so if you find it more expensive when you are directed to the Walmart site, then there's not much you can do because the other sites don't always take the sales ad/link off the site in time. Of course the 3rd party site is at fault there and not Walmart.

OK for starters it's Walmart
February 22, 2010

OK for starters it's Walmart. Love it or hate it Walmart has been proven to be one of the best business ventures ever. Sam Walton laid the foundation for a great company. How did this get better? Using the internet on Walmart.com.

On Walmart online you can purchase items, have them delivered either to your house or they offer a great service called site to store. Site to store ships your order to your local Walmart and you simply pick it up at there site to store department. SImple and easy.

I purchased a large amount of my Black Friday deals right online with Walmart.com. As many shoppers were fighting the crowd, I was using my wonderful computer to purchase great items online. It was a win win.

You can also use Walmart online to see if your local Walmart has a certain type of merchandise. Find it online and see if that item might be available at your Walmart.

Shopping at Walmart has become even easier and less stressful using there website. If you are like me, you will like it.

Stay AWAY from Walmart Tire Center ******* Cortez Brooksville Florida - Update Feb-13-09 -> Walmart never refunded my money for tires they destroyed. Even after going to claims department, they still insist they did nothing wrong. I guess destroying tires is normal? If you want to suffer loss and pay for it yourself, WALMART TIRE CENTER IN BROOKSVILLE, ******* CORTEZ, Is the place to go!

Got a bad experience with walmart? Dump it here on this thread, and let it out.

I recently visited walmart here on cortez, or sr50 in brooksville to have four tires mounted, and balanced. They destroyed one tire on the mounting system and tried to play it off like it was there when I brought it in and they weren't responsible for it while trying to push tires.

We couldn't put back on the old tires, because the technician said the old tire he took off of the rim was damaged due to driving with no air pressure and would loose air pressure so it could not be put back on, basically leaving us no choice but to buy tires.

The original tire was indeed driven with no air pressure, and was serviced at the same walmart and released back to us and they said everything was fine. So we then find out today they didnt' properly check the tire before and that we had been driving on a damaged tire that was not suitable for road use.

They then changed the files in the computer system and deleted the fact we had been in there recently to have that same tire worked on and it was released. So not only did they ruin one new tire, they failed to check the previous tires accurately before and covered up the fact they did so. They printed out new receipts of the previous time we had been there according to date and there was no info but "Canceled" all over it. Lucky we still have the old receipts.

After walmart showed us the damaged tire, they then said you can buy new ones over there and pointed to the tire rack. I asked to see the video tapes and they said I couldn't b/c I'm not an attorney or a police officer. They then destroyed a SECOND TIRE to prove to me their point of the tires being damaged and showed me a second smaller gash in the sidewall.

So I am left with unsafe tires, and two new ruined tires that I have to pay for out of my pocket to replace. Oh yes and missing rear valve stem covers and caps.

After all this, they also lost my chrome valve stem cover and caps and would not replace them. I am not happy and I have written to ripoff report, the state attorneys office, and walmart district management. I have been had and I suggest you stay away from the walmart tire center here unless you want to have your vehicles damaged or get treated badly. F-

This fails in soooo many ways...

Tires were Bridgestone Potenza... not exactly cheap stuff
