Both my cats are on the dehydrated food & nutritional supplement daily. I rehydrate the food with warm water cover & cool then serve, they love it. They're coats have improved & the litter box deposits are better too. I feed them small amounts 4 times a day & they love this food, happy cats.

Nutra Thrive really helped my dog (Squirt). He was diagnosed with pancreatitis in October 2017. He has been using Nutra Thrive for several years now after he was diagnosed with pancreatitis. His digestive system is very sensitive, he's been on a prescription diet. But sometimes he could eat table food that were accidentally dropped and easily have diarrhea. I gave him extra dose of Nutra Thrive and it really helped his diarrhea. He really enjoys it along with Juveflex. Squirt is now 17.5 years old. He became blind last year 2022. He is old and blind but still surviving. I know he has limited time left and I'm trying my best to make the most of our tine together even sacrificing my sleep to take care of him during overnight hours.
Maddie, our 14 yo border collie mix has been taking NutraThrive for a few years. First let me start by saying I am a LVT professionally and took my time switching my 15 year old 20 lbs dog to this diet and her and I absolutely love this food My issue is with the subscription service and shipping I ordered my first in May and shipping with prompt and delivery accordingly however my next month shipment I am still waiting on it and it seems to be sitting in TN never has been shipped the subscription renewed on June 19 and shipping label created June 20th and now this is June 28th and I still have not received my subscription Thank God for Amazon I had to pay full retail to get my dog her food with their speedy shipping or else poor Mimzey would of been with out her food and we all know what havoc that can cause on a dog's GI tract to switch back abruptly. When I called customer service there were hardly any help and didn't even offer free bags or partial refund until I literally insisted. I am not sure what the problem is with their subscription plan but the company needs to be more on top of their shipping procedures! First of all Dr. Richter gives you a PARTIAL refund plus the postage to return the "product" is almost as much as the cost that the BUYER has to pay. This food needs attention to mix with warm water and have a meat-like consistency. It's no problem to go through the process but the results gives it an artificial quality and, in addition, puts a mushy substance in your pets mouth. Teeth cleaning is an additional must.
But the big problem is it's not the best taste for most dogs. Especially picky eaters.
My dog has no problem eating the crunching hard Iams, Science Diet and other proven probiotic foods. These are better for the teeth and a lot less expensive.
The mush is overly expensive, overly rated and unfairly promised.

I've ordered all of the different varieties of Nutra Bites available and out Goldendoodle, Gracie, who is over 13 years of age, loves them all.
In fact, on mornings that she's not real excited about her regular feeding, I open the treat drawer, show her the bag of Nutra Bites, and she will then eat her regular food to get her Nutra Bites. Her favorites are the Chicken Liver and the Salmon

It's not the pet industry typical bag o' dried remnants we've come to expect.
We call all regular kibble dog cereal because, like humans live healthier lives skipping that aisle at the market, we could do better for our furrier fam members by thinking the same about the nutes needs of our pets.
If they are eating grass/dirt/have GI/tummy issues- this is the first step to improving all of that- also builds a healthier body for your pet to avoid the mega money vet visit bills arising from "kibble" that isn't suited to a balanced, healthy canine/feline diet.

We are skeptics but find that after a few months our 15 year old pup is healthier, less high strung, far less scratching and licking. Her life continues to improve on this- so far- we've had a couple set backs when they ran out of of products but that's been handled & now orders are much smoother & the quality is high.
For anyone who is sensitive to the sight and smell of dog food- this is holy grail.
Trust us- we were cooking lamb, bison, even liver (erk!) - with broccoli sweet potato, etc, and the results were good but not sustainable on busy days.
Not trying to sell anyone anything- it's the info I'd have wanted when I was looking for a better solution
A couple tips:
1. More water- the food has all liquid removed, add a bit of warm water to make it easier for smaller mouthed pups or older pups with less teeth to eat the bits.
2. More water- keep that water bowl full (we added a 29$ zero water pitcher to take all the chemicals and chlorine out of our tap water for our pup and ourselves. Don't hesitate to add a drop of bet approved chlorophyll to the bowl, a couple drops of mothers apple cider vinegar with a 1/8 of a tap of real manuka honey every couple weeks. It helps with good bacteria and can get rid of yeast overgrowths in ears and on paws, it can also be a real help for humans.

Our Biewer has stomach issues so he tends to be a very picky eater. First food that he will actually eat consistently.

Poor customer consideration/communication. Our most recent AUTO ship order is over 10 days late. I called and was told the product wasn't available. The customer service from this company is horrible and does not know what they are doing. Yes the product is good but they can't live up to their orders.
