I purchased a set of tires for my ******* BME 328ix to replace the factory run flat continentals. This replacement set also by Continental was shown as a close out model and as such I expected what might be an older stock. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a beautiful set with resent manufacturing date.

1. Promotional terms can be frustratingly difficult to comply with - I was refused for a promotional rebate because my Tire Rate invoice date reflected a date several says later than my actual online purchase date. I wasted time trying to get the invoice date corrected, with no luck. This was not the first time something like this has happened with a Tire Rack purchase and a denied promotional rebate.
2. I applied for the Continental credit card this month to take advantage of a promotion, by the time the card finally arrived in the mail for my use the price of the tires had increased materially undercutting the value of the promotional credit card rebate. I did not need another credit card but was motivated to apply by the promo offer.

Been using tire rack for years. A year ago I tried a local guy recommended by a neighbor - way more expensive. I have a tire guy that I like nearby and I have tried to give him the business of selling me my tires - but unless I buy his preferred brand Falken which have long life but stink he is at least 25-50% higher on tires. So I just use him to install the tire rack tires

Was told by installer that tire had a lot of runout. Installer had to use excessive weight to balance and recommend not putting that tire on front of vehicle. Warranty dept. Told I had to have a road force balance done for the tire to be warrantied. That should be explained prior to appointment so that can be done and I wouldn't have to make another special trip to the installer waisting my time.

Tire rack is terrific for making tire decisions at a good price

This has been the most hassle free and quick tire buying experience ever. I've always used tire rack to compare prices and price match with stores but decided to buy tires from there for the first time. It was an amazingly quick and simple experience to buy and get them installed. During the buying process, I was able to schedule installation with a near by Discount Tires. The tires were delivered two days before my appointment, and in 30mins I was riding with new set of 4 tires.
I remember previously spending upwards of 2+ hours at a DTs, to buy and install the tires. This was the best experience and I will from now on, going to be using TR for any future tire purchases. Can't recommend Tire Rack enough.

I would not make a tire purchase from Tire Rack again. I ordered three ADVANTA HPZ-02 Ultra High Performance All-Season tires, but they sent me a different tire and claimed it was not their tire and that they could not resolve the issue. The different tire had a distinct brand and tread pattern; it was new, but not the tire I ordered. I purchased three matching tires, not a mismatched set. The customer service was subpar. I would never shop there or recommend them to anyone looking for tires; buyers beware was not very happy, had to purchase from Walmart
