I have not had a reason for needing a CV, so thats why I asked CVNow to help and critique my CV. Cvnow offer an excellent, really useful service for job seekers or those looking to firm up their cv. Their free critique is measured and insightful, with a razor sharp focus on any perceived shortcomings along with suggestions for putting them right. I received a reply within the day, which I definitely didn't expect given the depth of the assessment.
They also offer a professional rewrite service although this does cost. But if it helps your cv to stand out in the crowded job market then its well worth the reasonable cost. I plan to make use of this aspect of the service myself.

Their answer to my request was very quick and honest. I really felt that the critique was very specific and directed to my needs. They were really professional and at the same time personal. I totally recommend their service, the only reason why I didn't hired their service it's was because of my financial status.
I got in touch with Kate Warren, who was obviously a bot. Despite noticing this I went on and payed the service and after a longer time than what I was promised I received my CV which was not well written at all. I am not a native English speaker and I could spot so many mistakes! Furthermore, the CV was extremly long and I got tired of reading it and I think many hiring mangers as well since I didn't get that many job interviews as they promise.

I fell for the speil of their "professional looking CV review" only to be conned out of £99 for their "An expertly written and keyword-optimised CV that sets you apart". 1st draft, full of spelling and grammatical errors, 2nd draft exactly the same, with none of the errors corrected even after being pointed out. No refund despite company accepting the "An expertly written and keyword-optimised CV that sets you apart." was nothing of the sort. Until I receive a full apology and a full refund I will make it my life's mission to expose this comapny for the con artists they apparantly are happy to be seen as. CVNow, you are on notice.
