I ordered a book on December 15th. Over the next week, I checked order status daily and everything looked as normal. Until the day before Christmas, the status changed to "cancelled".

I never recieved any sort of notification telling me the order wasn't coming. They never reimbursed my credit card or shipped a package. I am now without a Christmas present, or the money to buy another.

This site is run by thieves. I will never use this site again.

I started with an order 7 days ago, it was only because I followed up that I found out that my order was cancelled. The CS person was useless. I then ordered the same book again. Same thing happened. Still the CS person was useless and would not put me over to a supervisor. They suggested that I ordered it again, and the same thing happened. Again, the order had a problem, finally ordered it again, wanted a confirmation, was promised one by the CS person, two days pass, no confirmation even though they promised it after one day, then today they said they were working on it and would have an answer by noon, by 2:30 no answer, then finally had a supervisor call me, he was difficult, no acknowledgement that they were at fault and the difficulty they had created, I cancelled the order and found another book exchange. Will never use them again. The response from the company doesn't track with my experience. There was nothing wrong with the information that I entered. The shipping was to my daughter at my address, and the billing was to me at my address (she lives with us). And the CS didn't tell me that this was a problem until we placed the third order, and that order went through even though the information that I put was the same. So to make it sound like it was my error just adds insult to injury.

I am very annoyed with valore books. I had to place the exact same order four times because my orders kept getting cancelled. After the second time, I contacted customer service to ask why, and they didn't know why. After my third cancellation, they were finally able to tell me that it was because my shipping address doesn't match my billing address. It's important to understand that some people receive their mail in one location while residing in another. That's why there's the option of putting in a different billing address. VERY inconvenient for me and all the other students trying to get their items in a timely manner. Just save everybody the hassle and remove the option of putting in a different shipping address. Very unprofessional, valore books. Now I have to drive two and a half hours to pick up my shipment all because I can't have a different shipping address from my billing address. Don't let one bad experience affect millions of people trying to receive their shipments. Let this be the last time I ever order from valore books.
