I signed for a 30 day trial. I never received log in credentials although I wrote several emails to the company. They gave me access after the 30 days. I wrote to the company to cancel service immediately. They never respond to emails. This service is useless. I finally was able to speak to a man who was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was condescending and verbally abusive. This company is a scam and they should be reported to the authorities. I am now disputing all the charges they have done on my credit card.
Stay away! They have an awful tech experience requiring you to use outdated tech for their platform on a mac. As a 40 yr. Old tech worker i found it impossible to figure out how to actually get logged into the platform. After an hour I gave up and went to cancel. Been waiting on hold for over 60 minutes.
Clearly a platform company on the decline - STAY AWAY!
This an excellent platform that provides strong tools with daily commentary to support your trading success. They post an excellent weekday post market update with analysis of the days events and the impact on the market and the timing and direction of the market. If you follow the market commentary you will optimize your ability to get in to the market and when to get out. I have been a member for 8-9 years and taught some classes and attended an excellent member group whose objective was to answer questions and train individuals to learn how to optimize the platform and build effective strategies. The best charting system I have seen. I will say I have been trading and investing for 40 years and wish I would have had this system my entire career as an investor. I have had a very successful investing career but it has become even better with the Vector Vest Platform.
Lost almost 10 k with their suggestions! Cancelled on phone with the guy named Chris on April 22nd within trial period but, still charged $137 for next month. NO confirmation email sent by him. Extremely long wait time 30 min.

Tried the service for 2 months, not very good at all especially the derby, the guys don't have good suggestions, and the trading styles are not effective. Others in the derby also commented on it not being effective as noted by the fact that the narrator even read it to the group. Called and canceled effective the end of the month and they still billed me an extra month and refused to refund the extra billed amount of 167.00 dollars. You can get all of their features in the Think or swim platform except the derby and robo trader, so not really worth the investment
They are nasty... they Don't respond to emails. And make it difficult to cancel service within trial period. They also have attitude and hang up real quick.
Called tech support 3 times on three different days, each time i was on hold for more then 90 minutes and then they hangup on me... i am 12 years vectorvest user... no respect to all time customers.
They are the worst tech support i have ever experience
It seems OK but way out of time with the real markets. During these crazy market swings I found it way behind the curve. On APril 6 the Down exploded and Vectorvest saif Hold or Sell on almost everything. I did not follow their guide and bought 800 shares of MSFT and sold that afternoon and made $9152. If I had followed Vectorvest I would have missed out on that and more. It does not react to market changes fast enough. So, not for me.
Computer Program works most of the time. Support is spotty at best and the support group at VectorVest rarely answers email except for an automated email that tells you they will respond - which they don't. Phone support is best to use but be careful of who answers the phone. Some people are absolutely GREAT - other people are a total waste of time. They are ALWAYS trying to sell more courses no matter if needed or not!
I did not find that this program integrates well with other trading tools. I never used the trading information. Trying to cancel the subscription was difficult and costly. First, you are put on hold for 15 minutes. Next, they want to offer you training. Next, they offer you discounts for other Vector Vest products. Why would anyone subscribe to other products when you didn't like the original? Finally, they renewed my subscription for another month and they do not offer refunds. Unless you really know and like this platform... stay away
I signed up to the trial, didn't find much use for the service, emailed them several times asking to disconnect before the end of the trial but they ignored my requests and charged me $289 anyhow.
Companies with a service that has real value don't act this way.
I love the opinion I get from their tools. For the money, its a great "big Brother" to have in making a decision. I read the negs above and hope they have changed their exit fine print. I am glad to have app - for sure.
There is too much hype surrounding how it can pinpoint market tops and bottoms. It is a good piece of software and it can work, but its just to damn expensive. In this day and age these guys need to understand that competition is just around the corner. The profit factor on this must be close to 500%. I am sure they could very easily offer this program for 19.99 a month
I took a course and was told there was a money back guarantee. Never told I had to claim it before the course was even finished! How can I know if something works until I get to try it out? So I did not receive my refund and it took them 5 months to come up with this conclusion! Very unimpressed. No refund, no credit to account, no honour on the money back guarantee! Very expensive course. Do not recommend.
I just received my Visa bill to find I was charged $895 for an annual renewal. I stopped using Vectorvest 7 months ago because it did not meet my needs. Upon calling Customer Service, they said I agreed to auto renewal in the sign up process a year ago. I said I would expect a notice before they would auto renew something so expensive. They said they are not obligated to provide notice. Customer Service said they would prorate a refund with an additional 4% fee. Since the Visa posting process creates a delay, the bill for the prorated time and the 4% penalty amounts to $185. This is a complete rip off for something that I have not used for months nor found very helpful.
May as well just write down a bunch of stock symbols on the wall and throw darts at it... you will prob get better results than the vector system. Its nothing more than a glorified, highly marketed machine that spits out nonsense information which anyone can do the same BUT you can do it on your own for free! Lol no need to pay money for this kind of useless stuff, it will only make you lose money in the end.
You can do better with free sites like bigcharts.com ro stockcharts.com. But you will need to put some elbow gease and brush up on your technical analysis
It's not bad for a paid service, but I feel that price is a bit too high. If the price were better I would probably have left 4 stars. To their credit they offer a trial so you have the chance to test it out
I have learned a lot using the VectorVest system. Customer support was helpful guiding me on how to use the various indicators.
On a whim vector vest charged me after I called several times as it did not work.
Vector Vest on a whim charged my American express for nothing. Nightmare
After talking to several employees that I did not want Vector Vest to get a credit!
I am almost seventy years old and never had a good company try to keep a customer happy.
