My experience with TopResume started out slow but ended with a great experience. The website says you should get your first draft within 5-7 business days but I did not receive my first draft until almost two weeks after I submitted all my materials. After I received my first draft, the process escalated quickly. My resume writer did an EXCELLENT job on my resume and cover letter. I was very pleased and finalized my resume and cover letter within a week after receiving the first draft. I was so impressed I bought the additional package to include my LinkedIn makeover. I was surprised the LinkedIn makeover was just a copy and paste of my resume but it was still better than what it was previously. Overall, I would definitely recommend TopResume - just give yourself plenty of time to go through the process.
I have been working on a career change and had an outdated resume with no idea how to communicate my skill set to make me look as experienced as someone already in the Environmental field. My re-done resume looks professional, sounds better, and has a format that I believe would be more appealing to any company looking at it. My cover letter was short in the beginning and didn't seem to explain much detail or give much information on my skill set but after working with my TopResume editor, she was able to provide a more detailed cover letter that highlighted my experience. TopResume's assistance made my resume more professional and visually attractive. Their service was not perfect though, as editors are not guaranteed to be familiar with the resume convention in each and every industry, it helped me secure offers to some extent. I am satisfied overall.
I had a very positive experience with Top Resume. I found them to be very professional and delivered exactly what was promised a day earlier than expected.
TopResume is a total scam. I resubmitted a resume through thier online submission critique. They rated the resume very low, my resume is more of a doer instead of an achiever. The same response you get if you submit a resume through TopResume, in order for you to consider TopResume to rewrite your bad resume. The funny thing is that the resume TopResume grated so low was the same resume they done for me a month ago. They rated their own resume as terrible. And my resume, according to TopResume, was written by their top 10 best writers. Total scam. If anyone has gone through TopResume, resubmit the exact resume that TopResume created for you through their critique site. They will say it needs to be redone. Even weeks later since I resubmitted the resume they are sending me offers to get the resume rewritten because it's not competitve and my resume needs to be written by professionals like people from TopResume.
The turn-a-round on my resume was fantastic, even without the upgraded package. I was struggling with getting the proper wording and not getting many hits. I broke down and spent the money to have a professional write my resume and I was not disappointed. Great Job!
My new CV is professional, straight to the point, focuses on my achievements. The writer who worked on it was ready to answer any of my CV-related questions and advise me.
They did a good job rewriting my resume; it saved me a significant amount of time and appears to read more professional. However, don't expect them to know about your specific industry. You'll have to go back and make edits that are specific to your field.
Also, don't bother to pay to be signed up for the multiple job sites. It's non-stop spam and the lack of relevant job searches is laughable (ex: 'Funeral Director'. Really?)
My resume wasn't doing it for me. No matter how many times I tried to amend it, it never generated the results I wanted. I signed on with TopResume, and it was my best decision. The process was very simple and my writer, Nicole, provided an exceptional resume. It really captured me and my work ethic to a tee! I'm sure my new and improved resume will generate the results I'm looking for! I highly recommend TopResume!

It's a scam. I made the purchase and did not receive anything for 10 days. One lousy email from a Shanna Galbreath that says she will send my first draft "tomorrow". And we all know that tomorrow never comes.
I had a multi-page draft with quite a bit of redundant information. The resume writer consolidated like topics and shrunk my resume to a more acceptable 2 page document. I was amazed.
Resume is beautiful. Much better than I could do! The resume writer was fast, professional and responded to questions and requests for revisions in a timely fashion. I am very happy with the results.
Top resume did a wonderful job with my resume. It is 100% professional looking and far better than I could have done on my own! They not only took the care to do a wonderful job, but my resume writer also reminded me that if I wanted any changes done I needed to do so by August 31st. She kept me on task and sent more than one reminder. Even though I waited till the last moment she still was able to adjust my resume and only needed one adjustment. I would recommend them to anyone!
