The tree looks healthy but I was amazed how small the caliper of the tree was. I could have bought 3-times the caliper size and twice the height for less money locally. I guess most of the cost is in the FedEx shopping of a tree.

Hope I live long enough to see it actually grow into a real tree from the twig I planted.

They sold me 3 gal plants and sent 2 gal plants. To get a refund took quite a struggle.

Great customer service, friendly people. The fruit trees arrived fine (we bought 4) but some of the root systems were much much smaller than I expected - they seem to be getting new growth and doing ok. We bought a bunch of fruit bushes and some strawberry plants. They were in rough shape a lot of the time they arrived - could have been a FedEx issue bc I'm pretty sure they drop kick it to our front steps. But the soil was mostly spilled out in several plants so their roots were mangled. Other plants arrived and were beautiful. It's hard to tell. I will order from them again in the future but I will be more selective in what I buy bc of how they arrived. But wonderful customer service folks who were very invested in making it right.

Hi, the peony plants that I ordered are covered in little rust colored spots and the buds are dying. I emailed Customer service and followed up to their request for photos of shipping box, plants, etc. 5 days and I haven't heard anything. I understand that FGT might be really busy, but a quick email would be helpful to keep me informed of the situation. They were a gift and now I am stuck with them. Thanks, Heather

Their site was easy to navigate and very well laid out to be able to find and order what I was looking for. The trees that they offer are a little more expensive than some but the three trees I ordered were delivered quickly, well packaged and were in excellent shape when delivered.

I had purchased a couple of coconut trees in early fall. Unfortunately they did not have time to establish a good root system before the winter temperatures arrived. We submitted a warranty request and received a credit for the purchase of new trees the same day we submitted it. The new trees arrived within a few days and appear to be doing well.

Expecting 1-2 ft with more mass. I received twigs. All 12 were just about 12" or smaller.

My tree came with all the leaves but 1 on the bottom of the box. 3 weeks later, it seems dead. I'm very dissatisfied. Will call customer service to see if they can help me.

It was completely dead when it arrived at my home.

The trees have been in the ground a few days. They are doing well at this time.

The smaller Bing Cherry tree had come loose form it's strapping and was moving around inside the box. It is now dying.

The plants purchased did not all make it through the winter. Plants purchased from other venfors did great.

For background, I spend a significant amount on plants every year and I am fairly familiar with the general pricing and sizing of most plants. I also hardly every give reviews, but this is simply a measurement for how disappointed I am. The prices on FastGrowingTrees are similar to what I would see at local nurseries so I expected to see similar quality. I bought from FastGrowingTrees once several years ago and received a flowering cherry during the heat of the summer, 4 or 5 months after I placed the order. Needless to say, it did not survive, but I was willing to try again. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in the shaping, grafting, and pruning of both weeping varieties that I received (Snow Fountain Weeping Cherry, Crimson Cascade Weeping Peach). For the price ($250), the weeping cherry should have been significantly better. I actually was so disappointed that I went to a local nursery the same day and spent the same amount on a far superior specimen of weeping cherry that was beautifully pruned, grafted and shaped. The Crimson Cascade is very sad, the leaves look like they may have gone through a freeze during transport or the plant dried out. It was dry on arrival. Similar to the Cherry, it is pruned poorly and is underdeveloped for the height. I'll try to nurse that one along since I can't get that new variety elsewhere. The barbery I was sent was decent for the size, but had a significant amount of dead wood present-- It will likely be fine, but I would have passed it by at a nursery. The crabapple was 'ok'. I should have just bought it locally, I would have been able to get a superior specimen for the same price locally -- but at least it is healthy and will likely grow out fine. Like the others, it is awkwardly tall and poorly developed for its height. The only tree that matched my expectations was the Autumn Cherry, which is in good health and arrived early enough for it to hopefully transplant successfully. So, moral of the story, given that the plants are mailed in boxes and therefore they need to be shaped to fit in said boxes, I should have known better and will not shop here again as these are not the type of quality that I look for in my garden. They weren't even more cost effective. They did ship at the right time for my zone, and were well packaged.

Shopping for and ordering the tree was simple and easy. Tree arrived fast and packaged well. It is thriving in the garden.
