I purchased Continental tires with a promotion to receive 2 gift cards. One was for buying continental tires. The other was for signing up for and using a tirerack credit card. I only received one of the cards and every time I called I kept getting told that I needed to wait longer. Never came. I cut up the tirerack card. I still buy from tirerack due to cost but I will never trust tirerack again so I do not buy tires that have any sort of rebate unless it is an instant rebate.
Be it a bad bead on a foreign made tire or poor installation by a pro or FedEx gorillas forcing the strapping tape into the beads, no matter to Tire Rack
