I have never heard of this service before and did not read reviews before using the service.
I did free CV review and found it very informative and to the point. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of helpful tips the reviewer provided me with. It made me realize how indeed ineffective and underselling my CV was. I also liked that my CV was passed through the scanning software that hiring managers use. I was shocked by the results and intend to rewrite my CV.

Do not buy, any positive reviews are fake. They stick your details into a bot or something because what is produced dosnt make sense and is not usable, it also didn't even look good. Don't make the same mistake I did. I used this to try and improve my CV after graduating to get my first job but instead Iv just wasted money I can't afford to lose. They completely ignore any amendments you say to make as well because I outlined how what was said didn't make sense and it was still there in the rewrites. EG. They put a section in called expertise, now Iv not really got expertise in anything but this was just a long list of buzzwords that didn't apply to me or my job at all like staff coordination and things I had mentioned observing on uni placement I was now an expert in actually performing the procedure.

This is TOTAL BUL$#*!, you will receive automated non-personal (as promised) communication and your collaboration in CV writing won't occur. TOP.CV is IGNORING client's suggestions, NOT answering e-mails as it is promised in their automated e-mail system and as a result YOU ARE RECEIVING KIND OF AUTOMATED TEMPLATE of your CV. I am wondering about so many positive reviews here, it seems that all are FAKE. I have bought TOP.CV PREMIUM package (EUR 349,-), but the description of the service haven't matched at all!

Absolutely appalling. The sales pitch is a stark difference to the actual delivered product. The CV created was even worse than my previous one! I asked to be downgraded to the lowest plan (which is far too expensive for the quality of the premium product) as a compromise, and have had no response except to threaten me with collection agencies. There's no way to contact or escalate to management. So now I'm faced with collections agency or pay for a ridiculous amount for a service that's not been delivered.

This is excellent. Not only are the reviews fast, they offer sound advice on how to improve and enhance your current CV, which is all done free of charge!

I appreciates the time and effort taken to review and even offers areas to improve on even though I am not a paying customer. Advices given are also straight to the point.

The advices has helped tremendously and has helped me discover the flaws and improvement areas of my CV. These will definitely help increase my chance of employment.

Highly reccomend especially if you are a fresh graduate who has no idea how to write or improve on your CV.

While applying for another job I got a notification that my CV may be checked by professionals completely for free. "What a scam" I thought to myself however decided to give it a try, as I wasn't obliged to give any of my confidential information or credit card numbers. I was surprised when after several days I got an email with an extensive analysis prepared by TopCV employee with suggestions on what may be improved. Needles to say, majority of the recommendations were relative and I decided to apply them in my CV. I would recommend at least to give it a try and then decide on your own if you would like to get more details regarding improvement of your CV for some fee.

This service may work for beginners, but for experienced professional, this is merely marketing gimmick and nothing more than changing few words. Based on my experience and interaction via email with the individual as well as support staff of TopCV, none of them found to be experienced in IT and even understanding the many of IT terminologies. I. e. At one place despite giving full form in my comment to writer, used the word as "studied MVP", which shows writer doesn't understand MVP means Minimum Viable Product in Agile world.
Another good example is - free review of TopCV will highlight the issue with your CV wordings which aren't suitable to ATS (Applicant Tracking System) which is used in hiring industry. Once you have your CV reworded by TOPCV, if you get it reviewed with other such service provider, their feedback is the same as "CV is not compatible with ATS". So in a nutshell, there is not return after spending good amount of money.
So overall, I believe this is nothing but marketing gimmick to get money, and my humble request is NOT to use any such provider, especially not the TOPCV.

Hi All, I would just like to warn people about using a company called Top CV or Top Resume. I paid for the package that was meant to give me a professional up-to-date CV, Cover Letter and professional LinkedIn profile, well after several attempts, being passed from one writer to the next, and four weeks gone past, I still do not have the documents or profile I paid over £200 for! I realise that I've been scammed in a big way, and am posting this in the hope that no one else will be scammed. Whilst waiting for my professional CV I have been using the CV I created, and have had a good response from potential employers and employment agencies, so my advice is check with people in the know if your CV is good before paying vast amounts of money to have a professional CV done, and if you do have a CV done DO NOT use Top CV or Top Resume! (This is the same company, they just change names depending on who is contacting you, or maybe to cause confusion as part of their scam!) I have requesteda refund on numerous occasions but have been advised that they do not give refunds, which I find disgusting as I have not received what I paid for!
