I thought my writer (Cheryl) did well to turn my experiences, accomplishments and my skills into a more concise/comprehensive format. The CV template was visually well laid out to get it past ATS. The cover letter also complemented the CV much better and in a way that gives a glance. She also considered my comments within the allotted time and gave me further suggestions for adding future skills/competencies to my CV. I would highly recommend if you're tired of getting the same old automated rejections instead of getting more responses/interviews straight away. Thank you TopCV.

Please stay away from this company. They have no competences to write a CV and they won't refund you for the poor job they deliver.
They literally re-wrote my CV mentioning a number of skills and responsibilities that I don't have, they even made up roles I never covered. They basically copy-paste CVs, they have no idea of what they're doing. On top of that they fill the CV with buzz words that add no value and actually sound beyond ridiculous.
I'll try to get my money back, but please STAY AWAY from this people, they just want to rip you off.

If I could give this review ZERO stars, I would. DO NOT USE TOP CV! Read their Ts & Cs carefully - they do not give refunds, even if they do not deliver on completing your CV to an acceptable standard. Buyer beware! Most of the top reviews are for their CV assessment, not their actually CV writing service.

First off, they submitted at least 8 drafts of my CV over about 3 months, although their package promises a CV within 2 weeks time. Throughout the whole process there were continual lags in communication, and me having to continually chase them to get an update. During the 3 months, I was assigned to two different writers, who were supposedly experts in my field. I don't even know how this could be possible, as all drafts given to me had extensive grammatical errors, and did not make sense. These "writers" obviously had no idea what I actually do for a living, not do they know proper English. They continually made extremely poor choices of language and context, I'm not even a writer and I could honestly say I could have done a better job.

Even with continual extensive communication (notes, links, revisions) with them, they have never delivered a single usable version of my CV to me EVER. The cherry on top of this whole fiasco, is that they have refused to refund the £99 I paid for this service and left me with nothing usable. Money wasted.

It's obvious that they use some sort of standard template, just tweaking bits and bobs to make it "personalised". I can echo the review below me: "Unbelievably, bad job, and extremely frustrating experience." I'll add to this by saying that this company are a bunch of fraudster, scam artists who lure you in with a CV analysis, but never deliver on the final product. Shame on you TOP CV!

The most horrendous experience ever with this company, BE WARNED they steal your money - I sent my decent CV over to them thinking i would get a professional service.

Well all they did was cut and copied my CV! And added a few different words in, oh and the main thing for them was to reduce it down to 2 pages!

Waste of £130 feeling very sore, have disputed it but as you can imagine they will give nothing back, i went to my credit card company to dispute it and they then said we will give you 50% back if you cancel it and get the credit card company to send a mail to confirm this. The credit card company stated that they would not do this - so hence I am still out of pocket with nothing more than what I had initially - their CV is just unusable - so so disappointing.

Moral of this, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ITS A RIP OFF!

I paid 189 Euros for the CV package. This includes feedback and criticism on my CV where I can cooperate with the "expert" to create a CV that would reach industry standards. The feedback period is 2 weeks long and we talked back and forth over email. At the end of the 2 weeks, the CV didn't include everything I asked for. I reached out to customer care and they told me the 2 week feedback period was over and the expert can no longer help me with me CV. I asked for a refund because i was displeased with the outcome and they refused. I literally paid a huge chunk off my bank account for this. DISGUSTING!

What an awful experience!. How could I be so stupid to part with money for this scam!. I wish I had read the reviews on here first.
I wanted a fresh pair of 'expert' eyes to look at my CV as I hadn't updated the format for a while and wanted it more edited and stronger. The first draft came and straight away realised this company wasn't legitimate, It was shocking!.
TOPCV promise to match with an expert writer in your 'region' and with experience in your industry. This is complete rubbish. My writer was obviously in the U.S. and I am in the U. K. and he obviously had no experience in my industry, not to mention al the grammatical errors and bad sentence structure. I asked to change writer but asked them to confirm that they can fullfuill their promise of a match in my region and industry but they never answered this. I then asked for a refund. Which they refused. I eventually got half money back which I realise from reading other reviews on here that this was a result as most seem to get nothing back. They are only interested in taking your money.
Please don't fall for this scam. They are taking advantage of good people that only want to better themselves by having a stronger CV. TOPCV are not capable of doing this for you.
The good reviews on here are ridiculous and obviously fake. If you keep scrolling down you see many more reviews like mine.
