After ordering my Uplift desk online, in my typical indecisive way, I made not one but two changes to my order. My first call was answered by Cooper, who was super helpful and efficient in changing my order. The second call was answered by Marianne, who was equally kind and cheerful and changing my order with her was a breeze. It's so nice to have both calls answered so quickly and to deal with such nice folks!
Initially ordered the 42'' x 30'' desk with a T- frame. After putting it all together (worked great and had no problems) realized that the 30'' width was too big for my living room and that the 24'' version would work way better. I called Uplift's customer service and got amazing help from Timothy. We initially were planning on just getting the desktop replaced to 42'' x 24''. When we realized that the T-frame does not support the 42'' x 24'', instead I was able to return the whole desk and replace it with a C-frame. It was free to do so with no shipping costs. Throughout the whole ordeal, Timothy was patient, helpful and easy to work with. Some of the best customer service I've had.
I bought a T-frame model and am really loving it so far (1 week of use). Everything seems really sturdy and well designed. I especially like how quiet it is during the raising and lowering process.
Putting it together was pretty straightforward, despite not having much experience with furniture assembly. I feel like the instructions did a good job illustrating and explaining everything.
I did have one slight issue though. I ordered a laminate desktop, and although it had a slight defect on the surface, I was able to get a resolution with customer support quickly. Marianne, my customer support representative provided great assistance to me. She coordinated a replacement desktop to be sent to me. It was sent very quickly! The new desktop is beautiful and without defects.
I'm at my desk for several hours a day, and am looking forward to working here, whether it be sitting or standing!

My sales rep (Anthony) was great. He was patient, knowledgeable, personable, helpful and mindful of my budget constraints. He answered all questions to my satisfaction and has been in constant contact regarding delivery. Since this was my first experience with this organization and first impressions are lasting impressions, I was very impressed and would do business with them again.
We have purchased 4 Uplift Desks this year and have been extremely satisfied with all aspects of the process. Ordering is a breeze, units are delivered when they are promised and you receive a wealth of assistance to put the units together (video and written). On one of the desks we miscalculated the length of the desk surface and reached out to see about swapping parts. Marianne N. Responded very quickly and had the new part ordered for us within an hour of my first email. That is so rare these days. So even if the desks weren't incredibly awesome they'd still have me as a customer. But, I have to tell you, the desks are amazing. So glad we found these folks.
The desktop arrived damaged from shipping and Marianne Nissim was very helpful with arranging the replacement. I was happy with the prompt and flexible customer service.
I absolutely love the Bamboo Uplift C Frame I purchased. It's definitely worth the extra bucks to get the upgraded paddle for the height adjustment. I had a slight ding on the desk and Marianne Nissim was wonderful helping me get the replacement shipped out. I love the peace of mind knowing this has an excellent warranty. The cables are hidden and its such a sleek look. I couldn't be more pleased.
Here's a tip, if you're going to get the desk, I'd invest in the foot rest. I didn't order it in the beginning but now with all of this home office luxury I cant go wrong so I'm ordering it today.
Tim gave me step-by-step advice/guidance on the huge range of options and accessories. First time I've bought a desk online so this was really helpful. He was clear and related his own experience in the process. Re-sent his contact info for any follow-up questions. Looking forward to receiving our new desk!
I had ordered a custom standing desk that was WAY too big for my tiny apartment and Tim was amazing in helping me return/replace my desk for one that would fit my apartment. He was so helpful, informative, courteous, respectful and so many more adjectives that would exceed the character count if I continued. Long story short, he was just a wonderful rep and wish all the customer reps from the various companies I ordered from could emulate.

I haven't even gotten my desk yet but I just wanted to write about my experience ordering from Uplift. After researching different standing desks, I was looking at buying a V2 standing desk from Uplift. There was a promotion for two free items but no cash discounts that I could find.
I sent a message (after hours) through the chat asking about any promotions and Marianne emailed me the next day. She told me that there was a promotion for $100 off if you spent over $999. But the table and accessories that I was looking at only totaled to ~$850. Even though I didn't hit the limit, she was able to give me a new quote that took $40 off to cover the comfort keypad upgrade. Marianne also helped update my order with specific delivery instructions and was just plain pleasant to communicate with. I don't expect there to be anything wrong with my new desk but if there is, I know Uplift's customer service will take care of me. Highly recommending spending the extra money to buy from this company.
Had the wonderful opportunity to work with Steven Bostic from their Sales/Customer Service department to place an order. Steven helped answer all of my questions and even helped me accommodate needs associated with a corporate wellness subsidy I was trying to apply.
Steven's professionalism, client relationship skills, knowledge of the Uplift product offering portfolio, and just general nice-guyness are beyond exceptional. People like Steven truly are a testament for the quality of Uplift products beyond just the desk! Uplift wants to make sure you're happy with the full customer experience and I'm so glad I've got the perfect desk for my home on its way over!
Do not order the commercial frame with the 42 inch desktop. The commercial bar does not fit between the desk legs in this size, and the company is entirely unhelpful and will only say 'it's tricky.' This configuration should not be sold, and the company will not do anything to correct the issue.
If every company could have a customer service rep like Marianne Nissim the world would be a better place. Her patience, professionalism and kindness were so pleasing when we had to order a quick shipment of desks etc. She was able to help us with any questions and was quick on follow-up. We will be using Uplift Desk for all our school needs. Thank you Marianne.
We ordered an L-shaped uplift desk and there was a little bit of confusion regarding the actual size of the return piece. We thought it would 60" in length but that dimension includes the width of the main desk. Oops. I called customer service at uplift and Steven was courteous and extremely helpful in facilitating replacing the piece for our office. Customer service like that will always result in repeat customers!
Nicole with customer service was so nice to work with when I had an issue with a damaged desk during shipping. She was able to correct the issue and did so very quickly. Thank you Nicole and I would highly recommend anyone give this company their business!
Had a fantastic experience ordering an uplift desk and steelcase gesture chair from Nicole W over the phone! Their website had bundle deals for the chair without a headrest, but Nicole was able to get manager approval to get me that same discount for the chair with a headrest. She was also on the phone helping me well past closing time. Great customer service and I'm excited to get my office gear!
The deliveries came in random shipments on random days. Never got a update on shipment changes and kept having to call about missing pieces as I found find out by building without being able to. Had to work a high stressful job on the floor for days before all pieces came in. Still waiting for another. A $3000 desk shld not be this unorganized. The directions were also terrible to put together. Whoever made them is in the wrong career. Hopefully the stress this desk caused me will be better one day when all the pieces get hereā¦..
With so many of us working from home, I decided to treat myself to a top quality standing/adjustable desk. I ordered in the midst of the pandemic, so it took a couple of months to fulfill the order. When it arrived, i was struck by the quality build --the components are very heavy, but fairly easy to assemble. If you are an older person or perhaps a smaller woman or man, you may need help with the boxes bringing them to the room where your desk will be located. Initially i had an issue with the desk not moving up or down (!), but Samantha in customer service worked with me, sending two replacement parts, which ultimately fixed the issue and the desk is functioning perfectly. While I was initially frustrated that that desk did not work "out of the box", i give the company credit for being responsive and sending me the easy to install replacement parts without hesitation, and leading me through the quick repair. So, all in all, i feel that I have a high quality desk and a company that will stand behind its products in the event that there are any issues in the future. Thank you Samantha and Uplift Desk.
Answer: Very easy, as others have said. Avalon was available immediately via chat and also helped with quotes etc from her personal email. A nice change from the typical bots most sites have!
