I been with VRBO for one year and I can say they have NO RESPECT for home owners. Left them after 1 year.
I switched to vacationhomerentals.com after been harass by a sales rep. And convince me to sign up first with a low rate trial, it went very well so we signed up full membership the PLATIUM one for $799/year, the first platinum year went well lots of requests, lots of booking. So been happy we renew again for another year $799 and then disaster. Once they have you they do not deliver the service they promise and if you call their excuse is all others have the platinum membership...
My house is central Florida, the trial year the one to convince you the house stayed on the first page sometimes second. When we renew with $799 the house stayed the first page, second or third, keep getting requests. With the last renewal big disappointment. Since February the house is most of the time in the back of listing. Every time I tried to locate the listing I cant really find it after viewing 56-57 pages. When I called them the explanation was they all have platinum membership. Ridiculous is that I remarked houses that are always on the first 5-6 pages and mine is no were to be find. Probably those are on the trial offer.

Because of new HA/VEBO service fee, I listed my property on vacationhyomerentals.com. Site worked fine with free trial subscription-lot of inquiries. Paid $269 for year subscription. Now inquiries are not being received or are received in bunches after being sent hours earlier.

After 2 calls to customer service, one in which I was cut off after being on hold 30 minutes, After recalling and waiting 20 minutes, CS made up a ridiculous story the delay was because I sent myself inquiries. I had a friend send an inquiry last night and I haven't received it. Yet.

Emails to customer service are not answered.
