The sentence "for a professional with 4 years of experience, your CV undersells you" definitely opened my eyes. Far from helping me, my CV was playing against me. I was communicating a confusing idea of what I am and what I want in my professional life, with operational skills instead of managerial skills. I presented myself as a "doer" instead of as an "achiever". I have carried out the several changes suggested in my CV critique and now I am far more confident with it since it has now a cleaner and more structured presentation and it is much more "light", but effective. This is a scam. I did a better job doing my own cv. I am a process improvements expert and they changed my words to make me sound like a strategy expert.

My friend in HR said she would reject my CV if I send her this format, it's too chaotic and recruiter has to hunt for information which no recruiter has time for.

I was told I will have an expert on Swiss German market, she obviously did not have any idea. Her CV writing skills were not only terrible, but not even catered to the Swiss market.

I'm so angry and disappointed for wasting my money on this company.

A truly dreadful experience. I gave them a reasonable CV and they sent me back one full or structural, grammatical and spelling errors that primary school student wouldn't make. The communication process is slow and the person doesn't listen. Clearly the person doing the additional CV doesn't read any of the content sent. I asked to cancel very early on and got told they would only refund 30% of the original price. So whats the point - you may swell carry on. They changed the writer and the experience didn't get any better. STAY AWAY AND SAVE YOUR MONEY

The first recruiter they provided me did an awful, embarrassing work. I would say my CV was not even wrote in English.
I wrote them and they kindly put me in contact with a different writer who did a very good job and was extremely professional and supportive (he did more than he was required to do). So, to make it short:
1) if you do not like the service received, just tell them and insist so to get a better result.
2) first experience: mark 0; second experience: mark 5. The medium would be 2,5 but given that the second writer was so good, I prefer to give them a 3 star as a medium.

I am a solicitor and I have been working in the field (corporate finance) in international law firms for the past 6 years. I contacted TopCv because I was looking to smarten up and refresh my CV before starting my job hunt. I received the first draft nearly three weeks after the first submission. Both CV and cover letter were a disaster: typos, mistakes, no understanding of the field's legal jargon, inaccurate factually (although the experiences were clearly set out both in the resume I sent them and also in the questionnaire I provided them with). The writer clearly had no understanding of the sector I operate in and it clearly showed. I sent them a mark-up and explained that i essentially had to re-write the CV and told them I needed to be paired with someone who had expertise in the legal sector in order to receive a product that I could use. They simply came back with a clean copy of my CV incorporating some of my comments. The final product cannot be used not only in the legal sector, but also in any other fields. A complete disaster - I would definitely stay away form them.

I signed up with TopCV to help me rewrite my CV and introduction letter since I have been using my own written CV with no luck grabbing a job so far. At first it took like ages (couple of days) to find the suitable writer for me but once it was done, I was very much please with how things went from a long time wait to couples of days landing the perfect CV (at least to my knowledge of). The employee who handled my CV and Letter was very top and gave me the chance to present my self the way I wanted based on my career experience. No matter what the outcome of a recruiter or employer will be, I am very please with the work done and will not hesitate to recommend TopCv to any friend or family.
I happy because I have a top CV now.

Initial email fell into my junk folder and I was skeptical to start with. So, I got rid of the daily 'bitcoin', 'bingo' and 'equity release' nonsense and thought 'what the...' let's give it a go.
I've not been happy with the feedback I've been receiving or lack of it regarding my cv from numerous applications when I know I can do the job advertised so I held my breath...
24 hours later I received a full, free review with some excellent pointers.

I was completely satisfied with the services provided by this company. They assigned a very talented and professional writer for doing my papers. In the Web I saw a lot of negative reviews about this company telling that they hire writers from 3rd world countries just because their services cost little, but I may assure you that I got papers written in native English language.
As for the deadlines, as wasn't in a hurry, so after 2 weeks from the order placing I got what I wanted.
I highly recommend this company if you need a professionally written CV.

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPAY YOUR MONEY! THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE AND WILL IGNORE ANYTHING YOU SAY_ ITS ALMOST LIKE TALKING TO A ROBOT.

I ASKED FOR A REFUND AFTER 7 DAYS AND THRY STALLED IN RESPONDING TO MY REQUEST AND FINALLY AFTER 14 DAYS SAID THEY WOULD PASS MY REQUEST TO THE REFUND DEPARTMENT.

THEY THEN SAID 3 DAYS LATER THEY DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS - SO WHY DO THEY HAVE A REFUND DEPARTMENT!

I BELIEVE YOU ARE ENTITLED TO A REFUND WITHIN 14 DAYS BUT THEY PURPOSELY STALL YOU.

THEY QUOTED AFTYER REWRITING MY CV THAT I WORKED FOR THE US ARMY! I NEVER HAVE - I AM BASED IN THE UK AND WORK IN FINANCE AND ALWAYS HAVE!
