Well I Wasn't sure at first, It actually charges through all the batteries. It brings each one back up to maximum working level. I thought the batteries were pretty good until this Charger Told me different. The technology is amazing. You should be able to Leave it plug in. I'm going to try that and I will update my opinion. I would recommend us to anyone that has my application. It has 8 batteries 48V.
