TruGreen in Orlando Florida. A Con Job- I ask if they will treat chick weed. "Oh yes, we have access to chemicals not available to the public." OK, you can control chick weed. I had just put down a pallet of Bahia grass, yes Bahia, it is bug, drought resistant and green. They put down the first treatment and the Chick weed starts spreading like fire. I call them out to stop the spread and they do nothing. Note stats like the fertilizer work and take root. The new grass dies and weeds get stronger and push throughout the lawn. They fertilize again and now the weeds have taken over more than half of the yard. I call to cancel and get my money back and Earl owner from Orlando says, " I have been doing this for 30 years and Bahia grass always has weeds." I asked why in the flip did you take the job if you knew weeds would take over! This guy is a take the money and run. He said he would refund my last treatment, but I have paid $232 for more weeds than before TruGreen started on my lawn. Thank you for nothing!
Tech has been out here twice. Not real friendly. Does first application and it doesn't,make much difference. No problem, we are just getting started. Comes out again, treats for Army worms which I already took care of and never asked them to do. Doesn't do any weed control or fertilizer. Secondly, I have called in 3 times now to get my online account working and each time they reset everything, give me a new password and say give it 24 hours. I give it the suggested time and still the same thing. I have done this 3 times and it is still not resolved. Each time they say if it doesn't work call us back. Arghhhh.
The worst customer I have had to deal with for the last 60 years. The at site service is very much determined by technician. The customer service cannot answer simple questions
We signed up with this company about a year ago. Our yard looks worse than it ever has! When they would actually show up, they'd say "give it a couple more weeks ". Or they'd say "oh you need to sign up for a new service ". Fire ant service is a "one time service ". And all it did was spread them all around with no visible mounds, so when my husband is walking around the yard he's attacked. Oh yeah we can call any time and they'll come back out but without mounds they don't know where to spray. So yeah, we still have fire ants but now they're in stealth mode! We called them several times to look at our lawn to come up with a plan and they kept canceling. But no call, just didn't show up! We stay home from work and no show! Then we call for a what's up and they say " oh yeah it's been rescheduled ". This happened at least 5 times. Then my husband called about maybe seeding the lawn because in the beginning they said they would do it. Now a year later, lawn is worse than ever, we were told "oh we can't do that, you don't have the right soil in your zip code "!?!? We fired them and went with a new local company. Now they send us a bill!? We owe them nothing! One, we had our card on file and was paid up. Two, the service was unsatisfactory! The girl on the phone said, it may take up to 3years to see results? BS! That's not what we signed up for and they OWE US our money back!
I signed up and paid for a full year of TruGreen lawn care services, hoping for a weed-free lawn. However, despite multiple complaints and concerns raised, the weeds are not only still thriving, but have spread uncontrollably throughout the yard and looks worse than when i started the service! To make matters worse, they now claim that I have to sign up for another year for them to address the issue. Unacceptable service and lack of accountability. Avoid this company if you want results and value for your money.

Trugreen called to sell a year of lawn service. I didn't want lawn service but I did have 3 patches of English Ivy that I wanted killed. The guy was oh sure we can we can do that. Well they didn't a I called every other time I had service to remind them they were supposed to kill the ivy don't spray the yard! Now they want me to pay again and there's no way I will ever believe them again and I want a refund because your service stinks!

This is the 2nd time now that a tech was out to my property and did not spray my yard. I have cameras covering my entire property and watched each and every one of them to confirm before writing a review. He was there a total of 7 minutes for 3/4 of an acre. That time included him pulling up as soon as the camera picked up until he left. He did not spray my front yard at all (this is the modt important spot) and never walked on the right side of my property.
I totally understand that the company has little control on the tech integrity while performing a service but a phone call back from a supervisor or manager would have been helpful. Needless to say i canceled my service and customer service did not care or even attempt to try to keep me on board.

I have hired True Green 5 years ago and this past spring. I paid the $1165 up front for a years contract. Every time they come out they do " HALF $#*! WORK " and their manager agrees they do. They always half to do their jobs twice because of their lack of quality! They have came to my house 6 times and did their work and they have ACCOMPLISHED NOTHING!
They said that they would kill the ground ivy and broadleafs weeds and they just sprayed again 3 days ago! They said that their weed killer would NOT KILL my grass; UNFORTUNATELY, my gras is NOW dying! Their manager agrees that he knows what to do to get grass to grow in my lawn; BUT, he says that they can't afford to work that way!
My next step is " DO I SUE THEM "? Would it be worth it? I don't know YET!
Pending on what my lawyer says next week when I see him at MORGAN & MORGAN!
Yellow patches (fertilizer burn) and weeds everywhere and I have been paying for their atrocious service for more than a year. TruGreen is the worst and most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.
The guys treat the grass then there are yellow dead patches all over! They will kill your lawn for real! One season our entire front yard was dead from their treatment. They do a bad job, trust me! And when it comes to scheduling, constant mix-ups. Just a poorly run company.
TruGreen is a rip off. They won't make an appointment with you because they don't want to alert you as to when they are coming so they can claim they treated your yard even when they didn't. In my case, they came and stayed for 6 minutes. They left no signs they had been on the premises. No yard sign. No note on the door. When I looked at my camera I saw the person had stayed just 6 minutes and had not sprayed for weeds and had not even treated the entire front yard. He did not treat the backyard at all because it was locked behind a gate and I had no idea he was coming that day or had even been there at all.
The next visit I was actually there and i saw the TruGreen employee treat my front yard then close the back gate without stepping foot in the backyard. Then he left! I would not recommend this company at all! They are complete tricksters. If you don't have cameras it will be difficult to prove that you are paying them for nothing and your yard will continue to look the same way it always has. DON'T DO IT!
Whatever you do, do not give these monsters your phone number. I reached out for a free quote, but our budget changed shortly after. I politely explained this to the first rep I spoke with on the phone, and asked to be removed from their call list. Its been over a week and they continue to call 3-5x a day from different numbers, and also send multiple text messages from different numbers. I keep blocking them, but they continue. I just got off the phone with them and the prick had the audacity to ask me to be patient since it takes 30 days for their system to remove people. Yet they start calling within minutes of adding you? This is no way to treat potential customers. I will NEVER use their service.

After canceling my service 11 months ago, they showed up without advance notice and charged me. They refused to waive the fee because at the time I canceled, they still owed me two treatments I had already paid for, apparently negating the cancelation in their system. I was never contacted about the subscription being automatically renewed despite my cancellation. Then, after the first person I talked to confirmed he saw the cancellation in my account, the supervisor lied and said there wasn't a note about it. Infuriating.
Oh, and the reason I canceled almost a year ago is because their mosquito treatment service DOES NOT WORK. Do not use TruGreen. Terrible product and even worse customer service.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They have killed my grass and shrubs. When you try calling them you can never get through to a manager or anyone that can help you. They should be responsible for replanting new grass and shrubs since they seem to destroy your yard instead of making it better.
Called Tru Green last year initial phone call said there is nothing they can do for my yard! I had only been in the house one year. So I thought that was it. The next week I got a call from Tru Green in Puyallup Washington. I even went to their office the next day. I asked them to come take a look at my yard see what they can do. Gentleman said all yeah we looked at the aerial photos we should be able to help you out. They would over seed my yard and fertilize it. The yard was fertilized twice before they came out to over seed. When they came out to oversee they told me that I need to replace my yard then they'll come out and over seed. I was upset. Then they sent a gentleman out to explain that there was too much thatch on the yard he also stated it will make a note to bring out extra seed. So I had to get a Thatcher and thatch out the yard. When they came out they did not have extra seed. They told me in 30 days if I have their spots to call them and they will send somebody out. In 30 days I called. Next person you can't came out knew nothing about over seeding. Every person that Tru Green sent out basically gave me lips different stories criticize me for not taking care of my yard. When they told me originally it was a spray they just started putting down dry fertilizer. Yard look like crap called them to do it again they came out yard looked worse. Cancel the service with them. Last week I got an e-mail wanting me to renew my contract with Tru Green. I sent them an e-mail back telling them what I've written above and not to contact me in any way. So what do I get in the mail advertisement from Tru Green directed to me. I guess these people don't care about the environment. It's cheaper and less headaches for me to fertilize my own yard. Use Tru Green at your own risk.
Company was hot and heavy getting our business; the first two applications were fine, but it went downhill from there. Steve, the rep who sold the service, asked that we pay all applications up front, which we did. Several times we had to call for return service about weeds that were not addressed, and when we found bugs, we were told that we were wrong--no bugs. Yes, there were bugs. We reached out for help and tried the suggestions provided, doing what we could to effect better results. When the lawn continued deteriorating, we asked for our money back. Steve went into defensive mode indicating that he didn't have authority to refund applications already made. The corporate office didn't return our calls. Our lawn has never looked worse. We are getting a refund on apps not yet applied, but we've spent money on weed and bug killers. In addition, we are in the process of prepping for reseeding, including renting a thatcher to remove all the dead grass and purchasing grass seed, compost, and fertilizer. Needless to say, we are disappointed with TruGreen.
I can not describe better than, the worse service and the big scam that I had the displeasure to hire. My bad because I never read here before.
I can tell they are good in one thing, that is sell and promise things that they will never do!
To start explaining, big scam because I called to ask about services and prices so:
I talked with Megan over the phone, she promised 10 lawn services + 4 pest control + 6 trees and scrubs services in a year for $ 947.39 paid in one time and I asked SEVERAL times what is the price if I pay monthly and ask for a SMS or E-mail with all the quote.
She told that she will send the guy for the first application for free but she need my credit cart to send this "test", so I gave the card.
After this she "accidentally" charge my card in full when she was trying to check the prices to pay monthly, so this is the beginning, she said sorry and that she can refund but to try this "test" and if I don't like they will refund.
Ok, trying to don't be a bad person I accept, they came the following week, 3 days before the day that I'm writing this.
Now we can start explain why the worse service, I have cameras all over the house so I checked that the guy took less than 5 minutes to spray, did partial spray in the back and "forgot" the other side of my house.
So I called the supervisor, and ask for a cancelation in total.
Today, I looked at my credit card and they refund me charging $ 90.00 for the visit of 5 minutes for a terrible job, terrible because I remove all the weed yesterday, in the area that he did the job in less than 2 minutes, by hand that the "water" that they applied just help the weed grow faster.
I'm writing this because I hang out the phone with them again explain what happened and they said that they will refund half of the service, because they did half of my house.
This is unbelievable, as a service provider that I am, I can't understand how such a company is still in the market, they really have a very good marketing!
This company is a true representation of how every horrible company should run itself. Rude customer service, incompetent lawn workers and managers with false promises. STAY AWAY!
