Happy with Tire Rack but desire wider selection of installers
It's a very good experience on buying and comparing the tires. The delivery was quick. The only issue I have is with the est cost shown for different tire installers. I was shown80$ but when I went to install, they asked 200$. Finally I was able to bring Down to 150 with alignments and Tpms. I guess tires rack should stop showing estimated cost if they are not sure what the installer will charge.

My son had a little accident that bent two wheels on his car. Tire shop wanted $400 to repair them. Ordered 4 wheels +free shipping in two days
My "Tire Rack" experience was "Great"! NO COMPLAINTS WHATSOEVER! When asked for me to pick a local shop that was on Tire Rack's "Preferred Installers"; I chose a "Firestone Complete Care Care Center" near me...
I made an appointment and even with the appointment took almost 3 hours for them to install tires and do front end alignment... I'm thinking... "What's the point of having an appointment if it's going to take 3 hours to put on a set of tires and do a front end alignment"? Anyway, I recommend "Tire Rack"; but would definitely chose another "Preferred Installer" than the Firestone I went to.

On time, good price, plenty of selection. I was able to match two of the existing tires that were not worn. The worn out tires were caused from suspension problems and it is nice to be able to match existing tires. I love that about tirerack.

When I tried to schedule appointment at checkout, kept getting error messages. Recommended tire shop was unable (or unwilling) to mount and balance the tires for me, leaving me to scramble to find someone who could that day. Ended up having to pay double for Pomps to put them on for me.

Ordered tires on a Monday expected at the end of the week but they arrived within 2 days! Wow!
We called all over town trying to find a shop that had the tires we wanted in stock, but nobody had them or could even order them from their suppliers. Thankfully, Tire Rack had them in stock and one of our local shops agreed to install them.
Did educate myself of all aspects of sizing, wheel, tire, as I was changing a few dynamics of the whole set. Worked off of Tire Racks web site and walla!
Wheels and tires are on,... and Im happy. Will be buying again.
On a return issue on some lugs I purchased, (I missed the mark on that one), I had no problem getting a full return refund.
