Although I didn't find everything I thought I would I was able to get enough information. It would be nice if it didn't cost so much either or if you could pay a smaller fee for a single report instead of a monthly subscription.
Standard lookup service that covers basic PUBLICALLY available information from a variety of free (or nearly free) website databases. It saves a little time, but not much. What is horrible is they charge you for the service--but DO NOT TELL YOU that you've signed up for a recurring charge. Also adds weird "service" charges for no reason. DISHONEST BILLING! Have been unable to get charges reversed yet. Horrible company, avoid at all costs.

I was seriously hoping this was legitimate but it's full of incorrect information and nothing of value. Had to contact my bank to block them from access to my account. They hide with false statements and reminds me of the GOP and that azhole Trump

Signed up o Dec 18th canceled subscription on Jan 16th and was charged for another 30 days that I obviously didn't want. Called to ask why they charged my card and just said we see your cancelation but we cannot prorate the charge so you have another 30 days. It didn't need to be prorated, it was canceled in time! They are not concerned about ethical business practices at all. Beware of this service that gives limited information at best and give a lot of useless results. If you do use them make sure you cancel well ahead of the renewal date since 30 days really means 29 or less!

Very helpful to connect to people you could not trace, family and friends. Connects you to the right people in life. Truthfinder intices people usually from a third party site where someone has been lured by "Truthfinders" deceptive adverting thinking they can "search" for someone they have lost contact with by simply tying in a name on a site maybe entitled "people" search. Once the wheels are in motion you are automatically taken to "truthfinders" site.
If "truthfinders was legit there wouldn't be all the deception. There would be no need to be.
Furthermore most of "truthfinder" data is public record and can be accessed through other sources aka state, local and national for free. Also you would be surprised what you can find in the line of actual documentation with an ancestry.com membership + a whole lot more.
Truthfinders went out with Mrs. Fiske. It's old and gimmicky. Yet people fall for it. Then complain once they find out "truthfinders" sucks bigtime.

I went on to see if I was on it and it was completely wrong, it had a family member but not me, it says taking from Facebook but it didn't even do that right. I'm in the military and it asked if I had lived in a (disclosed place) I said yes and it but a random place there. I don't live there now and I think it just gave up!

So I've been charged for 6 month even after trying to cancel. Finally I told the credit card company either stop paying it or I'll cancel my card. They got ahold of these $#*! heads and still wouldn't give me my money back. And I was looking for my missing nephew and never found him either. DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY!

I signed up for a month of service. After paying $28 for the month of service they wanted to charge me $3.99 extra. WHAT A SCAM I did pay the $3.99 but I would not recommend this company. Shop around Stay away from these CRIMINALS

I entered a name with intent of only learning the address, and decided not to purchase the information. However, the company grabbed my computer's IP address and has been reminding me by a pop-up ad every other day. I'll find out how to block that, but will never go to this site again

I wanted one friggin' report. After the drama of waiting forever I got the news on the cost for three months at a certain price ( always look for a bargain. Thought I might look up a couple of other people). I could NOT download the report. I have an older computer. Spoke to this $#*! Christopher. Told me he was so sorry and would refund me immediately for a payment just charged my credit card. That was August 2,2021. So far I've been charged on 8/2 $3.95,9/1 $28.05,10/4 $28.05. Which I received a credit from my credit card company of $56.10, and damned if they didn't charge me another $28.05 on 11/2! I got nada from this place. BEWARE of them. Chris E. Isn't even a person. He's just the name given to any complaints.

The first person I inquired about had several arrests and at least one felony, but Truthfinder found NOTHING! It didn't tell me anything about anybody that I couldn't Google and get the same info! So I kept the service for a month only because it was paid for, but when I called to cancel I was told it was $7.99 more because I had inquired about an email address! I told her I did not do that and asked her what email address it was and she wouldn't tell me! So I got ripped off again! This is a scam anyway you look at it!

Despite strongly suspecting that I would be asked for money in the end, for the fun of it I asked for a report about myself. Don't believe the come on that results are available instantly. Or in "less than two minutes." It's a very long process, during which you are constantly warned that you may be "shocked" by the results. (My life is so boring that the details would be about as shocking as the revelation that gambling was going on in Rick's Casablanca cafe.) Anyway, you wait and wait, and in the end are asked to subscribe for an outrageous monthly price. You can't buy an individual report. To be fair, they did correctly identify me and the members of my family. But my advice remains the same -- don't waste your time or money.

Answer: To Amber: I have used Truthfinder for several years and of all the search sites, I have found their information the most current (and the most correct). I 100% believe that there are scammers that USE Truthfinder - to get information they can't get on Google - but I don't think that Truthfinder "scams people". They get their data from "public information" - something we could all get if we had the time and patience to find information about any person that someone is looking for out there. I use the website to find high school classmates and I have been pleased with the success I have had finding "long, lost friends". I agree with you that the scammers need to be prosecuted for all the times they break the law. They should all get off the couch and get a job instead of stealing from honest people who are trying to take care of their families by actually WORKING.
