I just want to express my disappointment with the experience I had at TJ Max located at Flagler Square Plaza in Miami, FL. Flagler and 102 Ave aprox address. There was a super long waiting line with only 2 cashiers and no Manager in the picture whatsoever. No on never apologized with the customers and there was a Cashier with a very bad actitud towards everybody, she was probably the manager not sure. She came after the line was already running almost to the end of the store. I love TJMax but there is definitely a problem with this particular location. Thank you in advance for your attention with this matter.
I purchased two dresses for my daughter's engagement event, and upon getting dressed, I realized that the sensors were not taken off the dresses. I reached out to the manager, and she said I could bring the dresses back to Williamsburg, VA ( Store I purchased the dresses). I was heading towards Manassas, and I could not go back to Williamsburg due to the time. She recommended that I could go to another one of their stores so they could remove them. I asked her why the alarm didn't the go off when I left the store, and she kept saying we checked our alarms. I went to several stores, and no one could remove the sensors because they said they don't have that type of equipment. I was very embarrassed because the alarm went off going in and out of each store. I was very upset because I was expecting to wear the dress ( I was told another location could remove the sensors and I was given incorrect information) and I had to wear a dress that I put on to travel in.
I saw an item for sale from tj max. I contacted the store to verify that the as was correct and was told it was. I purchased it to find out it was a fraud. I finally found tj max complain line. It took 4 tries to get through. When I did get through just to have the fuston er r sevive person laugh at me. Very disrespectful. Never buy online from this company. They have very little respect for their customers
Bought some face wash and it was rancid. Even after I washed it off it still smelled. It grossed me out. They have too much inventory sitting around because no one is buying it. Real messy store. Years ago I used to like it but that's changed. I seldom shop there anymore.
I was at the TJ Maxx today in Oceanside, Ca. Off the 78 and Plaza drive. I had to use the restroom. It was a three stall bathroom. One was out of order. As I was in the bathroom I looked down on the ground and the was toilet paper with poop on it. I then looked over to my right and there was poop on the floor in the out of order stall. It was very disgusting. I went to check out and let the cashier know. She them informed a manager (he was some sort or coordinator) who was aware of this and started he thought it was already taken care of. He had called several employees to the front and it seemed like no one wanted to clean it up. I feel it was very unsanitary and the managershpuod of made sure that this was taken care of right away.
I ordered some cooling sheets some pillows and a pair of sandals almost three months ago. And I'm just now being contacted about the items not being in stock. WTF? I used to love tjmaxx, but this issue has changed my shopping habit with this company.
Ever since I was little I always wanted to work here at tjmaxx and finally the day came where u turned 16 and was finally able to work! I got hired and everything was perfect, got along with everyone and everything was just fun!… after a while this girl that worked with me had her boyfriend join tjmaxx as well. They were through some stuff that they both told me and I decided to keep talking to both of them. After a while they both started talking bad about me,laughing and making faces at me and even physically started hitting me. I swear to you I went to ALL the managers to talk about it and you know what they did nothing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I just decided to keep working there and hopefully everything would end. It got to the point where I was going out to my lunch and once I had 2 min to get back to work the same girl that literally worked in the MORNING WHILE I WAS THERE, popped out of no where with her boyfriend! She punched me.Screamed at me and told me all these things which I have all saved in my camera roll. Her boyfriend even called out just to go and see like really?!. After I went back to work and told the manager I couldn't work there because it was THE 3-4 TIME I HAD TOLD THE MANAGERS ABOUT IT AND THEY DIDNT DO $#*!!. Now I'm here looking for a new job while the other girl is still working there like if nothing happened. The only thing the manager cares about is her credit cards and money.
I've been a customer since the 80s, and began also buying on-line from them several years ago. Yesterday the $170 aquatalia boots I bought on-line were delivered-however, a $24.99 pair of camo sneakers (in 3 sizes smaller, and super ugly) were in the package Instead. I stupidly took them to the local store here in glens falls NY-where I was treated as a "scammer" by 3 sales associates and had many customers smirking and gawking. The manager was nice, but of course refused return- wouldn't even call customer service. I realized later he thought I was a scammer too, he questioned if I shopped at Marshalls too. I said yes, why?! He pointed out that the shoe box had a Marshalls code sticker attached. I suppose that was absolute "proof" of my criminality. I spend thousands a year at tj max, but now I'm so stressed and losing sleep. It's not the $, it was being judged and deemed a scammer by dozens of people- when I'm the victim and suffering here. I have to wait several more days since they are only available Mon-Fri for phone help.I drove way out of my way today for this return attempt, (with my family since we had plans- so they upset too) and now I have to wait a few more days for an aggravating phone conversation, then what? Return by mail at my own expense and a long trip to UPS? Nope. I obviously won't pay my tjmaxx credit card that this purchase was made on- and I'll suffer a drop in my credit rating?! Being pessimistic right now but I'm just so angry.
I have tried to place 2 orders online and both have been cancelled, stating a Billing issue, however my credit card was Charged. Phone associates were absolutely NO Help, not interested in even trying to complete the sell. All I want, how about the items I ordered. Now, I have to wait 5 days before the charge is removed from my credit card. What a tremendous waste of time.
I never knew getting a correct size could be so hard…. Until I ordered online. I ordered a pair of shoes online that I was so excited about. The sizing was worded a little strange but I got my normal size (11US) which is a 9UK. Got them, they were a size 9 US. When I ordered, I used a reward, discount, and a free ship code. Called customer service. They said I would have to reorder them and take the other pair to FedEx. I lost my reward and they had to "refund" me the $10 shipping. Paid $20 more this time for the shoes and I took the other to FedEx. Received them again hoping they could at least read and get it right this time, NOPE. Size 9 shoes AGAIN. Called really frustrated at this point. Was told they don't know if they still have them and they couldn't let me know until the end of the week. At this point I'm returning them to TjMaxx and closing my credit card with them. It's not that hard to get this right.
I ordered online a woman's bag. They sent me a totally different one. I am highly disappointed! When I called the customer service representative she told me to return it. Duuh
I purchased some clothes on Feb 2023 and tried to return on May. Also, I lost my receipt. So they rejected my return request. On their return policy only"Merchandise that is used, worn and in unsellable conditions will not be accepted for refund, merchandise credits or exchanges". All the clothes are never wear/wash and attached a price tag with them. They can hang out and sale easily. Don't understand why can't I get store credits for next time purchasing. TJ Maxx at Poughkeepsie NY is the store I have my bad experience.

After some white people heard of this and knowing about the minority persons interest in the job they were told...and I quote, Oh they don't hire minorities over the at TJ Maxx. Prejudice retailer. TJ Maxx deserves no stars.
Was at Naples FL store middle of weekday 3 cashiers and over 20 groups of people waiting. After 15 minutes someone who looked like a manager called a few extra cashiers deplorable service. Why don't they call available cashiers once line is over 10 people I don't get it
Delivered an inferior item in place of what I ordered & believed I was receiving from the website. Although my order reflected correct item# with picture, tjmaxx sent entirely different color, style and quality suitcase. Disappointed by "bait & switch".
Don't order stuff online here. It was my first time and the shirt didn't fit, and even though it was returned on time with a receipt - they only give back freaking merchandise credit. They box you in to only shopping at tjmax, hate this policy so much! It's so inconvenient and unnecessary in this day, I had my receipt and just like every other store, I should get my money back to my card
TJ Maxx is a great store for finding amazing deals on brand name clothing, shoes, accessories and home goods. They have a huge selection of items that are always fresh and trendy. The quality is excellent and the prices are unbeatable. I love shopping at TJ Maxx and discovering new treasures every time.
I have never encountered customer service as bad as Tjmax's. These people hang up the phone on you because they refuse to help. If most of them do it, it is undoubtedly because this behavior is encouraged by their superior.
Recently, I called our local TJ Maxx to see if they had any spring/summer wreaths in stock. I was lucky to speak with a customer service rep AMARINE. She had excellent customer service skills, as well as a great telephone voice. She was very helpful and in fact, put a wreath on hold for me and this is a customer service rep. They should not lose. She's very well trained. Please share this review with her manager as well as the rep herself.
I have been a loyal TJ Max client over 30 years. I have given them thousands of dollars of business. Just the last few years I have noticed the quality of items at TJ Max has gone down significantly. I have returned more in the last year than I have ever had to I stopped shopping there due to very bad product quality, as well they do not appreciate customers returning merchandise. Unfortunately, my recent experiences with customer service has been unsatisfactory as well.
Answer: This site takes a lot longer to ship than normal sites. I do not know why they are slow. There's a chance they could also cancel your order because their inventory status is not usually up to date.
