I got a chance to get my free CV review from CVNow done and seeing the detailed analysis of their review, I decided to go for the service and subsequently opted for the 48 Hour service and got the first CV Draft with in 24 Hours. Great TAT.
The change was good and the draft required only minor adjustments. I now have a completely different CV both in terms of the content and also the look and feel.
I also took the service of getting my cover letter prepared and CVNow team has done a great job with that too.
On an overall basis, i think the service is a bit expensive. However the TAT was great.

For me the work done by CVNow was magical, since I gave to different extensive CV, containing allow of information and was not structured or presented properly. Only after 5-6 days a totally new excellent CV, totally different. They allow me two time editing, but I need only one time, since it was perfect. They respond to all issues raised during that time. Now, I realize how good CV make the difference and I got positive answers and interviews. Therefore, I do appreciate the excellent work done by the CVNow team.

It took 3 rewrites to get my CV to start to appear strong for my industry. I still then had to make changes to the English. It would appear that the CV was written by someone whose first language is not English and who does not know the Event management industry.
Still it is tidier now and in a different format. So time will tell.
Would I recommend CV Now on balance No. It appears to be expensive when you have to do most of the work yourself.
Having been contacted by CVNow as my cv was registered on a recruitment website, cvnow offered a free critique. Having read some good reports, and with looking to improve my chances of getting interviews, i purchased the executive package being promised by Katie Warren a first draft within 2 days. (what a load of rubbish!) After 4 days, i contacted them to be given conflicting information that they had not started the draft, later that night i received an email with what was supposed to be a cv draft copy!, it was missing information, had spelling mistakes, written in AMERICAN english and had grammatical errors. After highlighting to the customer services various issues, they were rude and patronising and refused to refund. The cv was certainly NOT written by a professional writer. I have been in touch with my bank and it has also been reported to Trading Standards.
I got the CV plus cover letter package and I was very happy with the quality and the delivery times. However, the package includes 7 days for 2 reviews and this is not really working because it may not be enough time to check and provide feedback. It can also take some time for their first revision to be ready. It should either be 2 weeks or 1 week after each revision. Mostly because the package is not cheap.

CV's which contain most, if not ALL of the best practice criteria expected of a modern CV. Kudos should go to you on being able to present my background, competencies, attributes and transferable skills in such a comprehensive manner.
Very fast service. My resume needed to be reviewed more for its shape than for its content. CVNow did great job writing useful key word that made my resume more intersting and professional for headhunter. I don't use it yest but I'm hopeful it will be appreciated.
