Originally I was very happy with my shopping experiences but not with my latest two purchases. I am certain I wont shop/order from this site again.
I have made at least a half dozen purchases from this site since theyve opened. Its like shopping in the store except you dont get to try items on. I usually get free shipping and they arrive in a timely manner and you get an email letting you know when its shipped so you can track it and know exactly when to expect it. Anything I dont like I take to the store to return but you can just send them back and it isnt an ordeal. Love this site!
I absolutely LOVE this store.
They have such good finds and for great pricing.
The only downfall is that you will want to get EVERYTHING and then you are broke.:-)

I've shopped with TJX for years, it's one of my favorite places. I thought I would try the website because they had options that I wouldn't find in my local store. I purchased an item and didn't get a shipping notification, a week later my purchase was cancelled. While I understand that this is a scenario that can happen I asked for compensation for the inconvenience. Apparently they don't offer coupons to customers put in this situation, at other online stores when this has happened they at least offered a coupon for future use. So I won't be back and that really sucks.

We looked and bought some jeans and shirts. Pricing was touted as discount. Same jeans (Wrangler and Levi's) was about the same@ Walmart. Have not been back since.
I have done this mistake 3 times! And I will never do it again!
1st time... got a wrong item. On the receipt was my original purchase. Therefore. I could not return it! I have tried in 2 different stores. Staff was rude in both cases and customer service not very helpful.
2nd time... I did not receive one of my items... (and nothing instead of it) however... I was charged for that! After 3 weeks. Still waiting for the refund...
3rd time (and surely the last one)... I was told my order was shipped. But UPS after 3 days. Still disagrees with that. Claiming that they have not received my order! In adittion, my order (although I was charged) does not appear in my personal page in their website...!
Do not order anything from them! Tried it 3 times... 100% fail!

Todays Veterans day and my husband and I went shopping! 25% off bed bath and beyond, 11% big lots snd a free breakfast. Go to TJ Maxx and nothing! Im disappointed, as large as this chain is they dont acknowledge Vets? Not happy about this, people need to know! Unamerican TJ Maxx! Shows exactly how you feel about your customers, you dont care!

I always shop there that's why I got myself a tjmaxx credit card... but I got confused of my bill so I called their costumer service... and the woman I was talking to gave me attitude... she made me feel I was dumb... maybe I was dumb at the time, that's why i said I'm confused... but she gave me this not very nice feeling... you should not treat your customers like that... and I've heard they were talking Filipino in the background... so loud... so rude... it change my view in tjmaxx... it used to be my favorite store...

Milwaukee, WI for many years. I would like to thank Tina the manager for being so helpful and kind. She is patient with customers and attentive. A few days ago I had made a return and later noticed I wasn't refunded for one of the items. I went back the next day and Tina was the one who helped me. Tina took the time to resolve the problem with my return and did so in a very professional manner. She was very apologetic and sincere. Absolutely the best! Thank you Tina! Yuliya Fridman.
The T. J. Maxx store in Monroe Michigan is always kept clutter free and clean
There is always something new and the prices are reasonable and the clerks are always friendly and helpful.
Love this store. Whenever I want something unusual I shop t. J's first. Never disappointed. Always walk out with something whether it's for house or clothing. Don't ever close!
They have put a system in place that requires you to spend 30 minutes waiting for them to authorize each charge on each card that you bought. Plus the personnel are not at all trained and the people at the other end of the telephone have no idea what they're doing.
I used to shop and tjmaxx, marshalls and homegoods ALL THE TIME. I had the tjmaxx credit card for well over a year, never missed a single payment. Until one day, I made my payment but accidentally linked it to the wrong saved payment method, so I was two days late. I paid two days later as soon as I realized my mistake. Shortly afterward my card was canceled and I tried to talk to them to resolve it and get my card back to no avail. I will not be shopping or recommending this company ever again. I am very disappointed it has come to this.
I go to TJ MAXX (around the corner) only for household goods or gifts! I'm larger sized, so clothes and a lot of jewelry is out of the picture. They do have stuff that is cute & unusual in the home/kitchen/decor section but every single one you do have to kind of watch... I think they throw stuff on the shelf when stocking! Just examine anything you find & intend to buy VERY carefully for damage, chips, tears, whatever...
If you want quality clothes or anything for that matter go to TJMaxx. Their prices are very reasonable and the staff is very helpful. They even tailor cothes if need be.
I love shopping at T. J. Maxx stores. They have lovely surprises every where from clothing to bedding to wall decor. I could spend hours in there and keep finding things I missed. I especially like the name brands that I don't pay name brand prices for. Marshall's for instance, shoes and clothes to die for but get there early the cute stuff goes fast.
This is my opinion you may agree or not but it's how I see it now. When T. J. Maxx first hit the high street some of the choices and bargins were brilliant no complaints and no competition. As for now the choice is not as good or cheap as it used to be bargains for the male seem to be scarce so does the choice as for some of the cloths etc on offer definitely from the cheaper end of the market and of course on line shopping etc the competition has become fiercer so they need to up their game or could end up the way other famous stores have!
I like both these stores. BUT, sometimes you go in and can't find anything. Next time you fill up your cart. You just have to stop in and check out what they have new.
Answer: This site takes a lot longer to ship than normal sites. I do not know why they are slow. There's a chance they could also cancel your order because their inventory status is not usually up to date.
