I expected more. I put my resume out on indeed, USA jobs I am I did not get as many hits as I was thinking I was going to get. In fact I got more hits from the resume I created myself. So I asked a couple of friends to review it. They thought it was too vague and not enough action words were used to be counted by resume readers.
I was provided with a tailored resume, perfectly structured and incredible formatting that helped set my resume apart. I was extremely impressed when I received my first draft and my final, throughout the whole process my writer was very accommodating, making the process go a lot smoother. I will continue to utilize TopResume in the future should the need arise.
Adrian did a great job of updating my resume to include what I expressed to him. It looks more current and highlights my accomplishments.
Historically I've felt that anyone who felt they couldn't construct their own resume' was likely not qualified for a job where one would be required. But my position on this changed as online screening technology like the ASC screening software and recruiter networks took ownership of the majority of job opportunities and impressive as my resume' wasn't being reviewed. I had my resume' written by a resume' service a few years prior to using TopResume' and I must say, the writer assigned to me understood my work experience and skill sets much better than the previous service and produced a resume' much sooner than the previous service. My writers product put a fresh new look to my resume', succinctly conveying my skills sets, accomplishments and education on the first page which is saying something because I have a rather accomplished 30 year career. I've only just begun submitting this new resume' so it is too soon to say whether or not this new and improved version will help get me a job, but so far I'm happy.

Basically the resume writer will ask you what you want to put on the resume and use the expect same language that you gave them. If that's the case I would have wrote my own resume

Overall it was a pretty good experience. The writer did a great job at articulating my strengths in a way I never would have been creative enough to do. I didn't ask him to change the spelling and grammatical errors because I thought that was a given and did not want to offend since it was the rough draft but the final draft had the same grammatical and spelling errors. It was an easy fix but for the price you'd think it wouldn't need to be fixed.
