Twitter Reviews Summary

The company, formerly known as Twitter, has garnered significant criticism regarding its customer service and platform management. Customers frequently report issues with account access, lack of responsive support, and perceived bias in content moderation. Many express frustration over automated responses and difficulty in resolving issues, leading to a sense of abandonment. Conversely, some users appreciate the platform's potential for engagement, although this sentiment is waning. Overall, the reputation is marred by concerns over ineffective customer service and a perceived decline in the quality of discourse, prompting many to consider alternative social media platforms.

After Hurricane Irma, there were some teachers here in Miami that tweeted at students that were significantly affected by the hurricane. The superintendent tweeted that they were reopening schools at a time where many still had no power or water. As a dad myself, I posted my thoughts that it was too soon. Then I noticed on some tweet threads two teachers harassing students with their passive aggressive comments. I immediately reported the tweets and Twitter did nothing about it. Those teachers have no right to harass students, especially after a natural disaster. The students were 13 and 14-year-olds at least, and Twitter did not see these tweets as harassment. I immediately deactivated my account and reported the teachers by other means. Twitter is NOT safe for teens. What good is it to block users when teachers are getting away with this behavior on social media?

Love It
October 17, 2017

I joined Twitter with my first account back in 2010 and at first, I didn't really get it. I actually left my first ever original account (I later gave it to someone else because a celebrity followed it & they were a huge fan) but later came back with a new one. I met all kinds of people from all around the world and we became internet friends. Eventually, I outgrew that account and made a 2nd account in 2013 and I've been on that one ever since. Twitter is great, I'm honestly glad I joined. It's way better than Facebook, imo, though they both have pros and cons. The only thing I wish was a thing they Twitter gave the users / allowed us to do is make our own layouts. It would be cool to personalize our profiles more. Other than that, I'm happy with the site.

It was embarrassed to recognize that twitter supported Hamas and ISIS. While many Christians are banned from Twitter or asked to post their driver's license to keep their account open, others are blocked completely. Twitter has a close connection with Apple computers and together they make decisions that seem to support the creation of a new society, globalism and the freedom of speech for ISIS.

Here is the report with pictures posted on Twitter to invite assassination and mayhen. Do you agree that freedom of speech should not include violence? Do you agree that violence moves freedom of speech into a criminal realm? Should people have freedom to kill others that don't want to convert to the Muslim religion?

Here are the facts, you be the judge. Please pass the information on. It may just save a life and it may be ours. America has to stand firm against terrorism and fake news.

There... and some celebs are really cool. Give a talk to Linda Stasi or Aleksa Palladino or the "Seinfeld" main Twitter a try. They respond to you. A fun site. Screw Quora, or any of them.

A good idea of service - helps to share your thoughts and avoid some useless talking sometimes - I just post it there. But the amount of ads and ad accounts is astonishing...

My twitter account was hacked in 2009 with things posted that I did not write. I have tried to contact the company to have my account deleted because all of these posts are public but you cannot call them and they just keep telling me to change my password. However the person who hacked my account hacked my Email as well so I cannot get into my email to change my password. I am incredibly angry with the lack of help that twitter is providing me. I have asked them to delete my account which has been inactive since 2009 multiple times through their service email and they will not do it.

There has been an imposter account on twitter, impersonating me for over two years.

I am the only person in the world with my particular name (very unusual name) and someone has an imposter account up of me, that does not follow twitters guidelines, there is no "fake, commentary, or parody" claim on it.

It has cost me a job, my children have been harassed, I can't get a date, friends and family have seen it, yet even with proof that it is an imposter account, they've refused to remove it.

There's been nothing new posted in over 2 years, but the old derogatory post/following are still up for the public to see. According to twitter policy, after 6 months of inactivity accounts will be closed, but even with that they refuse to close it.

I'm at the point of suicide from this. I can't provide for my family because of it, can't afford an attorney, haven't had a date in two years because of it. For two years I've been fighting to have it removed and nothing.

I really can't take it anymore. This is no way to live.

Twitter stinks and it's obviously biased towards libs, progressives and those who hate the USA. I was a rare user but even with the small amount of tweets, they suspended my account becuz my political posts were conservative. Hope they go bankrupt; they're not worth using.

I'm not sure how this site became so popular because the concept seems ludicrously simple; but maybe that's just what people want. It has an incredibly sleek interface that couldn't be easier to use and everyone seems to be on it. The only reason this site loses a star for me is because I don't know why I would ever use it personally.

You should probably use Twitter if you're an aspiring youtuber or you do something where you're trying to build a fan base for some reason.

REASONS TO USE
[1] Sleek. Easy. Simple.
[2] You want to build a following or a fan base
[3] You care what celebrities have to say

REASONS TO LOSE
[1] Personal preference

Why does Twitter have promoted ads policy, when they don't even follow it?

As I have lost count the large number of promoted ads I have got, even those I am not a targeted audience and cannot use what is being offered.

For example how can I use business services or products when I don't own a business, how can I use services or products for a say the medical field when I don't even work in that field or why do I get information on trading when I am not interested in trading in fact I have no money to the trade.

Used to be great fun. Now it just panders to anyone that claims to be victims of harassment, real or imaginary, even going so far as to delete user's accounts permanently.
I'm deleting my account.

This company markets itself as being the place where you can share your thoughts through a social media platform, but what they don't say is that if your thoughts don't align with the companies political leanings, then you will be banned. Mass censorship should never be tolerated, stay free in expressing yourself... elsewhere. #FreeMilo

Twitter has been routinely caught abusing its own "policies" in order to silence conservative voices. This is unacceptable at any time, much less right as the election ramps up. Do not use this service!
