Upwork gave me the opportunity to work with clients from around the world. The whole experience is smooth and well established. I'll definitely keep collaborating with them in the future.
Upwork is really great platform for talent appreciation. I am a fresh freelancer with professional skills in Presentations designing and Upwork is providing me a great opportunity to showcase my skills and earn a good reward.
Upwork is best when it comes facilitate its buyers and freelancers both. It has a sophisticated, organized and user friendly interface which enables both clients and freelancer to fulfil their desired needs.
Upwork strictly selects freelancers to the apply to the exchange. Next, verifies the freelancer via video communication. This helps to validate the competence of the freelancer. Therefore, real proffessionals work with clients. I recommend all employers to post job on this platform
Helped me earning lot of money through my skills. Really a best marketplace ever seen. Love you Upwork.
Upwork provides a great platform for the clients to find great freelancers from all over the world, not just some specific country, which is a great thing they do. I have been working on Upwork for almost 6 years formally known as Odesk, and I have met so many clients and also some permanent clients.
Only one problem that can be fixed by Upwork, is that they always take the client's side in case of any dispute or problem with a project no matter if the client is wrong or right.
Other than that I love it and will continue to use it.
Thanks Upwork!
I'm really happy with my Upwork experience so far! I left my job around a year ago and my income is coming only from Upwork. They have great features and maintain awesome customer assurances for both freelancers and clients. The downside is that it's an open marketplace so literally everyone can join as a freelancer or client, which unfortunately leads to tons of unqualified clients or scam freelancers. However, I do think that this is not the platform's fault, and I believe that any qualified person can find awesome clients to work with. I have!
Very happy! Lots of work, contracts are fair for freelancer and client, platform covers everything from the start of a contract to the end of a contract and receiving monies into your back account. I don't bother with other freelance sites, nothing else compares, and are inferior.
I love upwork.com. It's a great platform yo do work. And the most important thing is that they provide payment protection.
Upwork is unique in providing work and how to maintain customer assurance for both parties, and this distinguishes it from other sites similar to it in providing this service. I recommend using it to meet any work you want, provided that it ends under independent clients of the highest quality.
Upwork does a great job of maintaining a website that is very functional and feature-rich and organized. The options for protection, for client and freelancer, are valuable. I consistently make many 10's of thousands of dollars a year on Upwork.
The challenge is that Upwork is an open market, meaning anybody can post their job there, and almost anybody can join as a freelancer. This means, frankly there are an abundance of unqualified clients and freelancers. I understand the reasoning behind this - if Upwork were to assign themselves the role of judging who gets to join, running the business would become untenable for them.
And so, there is a portion of Upwork that is a race to the bottom in pricing, where clients believe design is not something they should pay a lot for, and many freelancers will happily do a logo for $30. And then the client is surprised that a $30 logo is not very good.
But there are many "professional" clients, as I call them, who have realistic budgets, and are looking for experienced pros like myself. So you simply have to do the groundwork to find them, and manage the project and the client properly.
I am happy to have Upwork.
I have been with Upwork as a Freelancer from the beginning when they merged with Elance. Once you decide on your work category you need to bid on as many projects as you can. In my case it is voice overs and within a week of my joining I had an offer to work on a clients project and I was thrilled. Work rules from Upwork are strict and if you follow the guide lines the work will come. Make sure your client has posted the escrow before you start a job and ask questions of your client so there is no misunderstanding. You can work full time or part time, your choice. Alan M.
I've started using UpWork 4 months ago to kick-start my freelancing career and it's been a great experience all through.
This is a great site for freelancers to find job opportunities,
It is easy to use and the customer device is great.
Payment processing and receipt for income are easy to access.
I would highly recommend this site to anyone looking for freelancing work.
Upwork is best freelancer site i worked with. Project posted by customers are all valid and payment reference also valid when we complete project.
Only one drawback for freelancers that they charge a lot 20%.
Upwork provides the freedom to choose the right project as per the skillsets and I got to work with amazing clients and explore my potential.
Upwork rules is very right, it protect both clients and frelancers. As a freelancer i have spend much time working on a project for a clients but after all she refuse to pay me but talking about upwork all their rule and condition are excellent for you to gain money from the confort of you home and for clients to find skillful freelancers that handle your task perfectly
Upwork is large market place online job. I have work on Upwork more than 5 years, and found great client from Upwork. Thanks Upwork
Upwork is a great platform for freelancing. They provided excellent support for a freelancer that wishes to connect wi employers around the globe and all is done in a very secure way.
I am a writer of novels and in 2020 I had some troubles to survive only by my book sales, because of the Corona-Crisis. Thank god I saw an article about Upwork. I signed up and since this moment my problems disappeared because through Upwork I found work as a german language copywriter and content creator.
The platform works just amazing and I could not be happier to have joined Upwork

Answer: They are horrible. Every freelancer I've gotten from Upwork has cost me more to fix the small job they have done. There's absolutely no customer service! I would stay away
Answer: This is not the place to inquire.
Answer: No, just 20% of your job when we talk about fixed price, and same for hourly but after some week it's been 10%
Answer: Go to Settings › Contact Info › Click the Close my account link. If you meet the requirements, click the button to confirm that you want to close your account.
Answer: I am a customer and have had a really horrible experience. Upwork claims a 100% guarantee before you pay anything. That is not true. The process is actually quite horrible. You put money in escrow. You only get your money back after a bad contract if the freelancer agrees to release the money. If the freelancer refuses, you get a bargain offer to still pay them something but still you are paying for a bad job you can't use. Then, if you refuse to bargain over a bad job, you are told that it will cost you an additional $389 to arbitrate with a 3rd party affiliate that the customer (me), the freelancer (scammer) and Upwork (ripoff enabler) has to pay. I took it all the way to arbitration with the end result being that Upwork decided that I was just too uninformed to know their policy and that they would give me a one time only refund of my original amount. What they didn't tell me what that they just gave me a "credit" of my original amount and that was the end. So I am still out the original amount and can't get my money back. This sight is a ripoff. Plain and simple.
Answer: Because of their policy changes which are geared towards the client rather than the freelancer. They have dug their own grave with their policy changes of late.
Answer: Go to Get Paid on PC or Mobile, you will see 3 dots in front of your payment method, tap to select edit/remove to change them. Go to Billing Method on PC under Billing Section and tap three dots to change (edit/remove). Thanks
Answer: Be part and see, dont look at the sold mine reviews people, upwork can bush you to reach.
Answer: I agree with Sam. This place is a scam. They have bad reviews everywhere. Katrina is probably working for them!
