Honestly the lawn technicians actually do care but management doesn't allow us enough time so blame management

We used there service over a year ago. The company never showed up half the time they where scheduled. Plus the service technician never followed instructions about our fenced in yard. So We canceled the service with specific instructions not to call us or bother us again. Now one year later the company is bombarding my phone and my wife's cellphone constantly! When I call back the guy that answers rudely hangs up on me without saying much. I guess they don't realize caller ID has their number.

I've had trugreen trushield and mosquito service for a 2 months now. I bought their 4 month prepaid service.
First, I have to call them back on a weekly/bi-weekly basis because the ants and mosquitos keep coming back.
Everytime they come, it's a different person, if I'm not home, they don't come in the backyard eventing I leave the gate unlocked and cracked open.
Ok, I try to be home when they come and each time, walk the new guy through my property and instruct them NOT to spray my flowers because I have slot of beds, burglar and hummingbirds.
This week, a new guy shows up, same exercise. Walked him through my backyard, which is big, I have a 16,000 sq. Ft. Lot.
This time, I had to do some stuff inside so I didn't watch everything he did.
Next day, I noticed all of my flowers wilting, within 3 days, ALL of my flowers were gone... wilted away, some of my plants look like their not going to make it as well. I had beautiful Periwinkles, Black eyed Susan's, roses, flowing succulents, Daffodils, lily's, masonic, just to name a few, even my 30 year old beaugonvilla blooms are dead.
I'm beyond upset, I called in and was told a manager would come out within 24 hours, nothing, I called back, after the third time calling, a customer service representative called me and naively advised me of lying... said, "we did 80 homes this week and no one else said we killed their flowers"...
That really upset me, then, she said they would send a manager out within a week...
Anyway, that's where I am, I decided I needed to water my plants down, but the damage is done.
I'm going to cancel my service, ask for a refund of the unused services and tell the world about my experience. Not sure what I can do other than never letting these knuckle needs in my yard again.
Don't trust them, don't use them!

Glad I have camera no-show but charge you. Would be nice if they show up. They do good job when they show up.

This is so far the worst company ever about lawn care. After four applications my yard is still full of huge weeds and the used something that burned and killed a huge proportion of my good grass. Terrible!

I'm only on my second application but both times I watched them out the window and they barely sprayed anything, maybe did 20% of my yard at most and skipped all the places that ACTUALLY HAVE WEEDS. Thos time they sat in their truck for a while, sprayed for a minute in the middle of the front yard, skipped the back, and left a long service summary at my door. I will be cancelling and asking for a full refund cause I could do a better job myself.

Fraudulent service and billing. Coming and charging hundreds even after phone AND email cancellation of service. Even coming weekly@$120-150 each! Beware! First off, I had prepaid for a year my moms house, and my house. Never once did I see improvement in the weeds or ants; in-fact, the ants got worse! Fast forward to a few months ago. I get notice it's my last service (thankfully since I prepaid a year and will never do that again with any company). I talk to a rep on the phone and confirm cancelled. After about a week, both houses get serviced (they never had that type of frequency before as it was monthly). I call and email pretty frustrated about cancelling because this service I didn't even want is over $150! (I prepaid $800 for the whole year!). After confirming cancelled, another service weeks later! Now, I have BBB involved... then, a few weeks later, guess what, I get service today and another $150 bill! Please do yourself a favor. Do NOT use this company. They will create tons of fake debt, which lord knows what they're planning to do. I am submitting complaints now to the attorney general, and the Florida and Pinellas DBPR licensing board.

My yard use to be bright, fresh, and alive. Family get togethers with friends and family. That's until true green came along. During dry June and July weather. They kept over spraying weed killer applications instead of delicately caring for her during stress. I have made a terrible mistake. Two years of give them a chance to care for the environment and they dropped a bomb on it. Hiroshima"d my baby. Truly a nightmare of a company with endless calls for additional treatments and management did everything to disregard my complaints. They where intrusive beyond believe and could not connect the piece. No coordination between team members. One hand didn't know what the other was doing. Don't get yourself involved. It's like a cat you feed and never goes away.

ruGreen representatives Kimberly Hagerty, one "Dale", and a rather adamant and fearless Ashley(Employee Badge 4346) apparently believes that unless a customer has a fence, locked doors, and "no trespass" signs on their property any TruGreen representative can enter the premises, inspect and clip shrubs, and perform any "Upselling" marketing strategies at their whim; this after we expressed that TruGreen marketers and lawn care people were showing up without prior notice, without any prior phone calls, etc. One guy showed up in the neighborhood repeatedly pushing his marketing ploys in an extravagant Mercedes Benz, despite our telling him we were not interested. Another guy called up, without TruGreen notifying us beforehand, and was wandering the premises early in the morning, instilling horrid fear in both spouse and child. Apparently, too much money, time, and overconfidence from a rogue Organization and its employees.

Sorry TruGreen and above named representatives but you're the stars of a Housing Development restraining order to prevent you from harassing innocent families and children with your wanton prostitution of the Law by trespassing and giving legal advice without proper authority and license.

Lawn Destroyers - Last year in 2008 we subscribed to TruGreen Lawn Service for repeat applications of their lawn fertilizer and weed control system that they said was the best. Well, it was the best LIE in the country. Not only did our lawn nearly die out, it was over grown with weeds. TruGreen continually called to offer special applications at added costs and when we complained we had weeds they offered to reapply for a fee. This outfit stole over $950 dollars from my family, before we finally told them to take a hike.
This year, we have spent nearly $80 on Scotts Lawn Fertilizer with Weed Guard and the lawn is starting to regenerate, plus the weeds are starting to shrivel and die. That pretty much tells the story... TruGreen must have been spraying WATER.
TruGreen is a nationally recognized lawn service SCAM Artist, out to make a profit by ripping off their consumer victims. TruGreen, you can kiss my back yard.
