Top Hatter is a good place to bid on items at decent prices. The reason I only give 4 instead of 5 stars is Top Hatter needs to do a better job at preventing sellers from cancelling winners auctions when a bidder wins something at a low price. The seller agrees to sell the item if won at that price and it isnt right if they get away with doing this. This has happen three times to me, with one of the times only being yesterday! Sellers should be banned from selling when they do this because it will completely ruin Top Hatters reputation if this keeps happening. Other than that it is a good place to bid on items.
On April 6th 2020. I was to receive a credit of $8.56 in my checking. Instead I was charged 2 more times. Instead of crediting my checking. So a total of ***3*** credits of $8.56 each needs to be refunded to my checking account! I have contacted Tophatter 3-4 times concerning this matter. I'm disappointed that **NO ONE** from Tophatter has made this Correction. I am a frequent shopper of Tophatter. If I'm not Contacted by Tophatter by phone. *******836. I will post on Facebook all my Letters and Attempts to rectify this situation.
I began shopping tophatter just as the virus broke out so my packages took awhile to arrive but once I began to get them I was pretty happy with most my purchases. The shower head I got was alot smaller then the one shown. Things don't come complete-like no charger, or battery pack. But for the most part I like it.
Very Very late with orders. Says it will be here on a date didn't show. Now it's another month before it going get here.

Tophatter is a great a fun bidding site and customer support has been great too.
The jewelry i purchased turn within one week and some before I even wore it sorry Tophatter
I order a ring in April that was suppose to deliver on May 3 I still have not received my item they said they would refund my money on June 9 I'm still waiting then they say they will issues me a refund June 23 I'm not about to play with them and some of the stuff that I have received is fake not like they stated before I paid for it I'm guess I will be calling the better business bureau on them as well

It takes a while to get the stuff but when it gets here it's worth the way if I have any issues they do not hesitate to return the items I'm not happy with
I worn a lot of items that I paid for, up to date has not received a lot of them.No telephone number to contact anyone. When sent email, you only received your item is on the way. I can never shop on Tophatter again. The worst place I have ever shopped and the worst place to shop.
I have items I have bid on that I should have gotten months ago but I still have not received them. No one should have to wait 1 month to 6 months to get the items they bid on. Then some of my things that I was really looking forward to they didnt come and I got refunds as credits. They dont give anyone any kind of compensation for the crap they go through just to get there stuff.

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
