Top services, top professionals! I thought I was rather familiar with job applications, resumes and stuff. I knew nothing, in fact :) The new CV rewritten by a professional, the cover letter, the thank you letter, the mock interview session, all of these showed me just how important details can be. I discussed with fantastic people, the feedback was great, the communication was great, all the advice I got was great. I want to thank all the people I was in contact with, hopefully my chances to find the desired job will now dramatically increase!

I had the initial assessmet of my resume completed through a link on Ladders and the comments were promising. I then paid for an updated resume and the person assigned was awful. They used incorrect years for my employment (unacceptably careless) even though it was clear on the original resume. I have a background in accounting and finance. The person tried to combine many unrelated roles and demonstrated no understanding of this field. I provided comments including the correct work years and it took 48 hours to respond with a comment that asked me to provide the correct work years and for the information I already provided. I sent an email to my initial contact complaining. It took days for her to respond with an offer for a more experienced person to take over the account but no one ever did.
All responses come around 3am EST which leads me to believe that this is nothing more than a contracted out business with no real insight being provided. I would never recommend spending $149 for this basic service and would not trust them with the additional work they try to sell.

I paid for the highest package as well as $75 for priority delivery and I got a poorly written CV that was full of grammatical errors, the writer butchered my original CV, threw out important experience points and after 5 days got the same with a bunch of comments and only a title change. I also didn't get a LinkedIn profile makeover by the deadline so other than a cover letter, I didn't receive what I paid for. Their writers are poor and they have zero customer service. No one has responded to my complaint to date, and I think they are buying time till the edit window closes. Stay away and save your money as I feel that I was robbed by professional scammers!

Easy, fast and efficient. Resume looks more professional and geared directly to my desired job outcome! The addition of the cover letter, Thank you letter AND LinkedIn reboot was amazing.

Submitted my order, gave them all of the info they asked for within a day, wrote my writer a day after my draft was due (2 weeks later) and got no response. Gave another 4 days and called their support staff who told me they'd assign me a new writer. New writer turned my resume and cover letter around in 24 hours, however it had grammar mistakes, punctuation errors and read very awkwardly. (I paid for their executive package and someone fresh out of university could have written a more compelling resume.)

I called to complain and ask for a refund, they sent it to their accounting team who denied my refund and told me I could have 40% back. I started commenting on their Twitter posts about my experience and within two days I talked to Jennifer, their operations manager. She was polite and listened and asked if there was anything she could do. I told her no and that I wanted a refund. A couple days later I got an email saying they would process my refund in 5-10 business days. It's now a month later, I don't have a refund and their customer support team isn't responding to my messages. I have to file a chargeback because in the next few days I'll be beyond my ability to do so.

Terrible quality of work, awful customer service and absolute incompetence.

I ordered the most expensive resume package that is "guaranteed" to produce results and done by the "top 10% of our network". I went through 3 different resume writers, each process taking a week or two, and every single result was significantly worse than the original resume I provided them to begin with. After 3 failed results I asked for my money back and they refused. This service is basically a scam. They take your money, produce terrible crap, then refuse to give your money back when you aren't happy.
