Thank you so much Nancy. I had no idea that our poodle puppy was craving our attention and I was rewarding the bad behaviour whenever she jumped on us. We implemented the ignoring method and within an hour she stopped. I would have continued to reward the bad behaviour had I did not read your email. Thank you again

I did read your first 2 emails in preparation of us receiving our 7 week old Husky, Diesel, this coming weekend. The tips you gave me worked like a charm. Chase is actually a Labradoodle. 4 months, extremely intelligent, born and raised in a barn until I got him. He only had one accident in the house and was completely housebroken in 2 days. His buddy is a Maltese he loves to hump, and Charlie snaps at him every time and growls. I was told it's a status thing on who's dominant. Your tips worked great. Thank you so very much.

I am really appreciating this assistance as I didn't realize how particular one must be in training this breed. He is actually half Aussie too but I feel the Border Collie is the predominant gene! I find everything very helpful such as how to train the dog to not jump up and how to teach the dog that I am the alpha dog. So far, all advice has already helped us in training our pup, thank you!

Thank you so much for you help. I had no idea what I was doing at first, i was really confused and Reggie kept jumping around and biting me...all your help and advices makes sense now, we have seen a few behaviour changes now. Reggie's jumping habit is decreasing...and we have been taking a lot of time to play with him and he even learned to fetch the ball to get a toy or to get a reward :)

I am really glad I have been getting the emails. I have learned things I never knew. I especially liked the advice about acknowledging bad behavior. I wasn't aware that I was giving Hazel the attention she wanted by telling her no or pushing her down when she is jumping on me.

Thank you very much for all the emails I appreciate it a lot. Frauke is a very excited Schnauzer unlike her older sister Blemchen and we do struggle to train her. However, your tips help me a lot and with a lot of patience we are getting there. I am not exactly sure how to get her to do the right things but we do ignore her when she jumps up.

I found the email very helpful as my lovely Muska used to jump at me every time she see me but since I noticed that it's because of wanting to have my attention I can now say that I'm seeing some improvement thought I still need to work hard on improving her into a great friend.
