It's important that the trees and shrubs arrive not looking stressed from the heat of shipping. I still need to have two redbuds replaced that ultimately didn't survive and died within 2 weeks and 2 months I'm not sure why that is I don't know that something I did if they were not healthy shock transplanting.
Only once did I have an issue with an order. I sent pictures and my replacement was soon on its way.
I bought all the trees in my yard from FGT. I have only encountered 1 problem, My claim for a dead tree was denied
I have bought two David Austin roses from this company and they have been outstanding! And I got a sweet Mademoiselle Rose, which was beautiful, too. My husband has also ordered a Japanese maple and it was gorgeous.
Majority of plants came delivered as expected and trying the ones that were root bound since we have the year to thrive warranty.
Experience mostly positive. Some trees are really small & it's taking longer for them to grow than I thought. Bought 7 Hollie's last year & only 3 may survive so that wasn't great. I've purchased 7 arborvitae's & this is year 3 & they are still so skinny & not that much taller than when received. Got 8 ligustrums did beautiful last year then I think due to winter they lost all leaves so the screen I wanted may not happen but we'll see this winter. I've had to transplant a few & most have done okay but I did loose one.
I've received most plants in good shape while others were damaged due to shipping or weather.
Eastern Redbud arrived very well packaged in perfect health. The tree was the 5'-6' category. 6 weeks after planting, it was thriving. An "almost tornado" -- 75-80 Mph sustained winds for aprrox. 15 minutes accompanied by torrential rain downpour could not hurt this "warrior". At one point during the 75-80 MPH winds the poor tree was almost bent down at a 45-55 degree angle. I am glad I did a good job staking it. The following day the "warrior" tree was in perfect condition and standing perfectly straight. This tree was planted in memory of my recently deceased Mom. I planted some of her ashes along with Root Rocket. I believe she helped anchor down the Eastern Redbud! My Mom would be proud.
My first purchase were 20 Thuja Green Giant Arborvitae. Very pleased I ordered mid spring. I followed all of the directions provided along with my mother's lol and they're all doing very well. I had originally purchased from Home Depot (10) five out of the 10 fell asleep and never woke up. I returned them and came back to Fast Growing Trees to replant ones I know will live.
Very satisfied with quality of plant received. A company that looks after the nursery. Quality care with packing, handling &shipping.

Good quality plants. Delivery people turned boxes upside down and sideways but plants survived their abuse!
I have been using Fast Growing Trees for several years now as I work to replace/redo the landscaping in the front of my home. It was originally all builder-grade, run-of-the-mill landscaping that was old and poorly manicured. So I ripped it all out and started replacing everything with the help of FGT. From fruit trees, to California Cypress, to decorative grasses, FGT has helped my vision for my front yard makeover come true. I just installed 2 new beautiful dwarf Japanese Maples to flank both sides of the staircase, and I am so excited to watch them fill in the space. Every year as the new plants mature and the new landscape takes shape, I always turn to FGT for my next step or to further recognize my vision. They are quick, efficient, and well-priced compared to other similar sites. My only problem is that now that my front yard is almost done, I am starting to look at my side yard and getting new ideas to rip out everything in the side yard and redesign it with the help of FGT. I recommend them to anyone and everyone who is doing landscaping or just bought a home. Basically anyone who will listen.
Customer service is good but do not agree with the policy and the product seems to be the best
Shipping was quick, one plant was in rough shape, but they both pulled through, and are looking good so far.
Be honest to customers and don't dupe them in the warranty scam. I wish they refund my 3 year warranty I purchased by paying additional money. I was totally unaware of the shipping costs. Customer service sucks. No empathy towards customers at all. They are ONLY focused on money making and how to dupe customers in so called "free warranty".
The 4 in 1 apple tree arrived with three broken-over branches. I put splints on all three and hopefully will survive.
The satsuma arrived fine.
Easy peezy, order, they come, you plant and water, they grow and give you delicious fruit the same year! A long as you get 3+ footers
