This service connects people who live in a particular place and are traveling with people who want to visit that particular place and who are willing to take care of a home (especially homes with pets). We have used the service many times over the past two years and have nearly always had an extraordinary experience. All potential house sitters are vetted to a degree, but there are usually many reviews that allow a homeowner to match with someone meeting the homeowner's needs. We have never felt uncertain about a sitter and have never had a sit go wrong. We can strongly recommend this service.

One would be crazy not to use Trusted Housesitters! We felt so blessed to have found Trusted Housesitters. The service is so reasonable and website was so easy to navigate. We were so surprised how quickly and how many applicants for our request. The process is professional and detailed. Appreciated how the company and the housesitters kept in touch with us. Our experience with Trusted Housesitters was exceptional, beyond words! We hope to have made life long friends! Certainly have told all our friends!

We heard about Trusted Housesitters on the radio one day and when it came time to plan our Christmas vacation we decided to give the platform a try. Not only is it a simple, professional site & app, but it has saved us hundreds of dollars in boarding fees. Where we live, it costs 45$ per day for boarding plus extra for walks. For $130 per year we have access to amazing people who can take great care of our dog for free. We think this is a valuable and much-needed community of exchange in a world that emphasises squeezing every last dollar out of things. We look forward to meeting many more wonderful people through the platform and taking more trips worry-free.

I learned of Trusted Housesitters from an acquaintance. After reading the website information, I decided to give it a go. So glad I did! Received immediate responses from numerous potential housesitters and corresponded with several of them before making a choice. The housesitter/kitten caregiver we chose was absolutely wonderful. She had been vetted by the website and reviewed favorably by dozens of previous customers. Couldn't have been happier with the process. The nominal fee of approximately $100 that Trusted Housesitters charges to utilize the service is very reasonable. Not only did I save $1500 in traditional petsitting fees, my creatures had the love and care of a person at least 12 hours per day, as compared to the 1 hour per day a traditional pet sitter generally offers for drop in visits. Such a fantastic idea! Will definitely be using this service from now on.

I really love TrustedHouseSitters! I've only been a member for about a month and I've already completed my first house sit and have three more lined up. As a person who travels a lot, I don't have my own pets, so this is not only a great way to see the world but also be around animals, which I love. It helps a lot to read the reviews of past sitters and the website is set up really well so that you can search for house sits based on the type of pets, location, dates, and duration of stay. You pay just one yearly fee, which is less than a stay for one night would cost in most hotels. I highly recommend this site for anyone who loves animals and likes to travel!

I have been a member of trustedhousesitters now for a year and have used them for seven times - we have had seven wonderful pet sitters care for our pets while we have been away. The site is easy to use and I have been able to find such caring, wonderful, responsible pet sitters. Once I submit a date I usually get about 30 applicants in the first few days and to be honest they are all so qualified and interesting that it is difficult to choose one! But I am thankful to have too many options than not enough. This site also saves us a huge amount in pet sitter fees. We just pay one yearly fee and we can use it as much as we want. It used to really stress me out: having to find a sitter and then I had to pay them a good amount which really added to the cost of our trip. I already have two more Sitters lined up for 2020. I can not recommend this site and service enough. It really helps to be able to read the reviews of folks who have used the sitters in the past. I would not be able to travel without this site. Plus it is such a nice feeling to offer your home and pet to someone who loves animals but may have limited income in their retirement so they can visit other parts of the world. I have been very happy with this service and recommend it to every pet owner I know!

TrustedHousesitters has been amazing for me. It not only has given me an affordable way to travel and stay in amazing places worldwide, I am never without the love and company of my other passion... fur buddies. I have been welcomed and treated royally by every pet owner I have sat for and love having the companionship by their adorable pets, usually dogs and cats but even a couple of wonderful chickens.
