We had a lovely time Looking after Charlemagne. He was initially a bit shy but after a day had completely warmed to us and loved playing games with his toys. He was very well behaved when we took him with us to explore singapore and was a dream to look after for the whole 9 days. Julia and Austen are a lovely couple who provided lots of details and helpful instructions about Charlemagne, the apartment and singapore. Their tips and advice were very helpful and they were also easy to contact at anytime. We had such a great time we have agreed another sit next month!

I have been using housesitting a lot this year in Europe (after having working visa issues), to be near my teenage son who is at a ballet school in England and to look after him for his breaks. I have found the site very user friendly, any admin issues sorted quickly. We have met astounding owners and animals and are enjoying the opportunity immensely. Thanks to Trusted Housesitters for connecting up homeowners and sitters in an easy to access way.

We were recommended to Trusted Housesitters by friends who have used their services for the last 2 years. This company provides an excellent win win service. We just completed our first housesit and it was great. The house was big, beautiful and comfortable. The dog we cared for was incredibly adorable and well trained and it was in a great location for great people, food and activities. We were able to stay in a lovely home at no cost and provide a service for the owners. Win-win. I've recommended this THS to many people.

The home was in the perfect location for us and very comfortable. When we arrived, it was so homey but uncluttered and very clean. They left drawers empty for us to use along with plenty of closet space! In addition, they left us a bottle of wine and goodies in the refrigerator. It was a lovely home away from home. We loved Sherlock who was a 12 year old border terrier. He was low maintenance even though needed to be feed 3 times a day. We got quite attached to each other. Very sweet loving little pup. We miss him already. We sure hope to do another exchange with them in the future.

Elizabeth and Dean have a beautiful home filled with lots of love and creativity. There is cultured and whimsical art everywhere. Elizabeth's since of humor shows up in her art. Dean has made many beautiful pieces of fine furniture throughout the home. What Elizabeth and Dean have created is a magnificent, immaculate, and elegant sanctuary.

The home is located close to Lake Travis in a quiet, private neighborhood. There are lots of cedar and oak trees making the home a peaceful, enchanted, and secluded setting.

The kitchen is well stocked and modern with every necessary utensil.
The Spa turns into a waterfall and night and makes a wonderfully pleasant water sound.

Even though we were welcome to use any part of the house, we mostly enjoyed hanging out in the "Outdoor Room" with Sofi.

Sofi is well behaved, calm, fun, sweet, playful, and the cute regal lady of the house and yard. She loves to play Frisbee. She chases her tail when excited and sometime catches it! A real darling that just wanted to be where we were.

Elizabeth and Dean are meticulously organized so it was easy to find anything we needed. Elizabeth and Dean are stable, easy going, kind, caring, thoughtful, generous, and intelligent. They welcomed us like kindred friends making every effort for us feel comfortable and welcome in their home.

Every possible amenity for our comfort had been carefully thought out and tastefully provided for. There is even an "any device" charging station in the kitchen. Every possible contingency is considered and planned for; they thought of absolutely everything.

My 9yr old daughter Lili and I had a wonderful stay at Fiona's and she was a great communicator, we had a good chat before the trip, orientation and welcome was great, they showed me the dog walking spots and we shared a lunch before they headed off on holidays. Fiona and Martin made sure we were up to speed with everything and how to lock up / where the local amenities were and gave some great sightseeing suggestions. Their home is wonderfully comfortable and there is plenty of room to run around / do yoga / throw the ball for Meg in the very spacious garden. Meg is a sweet girl who loves nothing more than playing fetch - she is certainly persistent! Flo is around a year old and needs a slightly firmer hand/reminding of her manners. Being still a pup, she gets excited and jumps or pretends to nibble your arm. She is the most affectionate of the two and I loved how she curled up in my lap when I sat on the grass in the garden! Both are very entertaining to watch and have great recall. Their regular walk trail was very picturesque, I really enjoyed watching them run through the fields and apple orchards - a great way to start and finish the day. Lili was delighted to have some 90s DVDs and Lego/Duplo/Puzzles from Fiona's (now grown up) children to play with and we loved cosying up in the lounge in the evenings. We enjoyed local trips to Royal Tunbridge Wells, Igntham Mote, Pooh Corner in Hartfield, Sissinghurst and Canterbury. The only tricky bit for me (as a freelancer) was the strength of the internet connection, which was poor (like many areas I visited in Kent) - but the upside was that I visited the nearby coffee shops and ate lots of cake while catching up on my work and using their WiFi! Looking after Fiona and Martin's home and dogs was a memorable experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to other pet sitters. Miss those sweet Spaniel faces already!
