USMB is by far the most broadly tolerant of all the politically oriented message boards I've ever found. While extremely offensive nonsense is not tolerated the moderators on USMB permit the free exercise of opinions and they never impose their authority on participants who maintain reasonable positions. The board is widely versatile and is very well maintained. The negative reviews I've been reading are assuredly written by left-wingers who cannot tolerate the level of freedom of expression permitted by USMB Administrators.

This message board is terrible.Do you want to find threads on climate science denial, evolution denial, and threads claiming vast conspiracies of the world's scientists? Why look in the science section, of course.

If you post a thread in the science section debunking any of that nonsense... it is moved to the conspiracy section within minutes.

Looking for a thread describing a vast conspiracy to hide illegal activity by Democrats? Why, you'll find thousands of them in the politics section.

Looking for a thread vaguely speculating about a cover-up of corruption of the Trump circle? Scroll down and look in the conspiracy section. Even then, that thread has a 50/50 chance of having survived deletion in the first hour.

What is happening here is not necessarily right wing nutballs grooming their little echo chamber, but probably more the idea of site moderation being based on who has given the most money to the site, regarding both users and mods.

Either way, don't waste your time, unless you are an intellectual deviant looking for nodding sycophants. In that case, you will LOVE it, there.

This site is like many "political discussion" forums. They have "rules" but do not enforce them at all against those who have similar and obvious hate-filled and bigoted views. If you enjoy hateful rhetoric this is the site for you. Openly bigoted, misogynistic, racist remarks fly constantly. Attacks on children and victims of crime, as well as personal attacks, occur at all times with zero moderation, as the moderators themselves are responsible for many of these atrocious remarks/comments.

It is not moderation when the moderators choose poster to ban then they start building a case finding "violations" by tracking and following the poster whenever the poster is active.

This the "moderation" that is used at USMB. Its effective for this reason... if you go to the rule page you will note that after each paragraph outlining a specific rule there is this phrase "at the moderators discretion".

It means that even if you in reality broke no rule and you stayed within all posted written guidelines that the moderators can still say you broke rules and guidelines even though objectively it is not so. At their discretion you did break rules.

Go to their Rule page and check whether this is so or not. The Moderators are Uniformly Right wing... they go after Liberals

This site is inhabited by white supremacists, neo Nazis and racists of all kind. There's a smattering of liberals thrown in but they're subjected to slowdown technology to shut you up. It's taken over 10 minutes sometimes for me to post.
If you're not singing the praises of this president you're in for a lot of trouble.
Their sources they use to push their propaganda are more than bizarre. They're true cultists.
If there was decent moderation for this site it would be good for no other reason than to laugh at them and correct their lies.
But then you'd have to put up with mods harassment.
It's not worth it. Read a book instead.

Ever wonder where your crazy, alt-right uncle goes to blow off steam, since he can't be himself in civil company? Look no further than the US Message Board. This sight is bursting at the seams with climate change deniers, evolution deniers, white nationalist scum, and Trump's surrogate mommies. As one would expect, they are vulgar, vile, and hateful. Ironically enough, they are also all huge crybabies who report any poster who dares treat them the way they treat everyone. The mods abuse their site powers, getting into personal tiffs with posters. Mods will send you private messages that amount to "I can act any way I please, but if you insult me, you're gone." Trust me, your brain will need a shower after 5 minutes of exposure to this dumping ground for angry old white men.

These mods will dictate what you post, one mod in particular constantly harasses me and if this loser keeps it up on other people I hope this site finds itself in a law suite because sooner or later they will mess with the wrong one. The site claims free speech but that only applies to those they favor.

If your post does not fit the leftist mindset you will get your post locked, deleted, or moved to conspiracy or their favorite the rubber room.

There are a few users who go around tauting people constantly and they are allowed to get away with it. They are so bad most people have these scum blocked.

The malware I would agree 100% is true, after this mod who constantly harassed me did so yesterday. He sent me a message that had a little bit of threat behind it after the message my ability to get onto the site is almost impossible. I am not banned but it is so laggy it's not worth waiting for.

I hope someone brings a lawsuit on them for over stepping their boundaries messing with a person's ability to connect to the site. And the mod is an IT tech so that should tell you their ability to do something like that.

Mods/Trolls here can't stop bad reports on a web site that suck or maybe that should be a website where the MODS suck.

A class action wouldn't result in money but might possibly teach pathetic sites like this not to play with people as you don't always have the power you think you do just because your leftist filled to the gills.
