The majority of comments posted here were made after Forum Foundry purchased USMB.
The new (current) admin seemed compassionate and cared about board members in the beginning. After the software change in 2014 concern for productive members of the community disappeared. Mods used to actually interact positively with members when issues arose.

Members previously perma banned for good cause are now allowed back as socks. It's a mockery of the ban system. There is even a perma banned stalking admin who has been allowed back with a sock account. OTOH members get banned for frivolous or personal reasons while communication between admin and banned members is severely lacking.

There are/were rogue mods (not all of them) who stalk and harass members for personal reasons.
Admin knows about these issues but blame is laid on the members, never the mods.

Used to be a great place to hang out, debate, flame, have some fun. Now it just sucks.

This place has serious issues with integrity. Moderators spying on people, banning posters for personal reasons, and allowing sick, disgusting, cyberstalking.

This place is a refugee for bigots of all kinds of isms. The moderation has become a total joke after the board allowed posters to called for the banning of other posters for no reason other than they disliked them. Unfortunately the administration is seems to care about revenues.

It was a good board at one time, perhaps one day it will return to being a good board.

Seems the administration cannot find new mods and just recycles old one who have already proven to be poor mods. One mod has changed his name three times and is still a total $#*! but remodded by the current idiots running the board.

That all these "people" dissing the site may have never been on it or those banned were banned because they violated one or more of the few serious "don'ts" and probably never read the rules.
As any reader can see some claim it's a progressive site, some claim it's far right, some claim it's a racist site. What can I say, everyone has a different opinion and some obviously can't see past their nose and I'm sure some are from other forums... Nuf said there...
It's an open site, very loosely moderated and yes the site does have it resident racists, they have their 1st amendment rights also just as most others that properly put them in their place have also.
No I don't work there, was a mod there many years ago but I have no reason, financial or otherwise to promote the site, if I did it would get 5 stars but as with everything else it could always use some improvement.
Oh and if you plan to sign up it can be rough and tumble, pretty much not a place to go if you're easily offended but there are quiet spots and actual discussion/debate, make up your own minds, don't listen to those who are ultra negative because they couldn't get their way or are paid to put down or build up sites.

I was one of the charter members when this board was founded. I was a friend of the boards creator and it was truly a fun place to chat. Now it is owned and administered by a bunch of blatant, unapologetic, flaming liberals that don't care one bit about their raging obvious liberal bias. If you're a conservative, you will be targeted and banned without notice or reason while the leftists there get a complete pass. The place is now a progressive dump.

I found USMB to be the best place I have found for Constitutional discussions and arguments. The Conservatives there are better at the political arguments; the Liberals are better in the religious discussions on secular reasoning. There are sections just for slamming and taunting, so there is no need to get banned if people stay in the right sections. I think the Mods do a great job, but maybe it's because I don't cause problems for them or other members.

Poorly administered and crawling with stalkers, perverts, psychos and bigots. Including the Administrator. Unsolicited private messages are full of everything from death/rape threats to porn and disgusting propositions. The public board isn't that much better. Forget the preschool level of "discussion" the place is a f***ing open sewer and I'm not sure it's safe. My avira was going nuts with warnings and I had problems with my pc after visiting. Very sorry I tried it. I'll never go back.
