WORST SERVICE - DO NOT BUY AND GET FOOLED BY THE "ALL SALES ARE FINAL"! TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THE LACK OF QUALITY! Worth it ONLY if you have a very basic role description and WANT TO HAVE AN OLD SCHOOL MICROSOFT WORD CV!

They sell the service quite well with the free review of your CV but once you buy it and get the final result, the CV looks and reads badly. It seems like people do it in a day, rushing, after you wait ages for a writer to be assigned to you, without taking time to get to know the customer and write appropriately in a way that highlights the candidate. My writer had no experience in Financial Services, wrote a lot of sentences that made no sense (plain wrong!), and I had to request another writer to redo my CV = this is how bad it was! It was FAR from being, for example, a matter of "editing the final CV for my liking". The format and templates are also old school, in a Word document, with no proper formatting (!), while they sell "a modern look" in the free review of the CV! I did my own template after purchasing the service and had to redo the content as it was really bad. People that review your CV have no background on your industry (again, as differently sold!) and write wrong content!

AND BE CAREFUL THAT ALL SALES ARE FINAL! SO NO REFUNDS! EVEN WHEN YOU DID NOT USE THE SERVICE YET (For example, the LinkedIn "makeover")! THEY DO IT ON PURPOSE AS THE QUALITY IS SO BAD THAT EVERYONE WOULD WANT A REFUND!

I have literally wasted A LOT OF MONEY on this. PLEASE DO NOT DO THE SAME MISTAKE AND GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY!

I can only presume that any good reviews have been written by TopCV staff...
I joined this group for the same reason as everyone else does. I have a time critical job application waiting to be sent off.
I joined this group on the top tier and to date have not had the promised phone call, no promised email, (except one apologising for there being no contact after I complained), and no draft C.V.
I am still within the 14 day cooling off period and they have until the end of today to respond or I will cancel and recall my payment.

Don't be a fool like me and pay these criminals to smarten up your CV. I was dumb enough to fall for their slick campaign, thank goodness I didn't pay for their premium package. The first CV was full of inaccuracies and what I best describe as masturbatory language. My corrections, suggestions, and questions were ignored as the second draft was barely different. On my complaint, they offered a 'new' writer - this was more than three weeks ago. My request for a refund - ignored.

They are also very shifty when I asked about their company status in the UK; only gave an address of a shared office but no more info - the fact is they don't have one. Their 'parent' company Talent Inc is in New York and if you check out posts about Top Resume on Quora you see they are shifty there too. So without a legal entity in UK or EU it be difficult to hold them to count.

So if you are foolhardy enough or believe the fake 5-stars reviews, just remember if it goes all pear shape they refuse (legally or not) to refund you. Hopefully the police will pick up on this scam.

The experience i got was superb, first the CV critique from Katie showed me that my CV was not good enough. I was assigned good writers for my CV, Cover letter and LinkedIn profile, 1st draft they nailed and i wondered why i had never thought of writing like that? Honestly I never knew to sell my skills/brand.
