i was expecting a .exe file to download on my purchase of software. Received an .img file which confused me. Sent a quick message to the supplier for help who replied very quickly (considering it was a weekend), with instructions and the type of software needed to open the download. Viola! end of drama. I had to replace a windows 7 key for a laptop from Asus the was downgraded to windows 7 but that came with no key for it. I could only upgrade to windows 8. This key enabled me to install 7 without a problem.
