What a bunch of garbage.
There has got to be more information than what these guys sent me. A total waste of $10. My odometer on this truck is over 153,000. They say the last report is in the 23,500 range. I have had reportable accidents with this truck, I have had speeding tickets, I have had the dealership rebuild the transmission at 36,000, I have had it inspected every year since I had got it in 2008. What a messed up system these guys have! I put 1 star and say I would like to rate them a negative 2 stars.
This service is incredibly useful for anyone buying a used car. I can't believe they are providing the information for free! I highly recommend this website for anyone in the market for a used vehicle.
I've used this site several times and they do not charge anything! You will seldom find a company who offer their service 100% free so I am very amazed with VInCheck.info!
Be careful with this site, it belongs to the famous cheater Jesse Willms. Just type in google this name and you will find a lot of information about his actions. He never does anything for free. Read the privacy policy, he can sell the data you entered to anyone and you will be pursued by annoying sellers.
If you want to know a used car's vehicle history for free, VinCheck.info can give you the details about accidents, liens, safety ratings, specifications, and others you need. It's like a free carfax report but without having to pay for anything.
Answer: Yes, you can run a VIN check and download the "title history report". This page lists all the states where the vehicle has been registered - past and present.
Answer: Yes, VinAudit.com is another great option for vehicle history.
Answer: This is an absolutely free VIN check service! I’m thrilled that there are still companies providing valuable information for free.
Answer: VinCheck.info is a legitimate service — it is not a scam. Here's how it works and why people sometimes get confused: What VinCheck.info is: A real vehicle history report service that provides free NMVTIS‑based reports. Users can run up to 5 free vehicle reports per account. Reports include title information, salvage data, and other records submitted to the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS). What VinCheck.info is not It is not a paid $1 trial service. It does not contact buyers/sellers or sell leads. Why people sometimes think it's a scam Some third‑party sites with similar names sell paid reports or subscriptions — those are not VinCheck.info. Unscrupulous sites may mimic our branding or charge fees; charges from those services don't come from VinCheck.info. Vehicle history data (especially older or unregistered vehicles) may be limited in NMVTIS, so reports can seem sparse compared with paid providers like Carfax — but that's a data source difference, not a scam. How to verify you're using the real service Always check the website URL Look for reports explicitly labeled NMVTIS Our support email is [email protected] If you have questions or need help confirming a report, feel free to reach out to support — they're available to assist.
