Moving from New York to Los Angeles was an epic journey. Packing up my home was not just about boxing items, but boxing up a chunk of my life. The moving team treated each item with the care it deserved, from my book collection to my family's antique clock.Despite the long distance, they reached LA in record time and kept me informed. When we faced a challenge due to my new hilltop home's narrow, winding roads, the crew swiftly offered a solution: transferring my belongings to a smaller truck capable of navigating the tricky terrain. This extra step didn't shake their professionalism or humor. They made the transition smooth, and soon, my belongings found their place in my new home. Despite potential stress, the crew made the moving experience positive. I would recommend their excellent service to anyone. Moving can be daunting, but with the right team, it's an adventure. Thanks, guys!
Robert and Smith commenced by meticulously packing up every single item in my house. Their approach was incredibly precise as if they were assembling a colossal puzzle.
My relocation was completed seamlessly, without any bummer any hitches. I wasn't expecting that level of perfection and professionalism from a company that is cheaper than its competitors. United Regions Van Lines is worth the money.
Two guys arrived to help us move because our one-bedroom apartment was on the third floor without an elevator and it was too far for us to carry all of our belongings down the stairs by ourselves. They took extra precautions to keep everything safe while in transit, and they didn't stop until the task was done. They were consistently polite, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
My valuable china set was being relocated, and I was apprehensive about it, but these folks handled it with ease; not a single dish has ever broken or cracked. I am sure I am going to hire them once again.
I contacted United Regions Van Lines to transport my belongings safely and quickly. To avoid damage, they accurately packed my LCD and all sensitive luxury items in bubble sheets. Moreover, they delivered every item to my house within the committed time of three days.
Recently, I scheduled my shift time with United Regions Van Lines and found them responsive and friendly. They sent four workers who were competent and dedicated to their work. My furniture was shifted to my new apartment without a single crack. I admire the company's efforts and will hire them again when needed.
They showed up, worked quickly and carefully, and got it done in 2 hours. They were extremely friendly and diligent.
These guys were great. I needed a last-minute move done, and they were available the next day and accommodating with my schedule. Their rates are UNBEATABLE.
Best customer service! I 100% recommend this company if you're looking around for a moving company Will definitely used them again!
My most recent cross-country move was handled with the same degree of care as if the movers had been transporting their own family heirloom china set. I had complete peace of mind that my grandmother's antique cabinet and pricey wine glasses would arrive safely at my new home.
The movers did a fantastic job. They worked quickly and efficiently, and they were very careful with my possessions while they packed and transported them. Absolutely, I would employ their services one more for my subsequent Endeavor.
Your organization provides top-notch packing and moving services, and everyone we dealt with was pleasant, helpful, and polite throughout the whole process.
We hired four movers, and with their tireless work, we could move two families in only 1 days. The level of friendliness and helpfulness shown by Smith & William were outstanding. Highly recommended!
Read the images I posted! Nothing aligns- not licensed to transport household goods. They doubled our quote. They broke our goods! Just run and pay a legit company
Great sales team and pick up team but after that it all falls apart. I cannot get a delivery date and dispatch is rude. No one will answer my calls or emails. We have been waiting 3 weeks with no end in sight. They have ruined our holidays.
When we first received our quote, it was pretty low. I assumed it would increase when we had the final box total. They used our Zillow post and so they could see all of our furniture so it should have been close. By the time they landed the truck it was nearly 4 times the quote.
The guys who loaded the truck were professional and organized. We had already packed all of our household goods so it should have been a fairly easy pick up and delivery. We set are delivery date about 5 days out to allow us to get to Florida and close on our home. The movers told us to just contact dispatch and they would set our delivery for after 12 on that day given that we close on ourbhome at 10AM. We were singing and happy as we drove away. Then we called United and it went downhill fast.
Flash to our call with the company. "OH we definitely won't have it there on the 1st. It can take up to 17 days to deliver. It's a short move so it shouldn't take that long but it could. John should have told you that". At no point neither on the contract or during the many calls to United prior to them picking up our shipment was 17 days ever discussed. We would not have signed with them. They told us this AFTER the goods were away from our home and essentially held hostage. It has been 10 days now and they still have not been able to give us a delivery date. We have had to buy so many items just to avoid having an enormous hotel bill. We are basically camping out in our new home with none of our supplies. Duped by United.
The practices of this company are very deceptive. I have moved nearly 20 times as a military spouse and never have I had such abhorrent customer service after a signed contract. They were a day late arriving to pick up our goods and we were very accommodating. I would suggest asking a lot more questions before giving any money to this company. Let the buyer beware. Learn from my mistakes. Your "first available drop off date" means nothing. They will take their sweet time and get to it when they feel like it. Get multiple quotes (preferably at your home) and get a guarantee on the delivery date. United is fast and loose with the truth.
United Regions moved my elderly mother from CA to OR. In the process, all her dishes, glasses and furniture smashed. A lifetime of memories were destroyed. She is a careful packer, it's clear none of boxes were tied down. Nearly everything that holds meaning is gone, broken or missing! Do not use this awful service.
I wish this is what we'd done before embarking on this road through hell that was our summer with United Regions Van Lines. Someone should write up a case study on them to explain to students in business school on what NOT to do.
Customer service: almost nonexistent, weeks will go by before getting an email response, and the ONLY way to speak to a person is to pretend like you're a new customer, don't let them transfer you - they will hang up, don't leave a voicemail - it will never be returned, don't get heated over the "contract" - it will lean to a screaming match
Financials: questionable at best, still not sure what kind of "company" in 2022 doesn't accept card payments - VENMO or check by phone ONLY?
Delivery: our stuff was picked up EARLY JUNE, we got a PARTIAL delivery on JULY FOURTH, and another partial delivery on JULY 30. We still do not have all of our goods, and someone in Florida has some of our stuff.
Also, we moved from Indiana to Georgia. Our driver yesterday said he picked up our thing in TEXAS! What? I'm no geography whiz, but that seems a little out of the way...
Moral of the story, if you don't need it, sell it and if you really need it, drive it yourself. Your local high school football team will probably come pack your truck for a small donation!
I have moved at least 10 times in my life & I have never EVER experienced anything like this. The salesperson on the phone did an incredible job of walking me through the whole process. Unfortunately he was either lying or he has no idea what the actual experience of moving with them is like. The amount we paid is MORE THAN DOUBLE what we were initially quoted. No one who has had any part in moving our belongings is an actual employee of United Regions. These are not professional movers. It is a ragtag mix of contracted people who do not care a bit about your furniture. We received half of our belongings today in California, even though I was still being told yesterday morning that our belongings were still in a warehouse in Georgia after our things had been picked up 7/9. They did not know our belongings had left Georgia and were a day away from being in California. They actually put pieces of our sectional couch on different moving trucks. Who does that?! We have half of a sectional couch in our living room. No one told us to expect different shipments of our belongings. I have taken multiple pictures of broken storage bins, boxes that look like someone punted them off a bridge, totally broken furniture and expensive lamp shades that now look like total garbage. It seems like you would have to go out of your way to damage & mishandle as many things as they did. Horrible communication. Unprofessional contractors who write rude texts. No one tells the truth. No one cares at all about customer service. I don't have the energy to include all of the ways that they have failed. Unbelievable.
Answer: They are a legit company who is reckless with the truth. They lie to get the job and then leave with with no idea when your goods will arrive
Answer: The price and the original customer service in order to get the contract was great. The movers are good. The price went up tremendously and then they told us it would take up to 17 days to get our stuff. This was AFTER the truck pulled away. We were told it would be ready for us to receive on the date we requested.
Answer: Mine too. Totally agree with you. It was a bait and switch no one told us that the stuff would be taken off the truck and moved to a warehouse with no ETA on delivery.
