Compressor failed 7 times. VW refuse to repair.

I own a VW Amarok.
My compressor on the air-conditioner has failed 7 times. The compressor lasts months before seizing. After failing for the seventh time VW refuse to repair stating that as it is a claim on a warranty claim, original warranty has expired. My issue is that problem has never been resolved. 7 fricken times the compressor has failed!
