Poor poor customer service

It is so incredible the stupidity of customer service people. I use these rides so often and because some of the controversial cancellation fees that were the results of bad drivers, they would not dispute these charges and lost the business for good from me. I have explained and escalated, the "machine" would not reasonably consider my complaint. Although Lyft nowadays are extremely expensive during the rush hours, given the bad service I received, I would not go back to UBER every again. How stupid this could be!

It is unfair to hold people's money when some people are living by the dime. Do away with the authorization holds. Presently I have roughly $65 on hold because of Ubers authorization hold which I won't get back until 3 to 5 business days. That is a bad practice and it is a bad practice for any business.

Dangerous

Uber knowingly sends drivers to pick up some very dangerous people. There is an alternative. Pictured, is that alternative. Developed by a driver who was tired of driving armed drug mules and transients, Honkers! Was born. It is very different.

Scammers

Waited 15 minutes in total, kept saying they were 2 minutes away, then they cancelled on me 5 times, i then cancelled because I got fed up with it, and they then changed me 6 euros for me cancelling even though I had no Uber on the way, an absolute disgrace, won't be using them again

I ordered a ride from MCI to my home. I left my iphone in the car. I tried to contact Uber for help. I couldn't find service number online. I tried to contact them with their chat tool. Their Chat application is a broken tool. It shows the window allow your type what's going on. Then waiting 10 minutes for the agent to show up. After Connected to agent, the app closed my chat window, I couldn't type! Agent then said: sorry, I couldn't hear from you and closed the conversation. I will never book Uber! They has no quality control at all.

Horrible customer support

My mother lives in Garden City Missouri she's 89 years Old I gave her a $1000 to use with Uber and she can't even get ahold of anybody to get a ride. The Uber app it is not user friendly you can't get any customer support you can't get a phone number to talk to anybody. THE APP WANTS 49$ A MONTH JUST TO TALK TO CUSTOMER SERVICE! WHAT A JOKE! SOMEONE WITH UBER PLZ CONTACT ME AT *******355 JIM DAVIS

JOSE went to the apartment complex next door
Instead of our place I saw him just sitting there so I walked over and asked was he Jose then at the same time a very rude obese woman walks over and says no he's here for me! Jose says My husband time ran out because he didn't come out five minutes ago…so I'm here for her! No apology no nothing! We waited in the hot sun for 30 minutes no show! Arrogant and very rude and a lack of professionalism! Let alone my husband is very disabled sitting out in the sun with his oxygen TANK!

Finding out why an account has been deactivated or how to reactivate it might be challenging at times. However, there are a few main reasons for account deactivation. But the main reason why Uber deactivates drivers is if the driver is violating community guidelines. If you have issues with deactivation, speak to cyberianx on telegram for a possible reactivation

Don't use Uber

Uber is awful with customer. Someone got my credit card number, and was using Uber I called Uber No help at all. Told me I needed the email address associated with who ever made the order

After taking a shuttle from the mn state fair it said 40 minute wait for Uber. We walked 2 miles with young children because it was faster. Good bye Uber. NEVER AGAIN

Stolen

I reserved a ride for the following day. Paid 35.55 for the ride. And i go check to make sure everything is ok but nope, it says i have no upcoming rides. Like the $#*!! I just paid yall. Theres literally no help to figure out whats going on. I recommend a no if you need a ride. Try lyft. Uber just took my money and the customer care is a joke.

Support Is useless

Uber support is useless. I lost an expensive medical device 5 days ago and they've been no help in trying to get it back. My driver will not respond to phone calls or email, claiming he "doesn't speak English". Apparently Uber hires drivers (in the US) who don't speak any English. They don't seem to care about their riders or the fact that their company is represented by rude, ignorant and unprofessional drivers.

I just signed up for Uber Eats as a delivery driver today and I got an email from Uber saying I was approved. So, just out of curiosity, I clicked on the link that the background check company sent me, and when I entered my info on their site they said that my background check wasn't going to be ready until Sept. 1st! Today is August 30th. So how could Uber approve me when the background check hasn't even come back yet? Doesn't sound the least bit bogus.

My first time used uber, and the price it wos 9.99$ and the bill came 23.04$, how come, i am 70 years old and desable, no good impresed about it, can i get my money back over charged, the driver got lossed many time, then pushed on me the time he lost, please, can i get my money back over charged, i am disable. And it wos about one mile, for that price, i sweared, phone *******684, thanks, i got first picture wrong, i do not how to take it out

I was literally robbed by an Uber driver and the company refused to address this in any way. I was a customer for a few years of frequent use with a five star rating. At the end of a trip the driver informed me I owed more than the quoted amount due to an unpaid fare. Needless to say, there was no unpaid fare. I don´t know how that could even be done nor would I ever, under any circumstances, do such a thing. I refused to pay the additional amount with the driver insisting I do. I asked him to call the police and he would not. As I exited, he began to lament about having to pay said amount from his pocket, had very little income and no way to even pay his current debts. I heard the whole sob story (which I´m sure he had down to perfection). Sap that I am, I paid him the amount he requested, arrived home and went to my Uber account to address this unjustified charge. Upon doing so, I saw the charge was still there. I wrote Uber countless times over an entire month. The driver clearly has a good con going on but the bigger tragedy is Uber condones it and coddles criminals in their employ. I never write negative reviews, however, this was so outrageous I felt I must. Use Uber at your own risk.

Customer service doesn't care about your problem. They answer with automatics messages and then block the chat so you won't answer again.
Uber charges you with no explanations.
