Bought a bunch of textbooks in "alternate edition" aka international version. Supposedly identical material but for 1/10th the price. Assuming everything comes in as expected, 5 stars hands down. Cheaper than anywhere else online.

I think that this site makes it easy to find the books that I need for affordable prices. And it is one of a few that I use to get the cheapest version of my books for college.
This place will probably kick your college book store's $#*!. Like holy $#*! they have like everything here. So freaking good.
I looked for each textbook I'll need for my classes for this semester and compared prices across sites. I'll be purchasing from several different sites, BUT a majority of my books are from Valore Books, where I was able to save several hundred dollars. For used books that I'm well aware will be in varying conditions, the prices were a steal. Wish I had done my due diligence as a freshman when I ordered textbooks.
I've used ValoreBooks for about a year now for all of my class textbook needs. The service is wonderful and I get my books quickly. I've only had one situation where the book came close to the end of my semester but my professor gave me a chance to make up the work once I received the book. I would highly recommend anyone ValoreBooks versus using the campus library.
And I am not paid to write this, I'm being very serious about how the service is. Please reconsider ValoreBooks as a primary choice for buying books because school libraries and bookstores overcharge for the same exact book!
Rented books ill never use after this class for a fraction of the price in the campus bookstore. If I could get all my books here I would.
I am not a traditional student and the thought of going back to school, buying books and doing homework was a little intimidating. I was very pleased not only with the prices of the books that were offered through Valore but also the condition of the books I received.
I was very pleased with the rental price of the textbook compared to other sites. However, when I got to the checkout page there was no spot to put in a coupon code, so I went back and looked again to see if I missed something and I still did not see anywhere to put a code. So, I put in my shipping and billing info and clicked the proceed button, thinking that maybe I could enter the coupon code at the next page before completing checkout. Nope, it completed the checkout without allowing me anywhere to use a coupon.
My other issue was that on the initial "My Cart" page it said there was no tax. When I clicked checkout it still said there was no tax, but only the price of the book and the shipping cost. However, when I proceeded to complete the checkout process and after they put my card information through, it showed the breakdown of the price and that there was suddenly a purchase tax included, which was clearly $0.00 on the previous two pages.
Had these two issues not occurred then I would have given ValoreBooks 5 stars.
I really love valorebooks, but I wish I could create an account so I wouldn't have to worry about filling out shipping information every time
