I got a notice that BA had cancelled my flight. When I tried to go on the Travelgenio site to rebook, I could not get any of the buttons to work. When I found the customer service email address, I was sent a link to contact them. Of course this link did not work. Now I don't know what to do to either rebook or cancel. Total nightmare! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Website didn't work to make any updates or changes to ticket and no way to contact them. I guess it's OK if no hiccups in trip but utterly useless if any plans change.
I booked a flight last week and had to cancel my flight for a number of valid reasons. When I called them, they didn't even have it on record that I not only paid for the extra refundable package (free cancelation. Free changing of flight). They wanted me to pay an additional $250 a person to cancel the flight and only get a portion of the ticket even when I have proof that I paid. To change the flight, they wanted me to pay an addition $2000 which was basically getting a whole new flight all together. MAJOR RED FLAG! They claim that they'll call back, they never do. They are just money chowers and cannot be trusted. I only realized after reading many, and I mean many reviews that this is actually one big giant scam. I have emailed them and of course, no response either. Do not buy ANYTHING from them.
Their customer service is almost non existent. There was just a robot who couldn't even read my emails. The response time was also very big. It was like I was talking with the walls. I couldn't solve anything through them. I wanted to change the dates of my flight. Before asking for the change I looked up if there we're available flights on their site for the dates I wanted and there were. Same airline, same timetable just different date. They replied that there were no available flights for that date. I send them a print screen with the results on their site. I got the exact same reply (copy-paste) as before. Definitely a human being did not read my email. I asked for other 5 dates to check availability (on their site they were all available). I never got an answer back.
Bought luggage with a travel purchase. Informed afterwards I'd have to buy it separately at high rate. Not offered refund, stonewalled by customer service.
Do not book from Travel Genio. Friendly warning, Book at your own risk. Rude and unhelpful. Rather pay more and get a better outcome.

Mon billet A/R Paris-Bangkok sur Thai Airways acheté sur le site Travel Genio a été annulé en Avril 2020 suite au COVID (Ref APNPOK). Après de nombreuses relances, je n'ai toujours pas reçu mon remboursement, alors que des connaissances ont eut le leur pour un vol aux mêmes dates et sur la même compagnie il y a des mois maintenant, ce qui appuie d'autant plus mon indignation par rapport à mon dossier. Je dénonce leurs pratiques douteuses, leur manque de transparence et un service client déplorable qui n'est pas digne d'une entreprise qui se prétend sérieuse.

This company does not respond to its mistakes in connections. Their customer service does not resolve anything. I had issues with a connection, and after 30 mins calling them, they were not able to reschedule a flight, I was the one that found and bought the new tickets.
The refund is a nightmare, I'm still trying to get my money back.
Update:
After more than 6 months, NO refund has been executed (even when I had 3 different email threads with the "agents/customer service"). I think my money is lost.

I have been trying to find the email or contact number of Travelgenio in its website. All I find are FAQs. I need to contact them regarding the flight I purchased from them but the "Contact Us" button only shows the FAQs.

The worst 3rd party I have ever dealt with. There was 1 letter missing from my surname at time of booking. They refused to reissue a ticket with the correct spelling (even though I would pay a fee) and then when I wanted to cancel the ticket then there was no refund. Absolutely appalling service, every person I spoke to said a different thing. Money down the drain, I have never ever come across such a poorly run business in my life. Disappointed and angry is an understatement and I will endeavour to take this further. Do not use them! I won't make that mistake again

I bought tickets and had to cancel because the organiser of the event cancelled the event. I immediately cancelled my tickets on the day "Which was a month before the actual trip". I submitted all the relevant information and still no response. No communication whatsoever. I went to go check my refund status and they telling me "I haven't cancelled my reservation". When I try to apply for a new refund it tells me I have already submitted an application. This is a really bad service to use for any trip. I wouldn't recommend at all.

My reservation confirmed by Travelgenio same date of booking and payment.
The date of flight Travelgenio sent me an email advising my booking was cancelled
By Travelgenio due to lack of information I had sent them previously.
Email stated Travelgenio was processing a refund to me.
When calling Travelgenio Customer Service today -21NOV22-, they state
There was no email sent to me!
Am forwarding to the provided email at Travelgenio the email I received.
I expect a resolution by Travelgenio to at least refund the money I paid to
Them, not referring to the big problem Travelgenio put me to make a new
Booking at a higher price the same day of the flight.

Horrible, you may pay a little less but their website claims wrong information on certain services. Wanted to book my flight and even pay for extra bags and only option i had was to purchase special services which indicates if you want to add extra bags to purchase that. Turns out it is for them to make a request not the bags to be added on. I had to buy extra bag allowance and did on my own as their bag fee was more than the airline website. I also couldn't pay for my own seat, my ticket would not allow it and even speaking directly to the airline, they could not help as this agency put some kind of lock on the ticket. 24 hr check in i also could not change my seat for free as once again this lock was on it so stuck with horrible seating. Worst agency stay away from them.

Was asked to pay a penalty which cost more than the original ticket price. Yet I paid extra to avoid to such. Never again will I use them. Wouldn't recommend either.

Travelgenio refused to refund when the airline offered to refund
- My KLM flight from AMS to LDN on 4 December 2022 has been canceled and KLM kindly offered to cancel the whole trip (with a full refund)
- Since I booked the flight through Travelgenio, I had to reach out to KLM through the agent (Travelgenio)
- Travelgenio is refusing to make a claim on my behalf telling me that the ticket is non-cancellable / non-modifiable
Travelgenio does not even care enough to provide a human response. I am always receiving automated responses that I have to talk to the airlines directly. Infuriating!
Will raise a dispute with Amex and ask them to blacklist Travelgenio. Definitely, there is no intent to refund the customer's money here.

Travelgenio# this third party airline tickets company is shameful and undeserving of my business. Be ware when using this company because you are in for a headache. Poor customer service and they will Nickel and dime you for every cent. Do not use this company!

VERY BAD,,, UNABLE TO CONTACT TRAVELGENIO AND NO ANSWER TO EMAILS
Travelgenio send me an email saying that my tickets have been cancelled but since then no more information has been given about the refund, and this was in OCT 2022. The flight was with Qatar Airways for the 28 Oct 2022 from DOHA to ALGERIA.
I have cancelled my trip and asked lot of times both Qatar Airways and TravelGenio for refund,,, but no usefull actions from both parties!
This is an irresponsible behavior from both of Qatar Airways and TravelGenio...

I did booked a return ticket in July of 2022.
Upon Reaching the airport on the the day of travel i was informed at the check in counter that no reservation has been done even though I received a PNR number.
There is no way you can contact any of the agents of this website or get in touch with them through any other means.
The airline informed me that this website is not trusted and i am not the first one to face this.
Beware don't use this.

They do actually do the refund on genuine reason and this is why I am giving travelgenio site a 4 star for their professionalism

Dont be fool by thier low price adds
These are scammers and they will do everything possible to take away your money.
Refund team take ages to resolve your refund
As per their policy they do refund if we are covid possitive but even if you are covid possitive they dont care and will never return your money.
They should be banned and reported for cyber crime.
Even if you provide them doctors note and prescription they will ask for more documents and extend your wait time so that they dont have to cancel the flight before time.
Tried to modify dates, cancel, and got results like this back:
